1 After, the Lord spake vnto Moses and to Aaron, saying vnto them,
1 E falou o SENHOR a Moisés e a Arão, dizendo-lhes:
2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, These are the beastes which yee shall eate, among all the beasts that are on the earth.
2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Estes são os animais, que comereis dentre todos os animais que há sobre a terra;
3 Whatsoeuer parteth the hoofe, and is clouen footed, and cheweth the cudde, among the beastes, that shall ye eate.
3 Dentre os animais, todo o que tem unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas se divide em duas, e rumina, deles comereis.
4 But of them that chewe the cud, or deuide the hoofe onely, of them yee shall not eate: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, and deuideth not ye hoofe, he shall be vncleane vnto you.
4 Destes, porém, não comereis; dos que ruminam ou dos que têm unhas fendidas; o camelo, que rumina, mas não tem unhas fendidas; esse vos será imundo;
5 Likewise the conie, because he cheweth the cud and deuideth not the hoofe, he shall bee vncleane to you.
5 E o coelho, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; esse vos será imundo;
6 Also the hare, because he cheweth the cud, and deuideth not the hoofe, he shalbe vncleane to you.
6 E a lebre, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; essa vos será imunda.
7 And the swine, because he parteth ye hoofe and is clouen footed, but cheweth not the cud, he shalbe vncleane to you.
7 Também o porco, porque tem unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas se divide em duas, mas não rumina; este vos será imundo.
8 Of their flesh shall yee not eate, and their carkeise shall yee not touch: for they shall bee vncleane to you.
8 Das suas carnes não comereis, nem tocareis nos seus cadáveres; estes vos serão imundos.
9 These shall ye eate, of all that are in the waters: whatsoeuer hath finnes and skales in ye waters, in the seas, or in the riuers, them shall ye eate.
9 De todos os animais que há nas águas, comereis os seguintes: todo o que tem barbatanas e escamas, nas águas, nos mares e nos rios, esses comereis.
10 But all that haue not finnes nor skales in the seas, or in the riuers, of all that moueth in the waters, and of al liuing things that are in the waters, they shalbe an abomination vnto you.
10 Mas todo o que não tem barbatanas, nem escamas, nos mares e nos rios, todo o réptil das águas, e todo o ser vivente que há nas águas, estes serão para vós abominação.
11 They, I say, shalbe an abomination to you: ye shall not eate of their flesh, but shall abhorre their carkeis.
11 Ser-vos-ão, pois, por abominação; da sua carne não comereis, e abominareis o seu cadáver.
12 Whatsoeuer hath not fins nor skales in the waters, that shalbe abomination vnto you.
12 Todo o que não tem barbatanas ou escamas, nas águas, será para vós abominação.
13 These shall ye haue also in abomination among the foules, they shall not be eaten: for they are an abomination, the eagle, and the goshauke, and the osprey:
13 Das aves, estas abominareis; não se comerão, serão abominação: a águia, e o quebrantosso, e o xofrango,
14 Also the vultur, and the kite after his kinde,
14 E o milhano, e o abutre segundo a sua espécie.
15 And all rauens after their kinde:
15 Todo o corvo segundo a sua espécie,
16 The ostrich also, and the night crowe, and the seameaw, and the hauke after his kinde:
16 E o avestruz, e o mocho, e a gaivota, e o gavião segundo a sua espécie.
17 The litle owle also, and the connorant, and the great owle.
17 E o bufo, e o corvo marinho, e a coruja,
18 Also the redshanke and the pelicane, and the swanne:
18 E a gralha, e o cisne, e o pelicano,
19 The storke also, the heron after his kinde, and the lapwing, and the backe:
19 E a cegonha, a garça segundo a sua espécie, e a poupa, e o morcego.
20 Also euery foule that creepeth and goeth vpon all foure, such shalbe an abomination vnto you.
20 Todo o inseto que voa, que anda sobre quatro pés, será para vós uma abominação.
21 Yet these shall ye eate: of euery foule that creepeth, and goeth vpon all foure which haue their feete and legs all of one to leape withal vpon the earth,
21 Mas isto comereis de todo o inseto que voa, que anda sobre quatro pés: o que tiver pernas sobre os seus pés, para saltar com elas sobre a terra.
22 Of them ye shall eate these, the grashopper after his kinde, and the solean after his kinde, the hargol after his kinde, and the hagab after his kind.
22 Deles comereis estes: a locusta segundo a sua espécie, o gafanhoto devorador segundo a sua espécie, o grilo segundo a sua espécie, e o gafanhoto segundo a sua espécie.
23 But al other foules that creepe and haue foure feete, they shalbe abomination vnto you.
23 E todos os outros insetos que voam, que têm quatro pés, serão para vós uma abominação.
24 For by such ye shalbe polluted: whosoeuer toucheth their carkeis, shalbe vncleane vnto the euening.
24 E por estes sereis imundos: qualquer que tocar os seus cadáveres, imundo será até à tarde.
25 Whosoeuer also beareth of their carkeis, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntil euen.
25 Qualquer que levar os seus cadáveres lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde.
26 Euery beast that hath clawes deuided, and is not clouen footed, nor cheweth the cud, such shalbe vncleane vnto you: euery one that toucheth them, shalbe vncleane.
26 Todo o animal que tem unha fendida, mas a fenda não se divide em duas, e todo o que não rumina, vos será por imundo; qualquer que tocar neles será imundo.
27 And whatsoeuer goeth vpon his pawes among all maner beastes that goeth on all foure, such shalbe vncleane vnto you: who so doth touch their carkeis shalbe vncleane vntil the euen.
