1 Now in the end of the Sabbath, when the first day of ye weeke began to dawne, Marie Magdalene, and the other Marie came to see the sepulchre,
1 No fim do shabat, quando começou a amanhecer o primeiro dia da semana, Maria Madalena e a outra Maria foram ver o sepulcro.
2 And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the Angel of the Lord descended from heauen, and came and rolled backe the stone from the doore, and sate vpon it.
2 E eis que houvera um grande terremoto; pois um anjo do Senhor descera do céu e, chegando-se, removera a pedra da porta, e sentou-se sobre ela.
3 And his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snowe.
3 Seu semblante era como um relâmpago, e as suas vestes brancas como neve.
4 And for feare of him, the keepers were astonied, and became as dead men.
4 E os guardas tremeram de medo por causa dele, e ficaram como homens mortos.
5 But the Angel answered, and said to the women, Feare ye not: for I know that ye seeke Iesus which was crucified:
5 E o anjo, respondendo, disse às mulheres: Não temais vós; pois eu sei que buscais a Jesus, que foi crucificado.
6 He is not here, for he is risen; as he saide: come, see the place where the Lord was laid,
6 Ele não está aqui; porque ele está ressuscitado, como ele disse. Vinde ver o lugar onde o Senhor jazia.
7 And go quickly, and tel his disciples that he is risen from ye dead: and behold, he goeth before you into Galile: there ye shall see him: loe, I haue told you.
7 E ide depressa, e dizei aos seus discípulos que ele está ressuscitado dentre os mortos; e eis que vai adiante de vós para a Galileia; ali o vereis; eis que eu vo-lo tenho dito.
8 So they departed quickly from the sepulchre, with feare and great ioye, and did runne to bring his disciples worde.
8 E, partindo elas apressadamente do sepulcro, com temor e grande alegria, correram a anunciá-lo aos seus discípulos.
9 And as they wet to tel his disciples, behold, Iesus also met the, saying, God saue you. And they came, and tooke him by the feete, and worshipped him.
9 E, indo elas a dar as novas aos seus discípulos, eis que Jesus lhes veio ao encontro, dizendo: Salve. E elas, chegando, abraçaram os seus pés, e o adoraram.
10 Then said Iesus vnto them, Be not afraide. Goe, and tell my brethren, that they goe into Galile, and there shall they see me.
10 Então lhes disse Jesus: Não temais; ide dizer a meus irmãos que vão à Galileia, e lá me verão.
11 Nowe when they were gone, beholde, some of the watch came into the citie, and shewed vnto the hie Priestes all ye things that were done.
11 Quando elas iam, eis que alguns da guarda foram à cidade, e contaram aos principais sacerdotes todas as coisas que foram feitas.
12 And they gathered them together with the Elders, and tooke counsell, and gaue large money vnto the souldiers,
12 E, reunindo-se eles com os anciãos, e tomado conselho, deram muito dinheiro aos soldados,
13 Saying, Say, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
13 dizendo: Dizei: Seus discípulos vieram de noite e o furtaram enquanto nós dormíamos.
14 And if this matter come before the gouernour to be heard, we will perswade him, and so vse the matter that you shall not neede to care.
14 E, se isto chegar aos ouvidos do governador, nós o persuadiremos, e vos poremos em segurança.
15 So they tooke the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is noysed among the Iewes vnto this day.
15 Assim eles pegaram o dinheiro, e fizeram como foram instruídos; e este dito é divulgado entre os judeus até o dia de hoje.
16 Then ye eleuen disciples wet into Galile, into a mountaine, where Iesus had appointed the.
16 Então os onze discípulos foram para a Galileia, para o monte que Jesus lhes tinha designado.
17 And when they sawe him, they worshipped him: but some douted.
17 E, quando o viram, o adoraram; mas alguns duvidaram.
18 And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me, in heauen, and in earth.
18 E Jesus veio e lhes falou, dizendo: Foi-me dado todo o poder no céu e na terra.
19 Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and the Sonne, and the holy Ghost,
19 Portanto, ide, ensinai a todas as nações, batizando-as em nome do Pai, e do Filho, e do Espírito Santo;
20 Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.
20 ensinando-as a observar todas as coisas que eu vos tenho mandado; e eis que eu estou convosco sempre, até o fim do mundo. Amém.
