1 Then the word of the Lord came to Iehu the sonne of Hanani against Baasha, saying,
1 Então a palavra do Senhor veio a Jeú, filho de Hanani, contra Baasa, dizendo:
2 Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee captaine ouer my people Israel, and thou hast walked in the way of Ieroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sinne, to prouoke me with their sinnes,
2 — Eu o levantei do pó e fiz com que você se tornasse chefe sobre o meu povo de Israel, mas você tem andado no caminho de Jeroboão e tem feito o meu povo de Israel pecar, irritando-me com os seus pecados.
3 Beholde, I will take away the posteritie of Baasha, and the posteritie of his house, and will make thine house like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat.
3 Por isso, Baasa, vou exterminar você e os seus descendentes e vou fazer com a sua casa o que fiz com a casa de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate.
4 He that dyeth of Baashas stocke in the citie, him shall the dogs eate: and that man of him which dyeth in the fieldes, shall the foules of the ayre eate.
4 Se alguém da casa de Baasa morrer na cidade, os cães o comerão; e se alguém morrer no campo, as aves do céu o comerão.
5 And the rest of the actes of Baasha and what he did, and his power, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?
5 Quanto aos demais atos de Baasa, ao que fez e ao seu poder, não está tudo escrito no Livro da História dos Reis de Israel?
6 So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buryed in Tirzah, and Elah his sonne reigned in his steade.
6 Baasa morreu e foi sepultado em Tirza. E Elá, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
7 And also by the hande of Iehu the sonne of Hanani the Prophet, came the worde of the Lord to Baasha, and to his house, that he shoulde be like the house of Ieroboam, euen for all the wickednes that he did in the sight of the Lord, in prouoking him with the worke of his hands, and because he killed him.
7 Assim, por meio do profeta Jeú, filho de Hanani, a palavra do Senhor veio contra Baasa e contra a sua descendência, por todo o mal que ele havia feito aos olhos do Senhor , irritando-o com as suas obras e fazendo-se igual à casa de Jeroboão, e também porque matou a casa de Jeroboão.
8 In the sixe and twentie yeere of Asa king of Iudah began Elah ye sonne of Baasha to reigne ouer Israel in Tirzah, and reigned two yeere.
8 No vigésimo sexto ano do reinado de Asa, rei de Judá, Elá, filho de Baasa, começou a reinar sobre Israel em Tirza; e reinou dois anos.
9 And his seruant Zimri, captaine of halfe his charets, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah drinking, til he was drunken in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
9 Zinri, seu servo, comandante da metade dos carros de guerra, conspirou contra ele. Elá estava em Tirza, bebendo e embriagando-se na casa de Arsa, seu encarregado em Tirza.
10 And Zimri came and smote him and killed him, in the seuen and twentie yeere of Asa king of Iudah, and reigned in his stead.
10 Zinri entrou na casa, atacou Elá e o matou, no vigésimo sétimo ano do reinado de Asa, rei de Judá. E Zinri reinou em lugar de Elá.
11 And when he was King, and sate on his throne, he slew al the house of Baasha, not leauing thereof one to pisse against a wall, neither of his kinsfolkes nor of his friendes.
11 Logo que começou a reinar e se assentou no trono, Zinri matou todos os descendentes de Baasa; não lhe deixou nenhum do sexo masculino, nem dos parentes, nem dos seus amigos.
12 So did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the Lord which he spake against Baasha by the hande of Iehu the Prophet,
12 Assim, Zinri exterminou todos os descendentes de Baasa, segundo a palavra do Senhor , anunciada por meio do profeta Jeú, contra Baasa,
13 For all the sinnes of Baasha, and sinnes of Elah his sonne, which they sinned and made Israel to sinne, and prouoked the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.
13 por todos os pecados que Baasa e o seu filho Elá cometeram, e pelos pecados que fizeram Israel cometer, irritando o Senhor , Deus de Israel, com os seus ídolos.
14 And the rest of the actes of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
14 Quanto aos demais atos de Elá e a tudo o que ele fez, não está tudo escrito no Livro da História dos Reis de Israel?
15 In the seuen and twentie yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Zimri reigne seuen dayes in Tirzah, and the people was then in campe against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims.
15 No vigésimo sétimo ano do reinado de Asa, rei de Judá, Zinri reinou sete dias em Tirza. O povo estava acampado contra Gibetom, cidade que pertencia aos filisteus.
16 And the people of the hoste heard saye, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slayne the King. Wherefore all Israel made Omri the captaine of the hoste, king ouer Israel that same day, euen in the hoste.
16 O povo que estava acampado ouviu dizer: “Zinri conspirou contra o rei e o matou.” Por isso, naquele mesmo dia, no arraial, todo o Israel constituiu rei sobre Israel a Onri, comandante do exército.
