1 Then the word of the Lord came to Iehu the sonne of Hanani against Baasha, saying,
1 Então, a palavra do SENHOR veio a Jeú, o filho de Hanani, contra Baasa, dizendo:
2 Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee captaine ouer my people Israel, and thou hast walked in the way of Ieroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sinne, to prouoke me with their sinnes,
2 Porquanto te exaltei do pó, e fiz de ti príncipe sobre o meu povo Israel; e tens andado no caminho de Jeroboão, e feito o meu povo, Israel, pecar para me provocar à ira com os seus pecados;
3 Beholde, I will take away the posteritie of Baasha, and the posteritie of his house, and will make thine house like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat.
3 eis que removerei a posteridade de Baasa, e a posteridade da sua casa; e farei da tua casa como a casa de Jeroboão, o filho de Nebate.
4 He that dyeth of Baashas stocke in the citie, him shall the dogs eate: and that man of him which dyeth in the fieldes, shall the foules of the ayre eate.
4 Quem morrer dos de Baasa na cidade, os cães comerão; e aquele que morrer nos campos, as aves do céu comerão.
5 And the rest of the actes of Baasha and what he did, and his power, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?
5 Ora, o restante dos atos de Baasa, e o que ele fez, e o seu poder, não estão escritos no livro das Crônicas dos reis de Israel?
6 So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buryed in Tirzah, and Elah his sonne reigned in his steade.
6 Assim, Baasa dormiu com os seus pais, e foi sepultado em Tirza; e Elá, o seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
7 And also by the hande of Iehu the sonne of Hanani the Prophet, came the worde of the Lord to Baasha, and to his house, that he shoulde be like the house of Ieroboam, euen for all the wickednes that he did in the sight of the Lord, in prouoking him with the worke of his hands, and because he killed him.
7 E também pela mão do profeta Jeú, o filho de Hanani, veio a palavra do SENHOR contra Baasa, e contra a sua casa, justamente por todo o mal que ele fez à vista do SENHOR, ao provocá-lo à ira com a obra das suas mãos, ao ser semelhante à casa de Jeroboão; e porque ele o matou.
8 In the sixe and twentie yeere of Asa king of Iudah began Elah ye sonne of Baasha to reigne ouer Israel in Tirzah, and reigned two yeere.
8 No vigésimo sexto ano de Asa, rei de Judá, Elá, o filho de Baasa, começou a reinar sobre Israel em Tirza, dois anos.
9 And his seruant Zimri, captaine of halfe his charets, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah drinking, til he was drunken in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
9 E conspirou contra ele o seu servo Zinri, capitão da metade das suas carruagens, e ele estava em Tirza, embriagando-se na casa de Arsa, o mordomo da sua casa em Tirza.
10 And Zimri came and smote him and killed him, in the seuen and twentie yeere of Asa king of Iudah, and reigned in his stead.
10 E entrou Zinri e o feriu, e o matou, no vigésimo sétimo ano de Asa, rei de Judá, e reinou em seu lugar.
11 And when he was King, and sate on his throne, he slew al the house of Baasha, not leauing thereof one to pisse against a wall, neither of his kinsfolkes nor of his friendes.
11 E sucedeu que, quando ele começou a reinar, tão logo se assentou no seu trono, ele matou toda a casa de Baasa; não lhe deixou nenhum que mija contra a parede, nem da sua parentela, nem dos seus amigos.
12 So did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the Lord which he spake against Baasha by the hande of Iehu the Prophet,
12 Assim, Zinri destruiu toda a casa de Baasa, de acordo com a palavra do SENHOR, a qual ele falou contra Baasa por intermédio de Jeú, o profeta,
13 For all the sinnes of Baasha, and sinnes of Elah his sonne, which they sinned and made Israel to sinne, and prouoked the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.
13 por todos os pecados de Baasa, e os pecados de Elá, o seu filho, pelos quais eles pecaram, e pelos quais ele fez Israel pecar, ao provocar o SENHOR Deus de Israel à ira com as suas vaidades.
14 And the rest of the actes of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
14 Ora, o restante dos atos de Elá, e tudo o que ele fez, não estão escritos no livro das Crônicas dos reis de Israel?
15 In the seuen and twentie yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Zimri reigne seuen dayes in Tirzah, and the people was then in campe against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims.
15 No vigésimo sétimo ano de Asa, rei de Judá, reinou Zinri sete dias em Tirza. E o povo estava acampado contra Gibetom, a qual pertencia aos filisteus.
16 And the people of the hoste heard saye, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slayne the King. Wherefore all Israel made Omri the captaine of the hoste, king ouer Israel that same day, euen in the hoste.
16 E o povo que estava acampado ouviu dizer: Zinri conspirou, e também matou o rei; porquanto todo o Israel fez de Onri, o capitão do exército, rei sobre Israel naquele dia, no acampamento.
