1 I have bene sought of them that asked not: I was found of them that sought me not: I sayd, Beholde me, beholde me, vnto a nation that called not vpon my Name.
1 Fui buscado dos que não perguntavam por mim, fui achado daqueles que não me buscavam; a uma nação que não se chamava do meu nome eu disse: Eis-me aqui. Eis-me aqui.
2 I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:
2 Estendi as minhas mãos o dia todo a um povo rebelde, que anda por caminho, que não é bom, após os seus pensamentos;
3 A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.
3 Povo que de contínuo me irrita diante da minha face, sacrificando em jardins e queimando incenso sobre altares de tijolos;
4 Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.
4 Que habita entre as sepulturas, e passa as noites junto aos lugares secretos; come carne de porco e tem caldo de coisas abomináveis nos seus vasos;
5 Which say, Stand apart, come not neere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath and a fire that burneth all the day.
5 Que dizem: Fica onde estás, e não te chegues a mim, porque sou mais santo do que tu. Estes são fumaça no meu nariz, um fogo que arde todo o dia.
6 Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.
6 Eis que está escrito diante de mim: não me calarei; mas eu pagarei, sim, pagarei no seu seio,
7 Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers shalbe together (sayth the Lord) which haue burnt incense vpon the mountaines, and blasphemed me vpon the hilles: therefore wil I measure their olde worke into their bosome.
7 As vossas iniqüidades, e juntamente as iniqüidades de vossos pais, diz o Senhor, que queimaram incenso nos montes, e me afrontaram nos outeiros; assim lhes tornarei a medir as suas obras antigas no seu seio.
8 Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.
8 Assim diz o Senhor: Como quando se acha mosto num cacho de uvas, dizem: Não o desperdices, pois há bênção nele, assim farei por amor de meus servos, que não os destrua a todos,
9 But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shall inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.
9 E produzirei descendência a Jacó, e a Judá um herdeiro que possua os meus montes; e os meus eleitos herdarão a terra e os meus servos habitarão ali.
10 And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.
10 E Sarom servirá de curral de rebanhos, e o vale de Acor lugar de repouso de gados, para o meu povo, que me buscou.
11 But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.
11 Mas a vós, os que vos apartais do Senhor, os que vos esqueceis do meu santo monte, os que preparais uma mesa para a Fortuna, e que misturais a bebida para o Destino.
12 Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shall bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.
12 Também vos destinareis à espada, e todos vos encurvareis à matança; porquanto chamei, e não respondestes; falei, e não ouvistes; mas fizestes o que era mau aos meus olhos, e escolhestes aquilo em que não tinha prazer.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my seruants shall eate, and ye shalbe hungrie: beholde, my seruants shall drinke, and ye shall be thirstie: beholde, my seruants shall reioyce, and ye shalbe ashamed.
13 Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que os meus servos comerão, mas vós padecereis fome; eis que os meus servos beberão, porém vós tereis sede; eis que os meus servos se alegrarão, mas vós vos envergonhareis;
14 Beholde, my seruants shall sing for ioye of heart, and ye shall crye for sorow of heart, and shall howle for vexation of minde.
14 Eis que os meus servos exultarão pela alegria de coração, mas vós gritareis pela tristeza de coração; e uivareis pelo quebrantamento de espírito.
15 And ye shall leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.
15 E deixareis o vosso nome aos meus eleitos por maldição; e o Senhor DEUS vos matará; e a seus servos chamará por outro nome.
16 He that shall blesse in the earth, shall blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.
16 Assim que aquele que se bendisser na terra, se bendirá no Deus da verdade; e aquele que jurar na terra, jurará pelo Deus da verdade; porque já estão esquecidas as angústias passadas, e estão escondidas dos meus olhos.
17 For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.
17 Porque, eis que eu crio novos céus e nova terra; e não haverá mais lembrança das coisas passadas, nem mais se recordarão.
18 But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,
18 Mas vós folgareis e exultareis perpetuamente no que eu crio; porque eis que crio para Jerusalém uma alegria, e para o seu povo gozo.
19 And I wil reioyce in Ierusalem, and ioye in my people, and the voyce of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voyce of crying.
19 E exultarei em Jerusalém, e me alegrarei no meu povo; e nunca mais se ouvirá nela voz de choro nem voz de clamor.
20 There shall be no more there a childe of yeeres, nor an olde man that hath not filled his dayes: for he that shall be an hundreth yeeres old, shall dye as a yong man: but the sinner being an hundreth yeeres olde shall be accursed.
20 Não haverá mais nela criança de poucos dias, nem velho que não cumpra os seus dias; porque o menino morrerá de cem anos; porém o pecador de cem anos será amaldiçoado.
21 And they shall build houses and inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eate the fruite of them.
21 E edificarão casas, e as habitarão; e plantarão vinhas, e comerão o seu fruto.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabite: they shall not plant, and another eate: for as the dayes of the tree are the dayes of my people, and mine elect shall inioye in olde age the worke of their handes.
22 Não edificarão para que outros habitem; não plantarão para que outros comam; porque os dias do meu povo serão como os dias da árvore, e os meus eleitos gozarão das obras das suas mãos.
23 They shall not labour in vaine, nor bring forth in feare: for they are the seede of the blessed of the Lord, and their buds with them.
23 Não trabalharão debalde, nem terão filhos para a perturbação; porque são a posteridade bendita do Senhor, e os seus descendentes estarão com eles.
24 Yea, before they call, I will answere, and whiles they speake, I will heare.
24 E será que antes que clamem eu responderei; estando eles ainda falando, eu os ouvirei.
25 The wolfe and the lambe shall feede together, and the lyon shall eate strawe like the bullocke: and to the serpent dust shall be his meate. They shall no more hurt nor destroy in all mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord.
25 O lobo e o cordeiro se apascentarão juntos, e o leão comerá palha como o boi; e pó será a comida da serpente. Não farão mal nem dano algum em todo o meu santo monte, diz o Senhor.
