1 Then arose Eliashib the hie Priest with his brethren the Priestes, and they buylt the sheepegate: they repayred it, and set vp the doores thereof: euen vnto the tower of Meah repayred they it, and vnto the tower of Hananeel.
1 Então o sumo sacerdote Eliasibe se levantou com os seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, e reconstruíram o Portão das Ovelhas. Eles o consagraram, colocaram os portões no seu lugar e continuaram a reconstrução até a Torre dos Cem e a Torre de Hananel.
2 And next vnto him buylded the men of Iericho, and beside him Zaccur the sonne of Imri.
2 Ao lado dele trabalharam os homens de Jericó, e, ao lado deles, Zacur, filho de Inri.
3 But the fish port did the sonnes of Senaah buylde, which also layde the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
3 Os filhos de Hassenaá reconstruíram o Portão dos Peixes. Colocaram as vigas e os portões nos seus lugares, com os seus ferrolhos e as trancas.
4 And next vnto them fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vrijah, the sonne of Hakkoz: and next vnto them fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Meshezabeel: and next vnto them fortified Zadok, the sonne of Baana:
4 Ao lado deles, quem fez os reparos foi Meremote, filho de Urias, filho de Coz, e ao lado deste, Mesulão, filho de Berequias, filho de Mesezabel. Ao lado deste, Zadoque, filho de Baaná, fez os reparos.
5 And next vnto them fortified the Tekoites: but the great men of them put not their neckes to the worke of their lordes.
5 Ao lado destes, trabalharam os tecoítas. Mas os seus nobres não se sujeitaram ao serviço do seu senhor.
6 And the gate of the olde fishpoole fortified Iehoiada the sonne of Paseah, and Meshullam the sonne of Besodaiah: they laid the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, and the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
6 Joiada, filho de Paseia, e Mesulão, filho de Besodias, repararam o Portão Velho. Colocaram as vigas e os portões nos seus lugares, com os seus ferrolhos e as trancas.
7 Next vnto them also fortified Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Iadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, vnto the throne of the Duke, which was beyond the Riuer.
7 Ao lado deles, trabalharam Melatias, gibeonita, e Jadom, meronotita, homens de Gibeão e de Mispa, que pertenciam ao domínio do governador de além do Eufrates.
8 Next vnto him fortified Vzziel the sonne of Harhohiah of the golde smithes: next vnto him also fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Harakkahim, and they repayred Ierusalem vnto the broad wall.
8 Ao seu lado, quem fez os reparos foi Uziel, filho de Haraías, um dos ourives, e, ao lado dele, Hananias, um dos perfumistas. Eles restauraram Jerusalém até a Muralha Larga.
9 Also next vnto them fortified Rephaiah, the sonne of Hur, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem.
9 Ao lado destes, trabalhou Refaías, filho de Hur, governador de metade do distrito de Jerusalém.
10 And next vnto him fortified Iedaiah the sonne of Harumaph, euen ouer against his house: and next vnto him fortified Hattush, the sonne of Hashabniah.
10 Ao seu lado, Jedaías, filho de Harumafe, fez os reparos em frente da sua casa; e, ao seu lado, Hatus, filho de Hasabneias, fez os reparos.
11 Malchiiah the sonne of Harim, and Hashub the sonne of Pahath Moab fortified the seconde porcion, and the tower of the fornaces.
11 Malquias, filho de Harim, e Hassube, filho de Paate-Moabe, repararam o trecho seguinte e a Torre dos Fornos.
12 Next vnto him also fortified Shallum, the sonne of Halloesh, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem, he, and his daughters.
12 Ao lado dele, quem fez os reparos foi Salum, filho de Haloés, governador da outra metade do distrito de Jerusalém, ele e as suas filhas.
13 The valley gate fortified Hanum, and the inhabitants of Zanuah: they buylt it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, euen a thousand cubites on the wall vnto the dung porte.
13 Hanum e os moradores de Zanoa repararam o Portão do Vale. Eles o reconstruíram, colocaram os portões no seu lugar, com os seus ferrolhos e as trancas, e ainda consertaram quinhentos metros da muralha, até o Portão do Monturo.
14 But the dung port fortified Malchiah, the sonne of Rechab, the ruler of the fourth part of Beth-haccarem: he built it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof.
14 O Portão do Monturo foi reparado por Malquias, filho de Recabe, governador do distrito de Bete-Haquerém. Ele o reconstruiu, colocou os portões no seu lugar, com os seus ferrolhos e as trancas.
15 But the gate of the fountaine fortified Shallun, the sonne of Col-hozeh, the ruler of the fourth part of Mizpah: he builded it, and couered it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, and the wall vnto the fishpoole of Shelah by the Kings garden, and vnto the steppes that goe downe from the citie of Dauid.
15 O Portão da Fonte foi reparado por Salum, filho de Col-Hozé, governador do distrito de Mispa. Ele o reconstruiu, fez uma cobertura, colocou os portões no seu lugar, com os seus ferrolhos e as trancas. Também reconstruiu a muralha do tanque de Selá, junto ao jardim do rei, até os degraus que descem da Cidade de Davi.
