Gálatas 6

1 My brethren, if a man of you be overtaken by a fault, you who are in the Spirit, regain him, in the spirit of meekness, and beware lest you also be tempted.
1 Meus irmãos, se alguém for apanhado em alguma falta, vocês que são espirituais devem ajudar essa pessoa a se corrigir. Mas façam isso com humildade e tenham cuidado para que vocês não sejam tentados também.
2 And bear the burden of one another, and so fulfil the law of the Meshiha.
2 Ajudem uns aos outros e assim vocês estarão obedecendo à lei de Cristo.
3 For if a man consider that he is something, while he is not, he deceiveth himself.
3 A pessoa que pensa que é importante, quando, de fato, não é, está enganando a si mesma.
4 But let every man prove his work, and then in himself he shall exult, and not in others.
4 Que cada pessoa examine o seu próprio modo de agir! Se ele for bom, então a pessoa pode se orgulhar do que fez, sem precisar comparar o seu modo de agir com o dos outros.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
5 Porque cada pessoa deve carregar a sua própria carga.
6 But let him who heareth the word, communicate to him from whom he heareth it, in all good things.
6 A pessoa que está aprendendo o evangelho de Cristo deve repartir todas as suas coisas boas com quem a estiver ensinando.
7 Do not err. Aloha is not mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that he reapeth.
7 Não se enganem: ninguém zomba de Deus. O que uma pessoa plantar, é isso mesmo que colherá.
8 He who in the flesh soweth, from the flesh corruption reapeth; and he who in the Spirit soweth, from the Spirit the life that is eternal shall reap.
8 Se plantar no terreno da sua natureza humana, desse terreno colherá a morte. Porém, se plantar no terreno do Espírito de Deus, desse terreno colherá a vida eterna.
9 And while we do that which is good, let it not weary us; for the time will be when we shall reap, and it will not weary us.
9 Não nos cansemos de fazer o bem. Pois, se não desanimarmos, chegará o tempo certo em que faremos a colheita.
10 Now, therefore, while the time is ours, let us do good unto every man, and especially to the sons of the house of the faith.
10 Portanto, sempre que pudermos, devemos fazer o bem a todos, especialmente aos que fazem parte da nossa família na fé.
11 You see these letters which I have written to you with my hands.
11 Vejam as letras grandes que estou escrevendo com a minha própria mão!
12 They who would glory in the flesh would constrain you to be circumcised; only lest for the cross of the Meshiha they might be persecuted.
12 Os que estão forçando vocês a se circuncidarem são pessoas que querem ficar orgulhosas de coisas de pouca importância. Eles fazem isso somente para não serem perseguidos por causa da cruz de Cristo.
13 For neither do these who are circumcised keep the law; but they will that you be circumcised, that in your flesh they may glory.
13 Pois nem mesmo os que praticam a circuncisão obedecem à lei . Porém eles querem que vocês se circuncidem para que eles possam se gabar de terem colocado o sinal da circuncisão no corpo de vocês.
14 But to me let it not be that I shall glory except in the cross of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, by which the world is crucified unto me, and I am crucified to the world.
14 Mas eu me orgulharei somente da cruz do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. Pois, por meio da cruz, o mundo está morto para mim, e eu estou morto para o mundo.
15 For circumcision is not any thing, nor uncircumcision, but the new creature.
15 Não faz nenhuma diferença se o homem é circuncidado ou não; o importante é que ele seja uma nova pessoa.
16 And they who this pathway accomplish, peace be upon them and mercy, and upon the Israel of Aloha.
16 E, para todos os que seguem essa regra na sua vida, que a paz e a misericórdia estejam com eles e com todo o povo de Deus!
17 Henceforth upon me let no man throw a burden; for the signatures of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha in my body I bear.
17 Para terminar: que mais ninguém crie dificuldades para mim, pois as marcas no meu corpo mostram que sou escravo de Jesus.
18 The grace of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha be with your spirit, my brethren. Amen.
18 Que a graça do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com todos vocês, meus irmãos! Amém !
