1 But the sum of them all (is)---We have a High Priest who hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven;
1 Ora, o essencial das coisas que estamos dizendo é que temos tal sumo sacerdote, que se assentou à direita do trono da Majestade nos céus,
2 and who hath become a Minister of the holy place, and of the true tabernacle, which Aloha hath framed, and not man.
2 como ministro do santuário e do verdadeiro tabernáculo que o Senhor erigiu, e não o homem.
3 And every high priest is appointed to offer oblations and victims: hence it was right that this one should also have that which he might offer.
3 Pois todo sumo sacerdote é constituído para oferecer dons e sacrifícios; por isso, era necessário que também esse sumo sacerdote tivesse o que oferecer.
4 But were he upon the earth, he would not be a priest, because there were priests who offered oblations as by the law;
4 Se ele estivesse na terra, nem mesmo sacerdote seria, visto existirem aqueles que oferecem os dons segundo a lei.
5 they, (namely,) who minister at an emblem and shadow of those (things) that are in heaven. As it was said unto Musha when he made the tabernacle, See and make every thing according to the pattern which was showed to thee in the mountain.
5 Estes ministram em figura e sombra das coisas celestiais, assim como Moisés foi divinamente instruído, quando estava para construir o tabernáculo. Pois Deus disse: “Tenha cuidado para fazer tudo de acordo com o modelo que foi mostrado a você no monte.”
6 But now a ministry which is better than that hath Jeshu Meshiha received, by so much as that covenant of which he is made the Mediator is better, and was given with better promises, than that.
6 Mas agora Jesus obteve um ministério tanto mais excelente, quanto é também Mediador de superior aliança instituída com base em superiores promessas.
7 For if the first covenant had been faultless, no place had there been for this second.
7 Porque, se aquela primeira aliança tivesse sido sem defeito, de maneira alguma estaria sendo buscado lugar para uma segunda aliança.
8 For reprehending them he saith, Behold, the days are coming, saith the Lord, and I will complete with the family of the house of Israel, and with the family of the house of Jihuda,
8 E, de fato, repreendendo-os, diz: “Eis aí vêm dias, diz o Senhor, e firmarei nova aliança com a casa de Israel e com a casa de Judá,
9 THE NEW COVENANT: not as was that covenant which I gave to their fathers in the day that I took them by their hand, and led them from the land of Metsreen; because they did not persevere in my covenant, therefore I have neglected them, saith the Lord.
9 não segundo a aliança que fiz com os seus pais, no dia em que os tomei pela mão, para os tirar da terra do Egito; pois eles não continuaram na minha aliança, e eu não dei atenção a eles, diz o Senhor.
10 But this is the covenant that I will give to the family of the house of Israel after these days, saith the Lord: I will in-give my law in their minds, and upon their hearts will I inscribe it; and I will be to them, even I, Aloha, and they shall be unto me the people:
10 Porque esta é a aliança que farei com a casa de Israel, depois daqueles dias, diz o Senhor: Imprimirei as minhas leis na mente deles e as inscreverei sobre o seu coração; e eu serei o seu Deus, e eles serão o meu povo.
11 and no man shall (have need to) teach the son of his city, nor his brother, and say, Know the Lord; because all shall know me, from the least of them to the eldest of them.
11 E não ensinará jamais cada um ao seu próximo, nem cada um ao seu irmão, dizendo: ‘Conheça o Senhor’; porque todos me conhecerão, desde o menor até o maior deles.
12 And I will purify them from their unrighteousness, and their sins again will I not remember unto them.
12 Pois, para com as suas iniquidades, usarei de misericórdia e dos seus pecados jamais me lembrarei.”
13 In that he said, THE NEW, he hath made the former old: and that which is antiquated, and hath grown old, is nigh unto decay.
13 Quando ele diz “nova aliança”, torna antiquada a primeira. Ora, aquilo que se torna antiquado e envelhecido está prestes a desaparecer.