16 After him fortified Nehemiah the sonne of Azbuk, the ruler of ye halfe part of Beth-zur, vntill the otherside ouer against the sepulchres of Dauid, and to the fishpoole that was repaired, and vnto the house of the mightie.
16 Ao lado dele, quem fez os reparos foi Neemias, filho de Azbuque, governador de metade do distrito de Bete-Zur, até em frente dos túmulos de Davi, até o tanque e até a casa dos heróis.
17 After him fortified the Leuites, Rehum the sonne of Bani, and next vnto him fortified Hashabiah the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah in his quarter.
17 Depois dele, os levitas, Reum, filho de Bani, e, ao seu lado, Hasabias, governador da metade do distrito de Queila, fizeram os reparos.
18 After him fortified their brethren: Bauai, the sonne of Henadad the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah:
18 Depois dele, os reparos foram feitos pelos seus irmãos: Bavai, filho de Henadade, governador da metade do distrito de Queila.
19 And next vnto him fortified Ezer, the sonne of Ieshua the ruler of Mizpah, the other portion ouer against the going vp to the corner of the armour.
19 Ao seu lado, Ezer, filho de Jesua, governador de Mispa, reparou outro trecho em frente da subida para a casa das armas, na esquina da muralha.
20 After him was earnest Baruch the sonne of Zacchai, and fortified another portion from the corner vnto the doore of the house of Eliashib the hie Priest.
20 Depois dele, Baruque, filho de Zabai, reparou com muito cuidado outro trecho, desde a esquina da muralha até a porta da casa de Eliasibe, o sumo sacerdote.
21 After him fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vriiah, the sonne of Hakkoz, another portion from the doore of the house of Eliashib, euen as long as the house of Eliashib extended.
21 Depois dele, Meremote, filho de Urias, filho de Coz, reparou outro trecho, desde a porta da casa de Eliasibe até a extremidade da casa de Eliasibe.
22 After him also fortified the Priests, the men of the playne.
22 Depois dele, quem fez os reparos foram os sacerdotes que moravam na campina.
23 After them fortified Beniamin, and Hasshub ouer against their house: after him fortified Azariah, the sonne of Maaseiah, the sonne of Ananiah, by his house.
23 Depois, Benjamim e Hassube fizeram os reparos, em frente da sua casa. Depois deles, Azarias, filho de Maaseias, filho de Ananias, reparou junto à sua casa.
24 After him fortified Binnui, the sonne of Henadad another portion, from the house of Azariah vnto the turning and vnto the corner.
24 Depois dele, Binui, filho de Henadade, reparou outro trecho, desde a casa de Azarias até a esquina.
25 Palal, the sonne of Vzai, from ouer against the corner, and the high tower, that lieth out from the Kings house, which is beside the court of the prison. After him, Pedaiah, the sonne of Parosh.
25 Palal, filho de Uzai, reparou em frente da esquina e da torre que sai do palácio real superior, que está junto ao pátio da prisão. Depois dele, Pedaías, filho de Parós,
26 And the Nethinims they dwelt in ye fortresse vnto the place ouer against the water gate, Eastwarde, and to the tower that lyeth out.
26 e os servos do templo que moravam em Ofel fizeram os reparos até em frente do Portão das Águas, na direção do leste, e até a torre alta.
27 After him fortified the Tekoites another portion ouer against the great tower, that lyeth out, euen vnto the wall of the fortresse.
27 Depois, os tecoítas repararam outro trecho, em frente da torre grande e alta, e até a Muralha de Ofel.
28 From aboue the horsegate forth fortified the Priests, euery one ouer against his house.
28 Para cima do Portão dos Cavalos, os sacerdotes fizeram os reparos, cada um em frente da sua casa.
29 After them fortified Zadok the sonne of Immer ouer against his house: and after him fortified Shemaiah, the sonne of Shechadiah the keeper of the East gate.
29 Depois deles, Zadoque, filho de Imer, reparou em frente da sua casa e, depois dele, Semaías, filho de Secanias, guarda do Portão Leste, reparou o trecho seguinte.
30 After him fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sonne of Zalaph, the sixt, another portion after him fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, ouer against his chamber.
30 Depois dele, Hananias, filho de Selemias, e Hanum, o sexto filho de Zalafe, repararam outro trecho. Depois deles, Mesulão, filho de Berequias, fez os reparos em frente de sua residência.
31 After him fortified Malchiah the goldesmiths sonne, vntil the house of the Nethinims, and of ye marchants ouer against the gate Miphkad, and to the chamber in the corner.
31 Depois dele, Malquias, filho de um ourives, fez os reparos até a casa dos servos do templo e dos mercadores, em frente do Portão da Guarda, até o terraço da esquina.
32 And betweene the chamber of the corner vnto the sheepegate fortified the goldesmithes and the marchantes.
32 Entre o terraço da esquina e o Portão das Ovelhas, os reparos foram feitos pelos ourives e pelos mercadores.