27 E todo o animal que anda sobre as suas patas, todo o animal que anda a quatro pés, vos será por imundo; qualquer que tocar nos seus cadáveres será imundo até à tarde.
28 And he that beareth their carkeis, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntill the euen: for such shalbe vncleane vnto you.
28 E o que levar os seus cadáveres lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde; eles vos serão por imundos.
29 Also these shalbe vncleane to you amog the things that creepe and moue vpon the earth, the weasell, and the mouse, and the frog, after his kinde:
29 Estes também vos serão por imundos entre os répteis que se arrastam sobre a terra; a doninha, e o rato, e a tartaruga segundo a sua espécie,
30 Also the rat, and the lizard, and the chameleon, and the stellio, and the molle.
30 E o ouriço cacheiro, e o lagarto, e a lagartixa, e a lesma e a toupeira.
31 These shall be vncleane to you among all that creepe: whosoeuer doeth touch them when they be dead, shalbe vncleane vntil the euen.
31 Estes vos serão por imundos dentre todos os répteis; qualquer que os tocar, estando eles mortos, será imundo até à tarde.
32 Also whatsoeuer any of the dead carkeises of them doth fall vpon, shalbe vncleane, whether it be vessel of wood, or rayment, or skinne, or sacke: whatsoeuer vessel it be that is occupied, it shalbe put in the water as vncleane vntil the euen, and so be purified.
32 E tudo aquilo sobre o que cair alguma coisa deles estando eles mortos será imundo; seja vaso de madeira, ou veste, ou pele, ou saco, qualquer instrumento, com que se faz alguma obra, será posto na água, e será imundo até à tarde; depois será limpo.
33 But euery earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoeuer is within it shalbe vncleane, and ye shall breake it.
33 E todo o vaso de barro, em que cair alguma coisa deles, tudo o que houver nele será imundo, e o vaso quebrareis.
34 Al meate also that shalbe eaten, if any such water come vpon it, shalbe vncleane: and all drinke that shalbe drunke in al such vessels shalbe vncleane.
34 Todo o alimento que se come, sobre o qual cair água de tais vasos, será imundo; e toda a bebida que se bebe, depositada nesses vasos, será imunda.
35 And euery thing that their carkeis fall vpon, shalbe vncleane: the fornais or the pot shalbe broken: for they are vncleane, and shalbe vncleane vnto you.
35 E aquilo sobre o que cair alguma parte de seu corpo morto, será imundo; o forno e o vaso de barro serão quebrados; imundos são: portanto vos serão por imundos.
36 Yet the fountaines and welles where there is plentie of water shalbe cleane: but that which toucheth their carkeises shalbe vncleane.
36 Porém a fonte ou cisterna, em que se recolhem águas, será limpa, mas quem tocar no seu cadáver será imundo.
37 And if there fal of their dead carkeis vpon any seede, which vseth to be sowe, it shalbe cleane.
37 E, se dos seus cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre alguma semente que se vai semear, será limpa;
38 But if any water be powred vpon ye seede, and there fal of their dead carkeis thereon, it shall be vncleane vnto you.
38 Mas se for deitada água sobre a semente, e se dos seus cadáveres cair alguma coisa sobre ela, vos será por imunda.
39 If also any beast, whereof ye may eate, die, he that toucheth the carkeis thereof shall be vncleane vntil the euen.
39 E se morrer algum dos animais, que vos servem de mantimento, quem tocar no seu cadáver será imundo até à tarde;
40 And he that eateth of the carkeis of it, shall wash his clothes and be vncleane vntil the euen: he also that beareth the carkeis of it, shall wash his clothes, and be vncleane vntil the euen.
40 E quem comer do seu cadáver lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde; e quem levar o seu corpo morto lavará as suas vestes, e será imundo até à tarde.
41 Euery creeping thing therefore that creepeth vpon the earth shalbe an abomination, and not be eaten.
41 Também todo o réptil, que se arrasta sobre a terra, será abominação; não se comerá.
42 Whatsoeuer goeth vpon the breast, and whatsoeuer goeth vpon al foure, or that hath many feete among all creeping thinges that creepe vpon the earth, ye shall not eate of them, for they shalbe abomination.
42 Tudo o que anda sobre o ventre, e tudo o que anda sobre quatro pés, ou que tem muitos pés, entre todo o réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra, não comereis, porquanto são uma abominação.
43 Ye shall not pollute your selues with any thing that creepeth, neither make your selues vncleane with them, neither defile your selues thereby: ye shall not, I say, be defiled by them,
43 Não vos façais abomináveis, por nenhum réptil que se arrasta, nem neles vos contamineis, para não serdes imundos por eles;
44 For I am the Lord your God: be sanctified therefore, and be holy, for I am holy, and defile not your selues with any creeping thing, that creepeth vpon the earth.
44 Porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus; portanto vós vos santificareis, e sereis santos, porque eu sou santo; e não vos contaminareis com nenhum réptil que se arrasta sobre a terra;
45 For I am the Lord that brought you out of the lande of Egypt, to be your God, and that you should be holy, for I am holy.
45 Porque eu sou o Senhor, que vos fiz subir da terra do Egito, para que eu seja vosso Deus, e para que sejais santos; porque eu sou santo.
46 This is the law of beasts, and of foules, and of euery liuing thing that moueth in the waters, and of euery thing that creepeth vpon the earth:
46 Esta é a lei dos animais, e das aves, e de toda criatura vivente que se move nas águas, e de toda criatura que se arrasta sobre a terra;
47 That there may be a difference betweene the vncleane and cleane, and betweene the beast that may be eaten, and the beast that ought not to be eaten.
47 Para fazer diferença entre o imundo e o limpo; e entre animais que se podem comer e os animais que não se podem comer.
