1 Then arose Eliashib the hie Priest with his brethren the Priestes, and they buylt the sheepegate: they repayred it, and set vp the doores thereof: euen vnto the tower of Meah repayred they it, and vnto the tower of Hananeel.
1 O sumo sacerdote Eliasib e seus irmãos, sacerdotes, puseram-se a trabalhar para reconstruir a porta das Ovelhas; consagraram-na e assentaram-lhe os batentes. Construíram a muralha até a torre de Mea, a qual consagraram, e prosseguiram até a torre de Hananeel.
2 And next vnto him buylded the men of Iericho, and beside him Zaccur the sonne of Imri.
2 Ao lado deles construíam os homens de Jericó; e, mais ao longe, Zacur filho de Amri.
3 But the fish port did the sonnes of Senaah buylde, which also layde the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
3 Os filhos de Asnaa construíram a porta dos Peixes; colocaram-lhe as vigas e assentaram-lhe os batentes, com suas fechaduras e as trancas.
4 And next vnto them fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vrijah, the sonne of Hakkoz: and next vnto them fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Meshezabeel: and next vnto them fortified Zadok, the sonne of Baana:
4 Ao lado deles trabalhavam nas reparações Marimut, filho de Urias, filho de Acus, depois Mosolão, filho de Baraquias, filho de Mesezebel; depois Sadoc, filho de Baana.
5 And next vnto them fortified the Tekoites: but the great men of them put not their neckes to the worke of their lordes.
5 Ao lado destes trabalhavam os tecuítas; mas seus chefes não prestaram apoio ao trabalho do seu Senhor.
6 And the gate of the olde fishpoole fortified Iehoiada the sonne of Paseah, and Meshullam the sonne of Besodaiah: they laid the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, and the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
6 Joiada, filho de Fasea, e Mosolão, filho de Besodias, repararam a porta antiga; puseram-lhe as vigas e colocaram os batentes, as fechaduras e as trancas.
7 Next vnto them also fortified Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Iadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, vnto the throne of the Duke, which was beyond the Riuer.
7 Ao lado trabalhavam Meltias, o gabaonita, Jadon, o meronatita, bem como os homens de Gabaon e de Masfa, que eram súditos do governador da outra banda do rio.
8 Next vnto him fortified Vzziel the sonne of Harhohiah of the golde smithes: next vnto him also fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Harakkahim, and they repayred Ierusalem vnto the broad wall.
8 Ao lado trabalhava Eziel, filho de Araías, que pertencia à turma dos ourives; depois Ananias, da turma dos perfumistas. Reconstruíram Jerusalém até o muro largo.
9 Also next vnto them fortified Rephaiah, the sonne of Hur, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem.
9 Ao lado deles trabalhava Rafaías, filho de Hur, chefe de uma metade do distrito de Jerusalém.
10 And next vnto him fortified Iedaiah the sonne of Harumaph, euen ouer against his house: and next vnto him fortified Hattush, the sonne of Hashabniah.
10 Depois, frente à sua casa, Jedaías, filho de Haromaf; em seguida Hatas, filho de Hasebonias.
11 Malchiiah the sonne of Harim, and Hashub the sonne of Pahath Moab fortified the seconde porcion, and the tower of the fornaces.
11 Melquias, filho de Herem, e Hasub, filho de Falat-Moab, repararam outra parte da muralha e a torre dos Fornos.
12 Next vnto him also fortified Shallum, the sonne of Halloesh, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem, he, and his daughters.
12 Ao lado deles trabalhava, com suas filhas, Selum, filho de Aloes, chefe da outra metade do distrito de Jerusalém.
13 The valley gate fortified Hanum, and the inhabitants of Zanuah: they buylt it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, euen a thousand cubites on the wall vnto the dung porte.
13 Hanun e os habitantes de Zanoe repararam a porta do Vale; recontruíram-na e trocaram os batentes, as fechaduras e as trancas; e fizeram além disso mil côvados de muro até a porta da Esterqueira.
14 But the dung port fortified Malchiah, the sonne of Rechab, the ruler of the fourth part of Beth-haccarem: he built it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
14 Melquias, filho de Recab, chefe do distrito de Betacarão, reformou a porta da Esterqueira; reconstruiu-a, colocando-lhe também os batentes, as fechaduras e as trancas.
15 But the gate of the fountaine fortified Shallun, the sonne of Col-hozeh, the ruler of the fourth part of Mizpah: he builded it, and couered it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, and the wall vnto the fishpoole of Shelah by the Kings garden, and vnto the steppes that goe downe from the citie of Dauid.
15 Selum, filho de Colhosa, chefe do distrito de Masfa, reparou a porta da Fonte; reconstruiu-a, cobriu-a, e colocou-lhe os batentes, as fechaduras e as trancas; fez além disso os muros, desde a piscina de Siloé, ao lado do jardim do rei, até a escada que desce da cidade de Davi.