17 Then Omri went vp from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
17 Onri saiu de Gibetom, estando todo o Israel com ele, e sitiou Tirza.
18 And when Zimri saw, that the citie was taken, he went into the palace of the Kings house, and burnt himselfe, and the Kings house with fire, and so dyed,
18 Quando Zinri viu que a cidade havia sido tomada, foi para a fortaleza do palácio real, pôs fogo no palácio real e morreu,
19 For his sinnes which hee sinned, in doing that which is euil in the sight of the Lord, in walking in the way of Ieroboam, and in his sinnes which he did, causing Israel to sinne.
19 por causa dos pecados que havia cometido, fazendo o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor , andando no caminho de Jeroboão e no pecado que havia cometido, e fazendo Israel pecar.
20 And the rest of the actes of Zimri, and his treason that hee wrought, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kinges of Israel?
20 Quanto aos demais atos de Zinri e à conspiração que fez, não está tudo escrito no Livro da História dos Reis de Israel?
21 Then were the people of Israel deuided into two partes: for halfe the people followed Tibni the sonne of Ginath to make him King, and the other halfe followed Omri.
21 Então o povo de Israel se dividiu em dois partidos: metade do povo seguia Tibni, filho de Ginate, para o fazer rei, e a outra metade seguia Onri.
22 But the people that folowed Omri, preuayled against the people that followed Tibni the sonne of Ginath: so Tibni dyed, and Omri reigned.
22 Mas o povo que seguia Onri prevaleceu contra o que seguia Tibni, filho de Ginate. Tibni morreu, e Onri passou a reinar.
23 In the one and thirtie yeere of Asa King of Iudah bega Omri to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned twelue yeere. Sixe yeere reigned he in Tirzah.
23 No trigésimo primeiro ano do reinado de Asa, rei de Judá, Onri começou a reinar sobre Israel e reinou doze anos. Em Tirza, reinou seis anos.
24 And he bought the mountaine Samaria of one Shemer for two talents of siluer, and buylt in the mountaine, and called the name of the citie, which he buylt, after the name of Shemer lord of the mountaine, Samaria.
24 De Semer ele comprou o monte de Samaria por sessenta e oito quilos de prata e o fortificou. E à cidade que edificou sobre o monte chamou de Samaria, nome oriundo de Semer, dono do monte.
25 But Omri did euil in the eyes of the Lord, and did worse then all that were before him.
25 Onri fez o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor ; fez pior do que todos os reis que vieram antes dele.
26 For he walked in all the way of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and in his sinnes wherewith he made Israel to sinne in prouoking the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.
26 Andou em todos os caminhos de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, bem como nos pecados que este levou Israel a cometer, irritando o Senhor , Deus de Israel, com os seus ídolos.
27 And the rest of the actes of Omri, that hee did, and his strength that he shewed, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
27 Quanto aos demais atos de Onri, ao que fez e ao poder que manifestou, não está tudo escrito no Livro da História dos Reis de Israel?
28 And Omri slept with his fathers, and was buryed in Samaria: and Ahab his sonne reigned in his stead.
28 Onri morreu e foi sepultado em Samaria. E Acabe, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
29 Nowe Ahab the sonne of Omri began to reigne ouer Israel, in the eyght and thirtie yeere of Asa king of Iudah: and Ahab the sonne of Omri reigned ouer Israel in Samaria two and twenty yere.
29 Acabe, filho de Onri, começou a reinar sobre Israel no trigésimo oitavo ano do reinado de Asa, rei de Judá. E Acabe, filho de Onri, reinou sobre Israel, em Samaria, vinte e dois anos.
30 And Ahab the sonne of Omri did worse in ye sight of the Lord then al that were before him.
30 Acabe, filho de Onri, fez o que era mau aos olhos do Senhor , mais do que todos os reis que vieram antes dele.
31 For was it a light thing for him to walke in the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, except hee tooke Iezebel also the daughter of Ethbaal King of the Zidonians to wife, and went and serued Baal, and worshipped him?
31 Como se fosse pouca coisa andar nos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, Acabe foi mais longe e tomou por mulher Jezabel, filha de Etbaal, rei dos sidônios; e foi, serviu Baal e o adorou.
32 Also he reared vp an altar to Baal in the house of Baal, which he had buylt in Samaria.
32 Levantou um altar a Baal, no templo de Baal que tinha edificado em Samaria.
33 And Ahab made a groue, and Ahab proceeded, and did prouoke the Lord God of Israel more then all the kings of Israel that were before him.
33 Acabe fez também um poste da deusa Aserá, de maneira que cometeu mais abominações para irritar o Senhor , Deus de Israel, do que todos os reis de Israel que vieram antes dele.
34 In his dayes did Hiel the Bethelite buylde Iericho: he layed the foundation thereof in Abiram his eldest sonne, and set vp the gates thereof in his yongest sonne Segub, according to the worde of the Lord which he spake by Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
34 Em seus dias, Hiel, o betelita, edificou Jericó. Quando ele lançou os alicerces da cidade, morreu Abirão, seu filho primogênito; e, quando colocou os portões, morreu Segube, seu filho mais novo, segundo a palavra do Senhor , anunciada por meio de Josué, filho de Num.
