1 Now the Lord had saide vnto Moses, yet will I bring one plague more vpon Pharaoh, and vpon Egypt: after that, he will let you go hence: when he letteth you goe, he shall at once chase you hence.
1 E o Senhor disse a Moisés: Ainda uma praga trarei sobre Faraó e sobre o Egito; depois, vos deixará ir daqui; e, quando vos deixar ir totalmente, a toda a pressa vos lançará daqui.
2 Speake thou nowe to the people, that euery man require of his neighbour, and euery woman of her neighbour iewels of siluer and iewels of gold.
2 Fala agora aos ouvidos do povo, que cada varão peça ao seu vizinho, e cada mulher à sua vizinha, vasos de prata e vasos de ouro.
3 And the Lord gaue the people fauour in the sight of the Egyptians: also Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaohs seruantes, and in the sight of the people.)
3 E o Senhor deu graça ao povo aos olhos dos egípcios; também o varão Moisés era mui grande na terra do Egito, aos olhos dos servos de Faraó e aos olhos do povo.
4 Also Moses sayde, Thus sayth the Lord, About midnight will I goe out into the middes of Egypt.
4 Disse mais Moisés: Assim o Senhor tem dito: À meia-noite eu sairei pelo meio do Egito;
5 And all the first borne in the lande of Egypt shall die, from the first borne of Pharaoh that sitteth on his throne, vnto the first borne of the maide seruant, that is at the mille, and all the first borne of beastes.
5 e todo primogênito na terra do Egito morrerá, desde o primogênito de Faraó, que se assenta com ele sobre o seu trono, até ao primogênito da serva que está detrás da mó, e todo primogênito dos animais.
6 Then there shalbe a great crie throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was neuer none like, nor shalbe.
6 E haverá grande clamor em toda a terra do Egito, qual nunca houve semelhante e nunca haverá;
7 But against none of ye children of Israel shall a dogge moue his tongue, neyther against man nor beast, that ye may knowe that the Lord putteth a difference betweene the Egyptians and Israel.
7 mas contra todos os filhos de Israel nem ainda um cão moverá a sua língua, desde os homens até aos animais, para que saibais que o Senhor fez diferença entre os egípcios e os israelitas.
8 And all these thy seruants shall come downe vnto me, and fal before me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that are at thy feete, and after this will I depart. So he went out from Pharaoh very angry.
8 Então, todos estes teus servos descerão a mim e se inclinarão diante de mim, dizendo: Sai tu e todo o povo que te segue as pisadas; e, depois, eu sairei. E saiu de Faraó em ardor de ira.
9 And the Lord saide vnto Moses, Pharaoh shall not heare you, that my wonders may bee multiplied in the land of Egypt.
9 O Senhor dissera a Moisés: Faraó vos não ouvirá, para que as minhas maravilhas se multipliquem na terra do Egito.
10 So Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: but the Lord hardened Pharaohs heart, and he suffred not the children of Israel to goe out of his lande.
10 E Moisés e Arão fizeram todas estas maravilhas diante de Faraó; mas o Senhor endureceu o coração de Faraó, que não deixou ir os filhos de Israel da sua terra.
