1 But Jeshu six days before the petscha came to Bethania, where Loozar was, he whom Jeshu had raised from among the dead.
1 Seis dias antes da Páscoa, veio Jesus a Betânia, onde estava Lázaro, o que estivera morto, e a quem ele ressuscitara dos mortos.
2 And they made him there a supper and Martha served, and Loozar was one of those who reclined with him.
2 Fizeram-lhe ali uma ceia, e Marta servia, mas Lázaro era um dos que estavam à mesa com ele.
3 But Mariam took a vase of balsam of the finest nard, great in price, and anointed the feet of Jeshu, and wiped with her hair his feet, and the house was filled with the fragrance of the balsam.
3 Então, Maria, tomando uma libra de unguento de nardo puro, caríssimo, ungiu os pés de Jesus, e limpou os pés com os seus cabelos; e a casa se encheu com o cheiro do unguento.
4 And Jihuda Scarjuta, one of his disciples, he who would betray him said,
4 Então, disse um dos seus discípulos, Judas Iscariotes, filho de Simão, aquele que o havia de trair:
5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred dinoreen, and given to the poor?
5 Por que não se vendeu este unguento por trezentos denários, e não se deu aos pobres?
6 But this he said, not because for the poor he had care, but because he was a thief, and the purse was with him, and whatever fell into it he carried.
6 Então ele disse isso não pelo cuidado que tivesse dos pobres, mas porque era ladrão, e tinha a bolsa, e subtraía o que nela foi colocado.
7 But Jeshu said, Let her alone. For the day of my burial had she kept it.
7 Disse, pois, Jesus: Deixe-a sozinha! Para o dia do meu sepultamento o tem guardado.
8 In all time the poor you have with you; but me you have not at all time.
8 Porque os pobres sempre os tendes convosco, mas a mim nem sempre me tendes.
9 And a great company of Jihudoyee who were there heard Jeshu. And they had come not on Jeshu's account only, but also to see Loozar, he whom he had raised from among the dead.
9 Portanto, muita gente dos judeus soube que ele estava ali; e eles foram, não só por causa de Jesus, mas também para ver a Lázaro, a quem ele ressuscitara dos mortos.
10 But the chief priests were minded to slay Loozar also,
10 Mas os principais sacerdotes consultaram como poderiam também matar a Lázaro,
11 because many of the Jihudoyee on account of him had gone and believed in Jeshu.
11 porque por causa dele muitos dos judeus se afastaram, e creram em Jesus.
12 THE day after, a great gathering of those who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jeshu was coming to Urishlem,
12 No dia seguinte, a grande multidão que tinha vindo à festa, ouvindo dizer que Jesus vinha a Jerusalém,
13 took branches of palms, and went forth to meet him. And they cried out, saying, Aushana! Blessed is he who cometh in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.
13 tomaram ramos de palmeiras, e saíram-lhe ao encontro, e clamavam: Hosana! Abençoado é o Rei de Israel que vem em nome do Senhor.
14 And Jeshu caused to be found an ass, and sat upon him; as it is written,
14 E Jesus, tendo encontrado um jumentinho, assentou-se sobre ele, como está escrito:
15 Fear not, daughter of Tseun: behold, thy King cometh to thee, and riding on a colt, the foal of an ass.
15 Não temas, filha de Sião; eis que o teu Rei vem, assentado sobre um potro de jumenta.
16 But these the disciples knew not at that time; but when Jeshu was glorified, the disciples remembered that these were written concerning him, and (that) these (things) they had done unto him.
16 Os seus discípulos, porém, a princípio não entenderam essas coisas; mas, quando Jesus foi glorificado, então eles se lembraram de que estas coisas estavam escritas a respeito dele, e que eles tinham feito essas coisas para ele.
17 But the assembly that was with him when he called Loozar from the sepulchre, and raised him from among the dead, bare witness.
17 A multidão, pois, que estava com ele quando chamou a Lázaro para fora da sepultura, testemunhava que ele o ressuscitara dos mortos.
18 And on account of this, great multitudes went forth to receive him; for they had heard that this sign he had done.
18 Por causa disso, também a multidão lhe saiu ao encontro, porque eles tinham ouvido que ele fizera este milagre.
19 But the Pharishee said one to another, See you that you do not profit any thing! For, behold, the whole world is gone after him.
19 Disseram, então, os fariseus entre si: Percebestes que nada conseguis fazer? Eis que o mundo vai após ele.
20 Now there were also from the Gentiles men who had ascended to worship at the feast.
20 E havia alguns gregos entre os que tinham subido para adorar na festa;
21 These came and drew near to Philipos, who was of Beth-tsaida of Galila; and they requested of him, and said to him, Mari, we desire to see Jeshu.
21 estes, pois, vieram a Filipe, que era de Betsaida da Galileia, e rogaram-lhe, dizendo: Senhor, queríamos ver a Jesus.
22 And Philipos came and told Andreas, and Andreas and Philipos told Jeshu.
22 Filipe veio e contou para André; e novamente André e Filipe disseram a Jesus.
23 BUT Jeshu answered and said to them, The hour hath come that the Son of man may be glorified.
23 E Jesus lhes respondeu, dizendo: É chegada a hora em que o Filho do homem será glorificado.
24 Amen, amen, I say to you, That a grain of wheat if it fall not and die in the earth remaineth alone; but if it die, it bringeth much fruits.
24 Na verdade, na verdade eu vos digo: Se o grão de trigo, caindo na terra, não morrer, permanece só; mas, se morrer, dá muito fruto.