16 After him fortified Nehemiah the sonne of Azbuk, the ruler of ye halfe part of Beth-zur, vntill the otherside ouer against the sepulchres of Dauid, and to the fishpoole that was repaired, and vnto the house of the mightie.
16 Depois dele, Neemias, filho de Azboc, chefe da metade do distrito de Betsur, trabalhou até defronte do túmulo de Davi, até o reservatório artificial e até a casa dos Heróis.
17 After him fortified the Leuites, Rehum the sonne of Bani, and next vnto him fortified Hashabiah the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah in his quarter.
17 Depois dele, trabalharam os levitas com Reum, filho de Beni; ao lado trabalhava, para o seu distrito, Hasebias, chefe da metade do distrito de Ceila.
18 After him fortified their brethren: Bauai, the sonne of Henadad the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah:
18 Mais ao longe trabalhavam seus irmãos, sob a direção de Bavai, filho de Enadad, chefe da outra metade de Ceila.
19 And next vnto him fortified Ezer, the sonne of Ieshua the ruler of Mizpah, the other portion ouer against the going vp to the corner of the armour.
19 Azer, filho de Josué, chefe de Masfa, reparou outro setor da muralha, defronte da subida do arsenal, até a esquina.
20 After him was earnest Baruch the sonne of Zacchai, and fortified another portion from the corner vnto the doore of the house of Eliashib the hie Priest.
20 Depois dele, Baruc, filho de Zacai, trabalhava com ardor em outra seção, desde a esquina até a entrada da casa do sumo sacerdote Eliasib.
21 After him fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vriiah, the sonne of Hakkoz, another portion from the doore of the house of Eliashib, euen as long as the house of Eliashib extended.
21 Depois dele, Merimut, filho de Urias, filho de Hacus, trabalhava em outra seção, desde a porta da casa de Eliasib, até a extremidade dessa casa.
22 After him also fortified the Priests, the men of the playne.
22 Mais ao longe, trabalhavam os sacerdotes, os homens da planície do Jordão.
23 After them fortified Beniamin, and Hasshub ouer against their house: after him fortified Azariah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ananiah, by his house.
23 Depois deles, Benjamim e Hasub trabalhavam defronte das suas casas. Depois deles, Azarias, filho de Maasias, filho de Ananias, ao lado de sua casa;
24 After him fortified Binnui, the sonne of Henadad another portion, from the house of Azariah vnto the turning and vnto the corner.
24 depois dele, Benui, filho de Henadad, trabalhava em outra seção, desde a casa de Azarias até a esquina e o contorno.
25 Palal, the sonne of Vzai, from ouer against the corner, and the high tower, that lieth out from the Kings house, which is beside the court of the prison. After him, Pedaiah, the sonne of Parosh.
25 Falel, filho de Ozi, trabalhava defronte da esquina e da alta torre que aparece sobre o palácio real, perto do átrio da prisão.
26 And the Nethinims they dwelt in ye fortresse vnto the place ouer against the water gate, Eastwarde, and to the tower that lyeth out.
26 Depois dele trabalhava Fadaías, filho de Faros. {Os natineus habitavam Ofel, até defronte da porta da Água, a oriente, e da torre que se salientava.}
27 After him fortified the Tekoites another portion ouer against the great tower, that lyeth out, euen vnto the wall of the fortresse.
27 Depois dele, os tecuítas trabalhavam na parte seguinte, defronte da torre que se salientava, até o muro de Ofel.
28 From aboue the horsegate forth fortified the Priests, euery one ouer against his house.
28 Acima da porta dos Cavalos, trabalhavam os sacerdotes, cada um diante de sua casa.
29 After them fortified Zadok the sonne of Immer ouer against his house: and after him fortified Shemaiah, the sonne of Shechadiah the keeper of the East gate.
29 Depois deles, Sadoc, filho de Emmer, diante de sua casa; depois Semaías, filho de Sequenias, guardião da porta oriental do templo.
30 After him fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sonne of Zalaph, the sixt, another portion after him fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, ouer against his chamber.
30 Depois dele Hananias, filho de Selemias e Hanum, o sexto filho de Selef, repararam uma outra seção. Depois dele Mosolão, filho de Baraquias, trabalhava diante de sua residência.
31 After him fortified Malchiah the goldesmiths sonne, vntil the house of the Nethinims, and of ye marchants ouer against the gate Miphkad, and to the chamber in the corner.
31 Depois dele, trabalhava Melquias, que pertencia à turma dos ourives, até a casa dos natineus e dos negociantes, diante da porta de Mifcad até o quarto da esquina.
32 And betweene the chamber of the corner vnto the sheepegate fortified the goldesmithes and the marchantes.
32 Enfim, entre o quarto da esquina do contorno e a porta das Ovelhas, trabalhavam os ourives e os negociantes.