17 Then Omri went vp from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
17 E Onri subiu de Gibetom, e todo o Israel com ele, e cercaram Tirza.
18 And when Zimri saw, that the citie was taken, he went into the palace of the Kings house, and burnt himselfe, and the Kings house with fire, and so dyed,
18 E sucedeu, quando Zinri viu que a cidade estava tomada, que ele adentrou ao palácio da casa do rei, e queimou a casa do rei em cima dele com fogo, e morreu,
19 For his sinnes which hee sinned, in doing that which is euil in the sight of the Lord, in walking in the way of Ieroboam, and in his sinnes which he did, causing Israel to sinne.
19 por causa dos pecados que cometera ao fazer o mal à vista do SENHOR, ao andar no caminho de Jeroboão, e no pecado que cometeu, ao fazer Israel pecar.
20 And the rest of the actes of Zimri, and his treason that hee wrought, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kinges of Israel?
20 Ora, o restante dos atos de Zinri, e a traição que ele cometeu, não estão escritos no livro das Crônicas dos reis de Israel?
21 Then were the people of Israel deuided into two partes: for halfe the people followed Tibni the sonne of Ginath to make him King, and the other halfe followed Omri.
21 Depois, o povo de Israel foi dividido em duas partes; metade do povo seguiu Tibni, o filho de Ginate, para fazê-lo rei; e metade seguiu Onri.
22 But the people that folowed Omri, preuayled against the people that followed Tibni the sonne of Ginath: so Tibni dyed, and Omri reigned.
22 Todavia, o povo que seguiu Onri prevaleceu contra o povo que seguiu Tibni, o filho de Ginate; assim, Tibni morreu e Onri reinou.
23 In the one and thirtie yeere of Asa King of Iudah bega Omri to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned twelue yeere. Sixe yeere reigned he in Tirzah.
23 No trigésimo primeiro ano de Asa, rei de Judá, Onri começou a reinar sobre Israel, vinte anos; seis anos reinou ele em Tirza.
24 And he bought the mountaine Samaria of one Shemer for two talents of siluer, and buylt in the mountaine, and called the name of the citie, which he buylt, after the name of Shemer lord of the mountaine, Samaria.
24 E ele comprou de Semer o outeiro de Samaria por dois talentos de prata, e edificou no outeiro, e chamou o nome da cidade, a qual ele edificou, Samaria, segundo o nome de Semer, proprietário do outeiro.
25 But Omri did euil in the eyes of the Lord, and did worse then all that were before him.
25 Onri, porém, operou o mal aos olhos do SENHOR, e fez pior do que todos os que estiveram antes dele.
26 For he walked in all the way of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and in his sinnes wherewith he made Israel to sinne in prouoking the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.
26 Porquanto ele andou em todos os caminhos de Jeroboão, o filho de Nebate, e no seu pecado, com o qual fez Israel pecar, para provocar o SENHOR Deus de Israel à ira com as suas vaidades.
27 And the rest of the actes of Omri, that hee did, and his strength that he shewed, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
27 Ora, o restante dos atos de Onri, os quais ele fez, e o seu poder que ele mostrou, não estão escritos no livro das Crônicas dos reis de Israel?
28 And Omri slept with his fathers, and was buryed in Samaria: and Ahab his sonne reigned in his stead.
28 Assim, Onri dormiu com os seus pais, e foi sepultado em Samaria; e Acabe, o seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
29 Nowe Ahab the sonne of Omri began to reigne ouer Israel, in the eyght and thirtie yeere of Asa king of Iudah: and Ahab the sonne of Omri reigned ouer Israel in Samaria two and twenty yere.
29 E no trigésimo oitavo ano de Asa, rei de Judá, Acabe, o filho de Onri, começou a reinar sobre Israel; e Acabe, o filho de Onri, reinou sobre Israel em Samaria vinte e dois anos.
30 And Ahab the sonne of Omri did worse in ye sight of the Lord then al that were before him.
30 E Acabe, o filho de Onri, fez o mal à vista do SENHOR mais do que todos os que foram antes dele.
31 For was it a light thing for him to walke in the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, except hee tooke Iezebel also the daughter of Ethbaal King of the Zidonians to wife, and went and serued Baal, and worshipped him?
31 E sucedeu, como se fora pouco andar nos pecados de Jeroboão, o filho de Nebate, que ele tomou por esposa Jezabel, a filha de Etbaal, rei dos sidônios, e foi servir a Baal, e o adorou.
32 Also he reared vp an altar to Baal in the house of Baal, which he had buylt in Samaria.
32 E ele ergueu um altar para Baal na casa de Baal, a qual havia edificado em Samaria.
33 And Ahab made a groue, and Ahab proceeded, and did prouoke the Lord God of Israel more then all the kings of Israel that were before him.
33 E Acabe fez um bosque; e Acabe fez mais do que todos os reis de Israel que foram antes dele para provocar o SENHOR Deus de Israel à ira.
34 In his dayes did Hiel the Bethelite buylde Iericho: he layed the foundation thereof in Abiram his eldest sonne, and set vp the gates thereof in his yongest sonne Segub, according to the worde of the Lord which he spake by Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
34 Nos seus dias, Hiel, o betelita edificou Jericó; ele lançou a sua fundação em Abirão, o seu primogênito, e colocou os seus portões em seu filho mais moço, Segube, segundo a palavra do SENHOR, a qual ele falou por Josué, o filho de Num.