25 He who loveth his life shall lose it; and he who hateth his life in this world shall keep it to the life which is eternal.
25 Quem ama a sua vida perdê-la-á, e quem neste mundo odeia a sua vida, guardá-la-á para a vida eterna.
26 If any man serve me, let him come after me; and where I am, there shall be also my servant: whoever serveth me, him will my Father honour.
26 Se algum homem me serve, siga-me; e onde eu estiver, ali estará também o meu servo; se algum homem me servir, meu Pai o honrará.
27 Now my soul, behold it is commoved; and what shall I say? My Father, deliver me from this hour:
27 Agora a minha alma está perturbada; e que direi eu? Pai, salva-me desta hora; mas para esta hora é que eu vim.
28 but on account of this have I come unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. And the voice was heard from heaven, I have glorified, and again I glorify.
28 Pai, glorifica o teu nome. Então, veio uma voz do céu, dizendo: Eu já o tenho glorificado, e novamente o glorificarei.
29 And the company who stood, heard, and they said there was thunder. But others said, An angel spake with him.
29 A multidão, pois, que ali estava e que a ouvira, dizia ter sido um trovão; outros diziam: Um anjo lhe falou.
30 Jeshu answered and said to them, Not on my account was this voice, but on your account.
30 Jesus respondeu e disse: Não veio esta voz por minha causa, mas por causa de vós.
31 Now is the judgment of this world; now is the ruler of this world cast out.
31 Agora é o juízo deste mundo; agora será expulso o príncipe deste mundo.
32 And I, when I have been lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
32 E eu, quando for levantado da terra, todos os homens atrairei a mim.
33 But this he said to show by what death he should die.
33 E dizia isto, significando de que morte ele deveria morrer.
34 The people said to him, We have heard from the law that the Meshicha for ever abideth: how sayest thou that the Son of man is to be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?
34 Respondeu-lhe a multidão: Nós temos ouvido da lei que o Cristo permanece para sempre; e como dizes tu: É necessário que o Filho do homem seja levantado? Quem é esse Filho do homem?
35 Jeshu saith to them, A little further time is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, that the darkness overtake you not. And whoever walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
35 Então, Jesus disse-lhes: Ainda por um pouco de tempo a luz está convosco. Andai enquanto tendes luz, para que as trevas não venham sobre vós, pois quem anda nas trevas não sabe para onde vai.
36 While you have the light, believe in the light, that the sons of light you may become. These spake Jeshu, and went (and) concealed himself from them.
36 Enquanto tendes luz, crede na luz, para que sejais filhos da luz. Essas coisas disse Jesus e retirou-se, escondendo-se deles.
37 Yet though all these signs he had done before them, they believed not in him:
37 Mas, apesar de ter feito tantos milagres diante deles, não criam nele;
38 that the word of the prophet Eshaia might be fulfilled, who said, My Lord, who hath believed our report, And the arm of the Lord, to whom hath it been revealed?
38 para que se cumprisse a palavra do profeta Isaías, que diz: Senhor, quem tem acreditado em nosso relato? E a quem foi revelado o braço do Senhor?
39 Because of this they were not able to believe: Wherefore again Eshaia had said,
39 Por isso, eles não podiam crer, pelo que Isaías disse outra vez:
40 He hath blinded their eyes, And darkened their heart, That they should not see with their eyes, And understand with their heart, And be turned, and I should heal them.
40 Ele cegou-lhes os olhos, e endureceu-lhes o coração, para que eles não vejam com seus olhos, nem compreendam no seu coração, e se convertam, e eu os cure.
41 These said Eshaia when he saw his glory, and spake concerning him.
41 Essas coisas disse Isaías quando ele viu a sua glória, e dele falou.
42 Yet of the chiefs also many believed in him: but because of the Pharishee they did not confess, that they might not be put out of the synagogue:
42 Contudo, muitos dentre os principais governantes creram nele; mas por causa dos fariseus não o confessavam, para não serem colocados para fora da sinagoga;
43 for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of Aloha.
43 porque eles amavam mais a glória dos homens do que a glória de Deus.
44 But Jeshu cried and said, He who believeth in me, believeth not in me, but in him who sent me.
44 Jesus clamou e disse: Quem crê em mim, crê, não em mim, mas naquele que me enviou.
45 And he who seeth me seeth him who sent me.
45 E quem me vê, vê aquele que me enviou.
46 I the light am come into the world, that every one who believeth in me might not abide in darkness.
46 Eu vim como luz para o mundo, para que todo aquele que crê em mim não permaneça nas trevas.
47 And he who heareth my words, and doth not keep them, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
47 E se algum homem ouvir as minhas palavras, e não crer, eu não o julgo; porque eu não vim para julgar o mundo, mas para salvar o mundo.
48 He who rejecteth me, and receiveth not my word, hath that which judgeth him: the word which I speak, that judgeth him in the last day.
48 Quem me rejeitar, e não receber as minhas palavras, já tem quem o julgue; a palavra que eu tenho falado, essa o julgará no último dia.
49 For I of myself have not spoken, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
49 Porque eu não tenho falado de mim mesmo, mas o Pai, que me enviou, ele me deu um mandamento quanto ao que dizer e como falar.
50 And I know that his commandments are life everlasting: these therefore which I speak, as said to me my Father, so I speak.
50 E sei que o seu mandamento é vida eterna; portanto, as coisas que eu digo, conforme me disse o Pai, assim eu digo.
