1 And the lot, either part, of the sons of Joseph felled from (the) Jordan against Jericho, and to the waters thereof, from the east; (that) is, (to) the wilderness, that goeth up from Jericho to the hill of Bethel,
1 E a sorte dos filhos de José caiu, desde o Jordão, junto a Jericó, até as águas de Jericó a leste, até o deserto que vai desde Jericó através do monte Betel,
2 and it goeth out from Bethel into Luz, and it passeth the term of Archi (to) Ataroth, (and it goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and then it passeth the border of the Archites at Atarothaddar,)
2 e sai de Betel até Luz, e passa até os limites dos arquitas, até Atarote,
3 and it goeth down to the west, beside the term of Japhleti, unto the terms of the lower Bethhoron, and of Gezer; and the countries thereof be ended with the great sea, (and it goeth down to the west, beside the border of the Japhletites, unto the border of Lower Bethhoron, and Gezer; and their land endeth at the Mediterranean Sea,)
3 e desce, em direção oeste, até a costa de Jaflete, até a costa inferior de Bete-Horom, e a Gezer; e as suas saídas ficavam no mar.
4 which countries Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons of Joseph, wielded. (which \+em lands\+em* the tribes of western Manasseh and of Ephraim, the sons of Joseph, took.)
4 Assim, os filhos de José, Manassés e Efraim, assumiram a sua herança.
5 And the term of the sons of Ephraim, by their families, and the possession of them was made against the east, (from) Atarothaddar till to the higher Bethhoron. (And the border of the possession of the sons of Ephraim, by their families, on the east, went from Atarothaddar unto Upper Bethhoron.)
5 E o limite dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias, foi assim: o limite da sua herança no lado leste era Atarote-Adar, até a alta Bete-Horom;
6 And the coasts go out into the sea; for Michmethah beholdeth the north, and it compasseth the terms against the east in Taanathshiloh, and it passeth from the strand of Janohah; (And then the border goeth out to the west, to Michmethah in the north, and then out to the east of Taanathshiloh, and passeth by it on the east to Janohah;)
6 e o limite saía em direção ao mar, até Micmetate, no lado norte; e o limite seguia na direção leste até Taanate-Siló, e passava por ela a leste em direção a Janoa;
7 and it goeth down from Janohah into Ataroth(addar), and into Naarath, and it cometh into Jericho; and it goeth out to (the) Jordan(;)
7 e ele descia de Janoa a Atarote, e a Naarate, e vinha até Jericó, e saía até o Jordão.
8 (and it goeth forth) from Tappuah, and passeth against the sea into the valley of the place of reeds; and the goings out thereof be unto the saltiest sea. This is the possession [of the lineage] of the sons of Ephraim, by their families; (and from Tappuah it goeth west by the Kanah River; and its end, \+em or its limit\+em*, is the Mediterranean Sea. This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, by their families;)
8 O limite saía de Tapua, em direção oeste, até o rio Caná; e as suas saídas ficavam no mar. Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias.
9 and the cities and the towns of those be separated to the sons of Ephraim, in the midst of the possession of the sons of Manasseh.
9 E as cidades separadas para os filhos de Efraim ficavam no meio da herança dos filhos de Manassés, todas as cidades com as suas aldeias.
10 And the sons of Ephraim killed not Canaanites, that dwelled in Gezer; and Canaanites dwelled (as a) tributary in the midst of Ephraim till to this day. (And the sons of Ephraim did not kill the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; and so the Canaanites live as tributaries in the midst of the Ephraimites unto this present day or and so the Canaanites live in the midst of the Ephraimites, and pay them tribute, \+em or taxes\+em*, unto this present day.)
10 E eles não expulsaram os cananeus que habitavam em Gezer; mas os cananeus habitam no meio dos efraimitas até este dia, e servem sob tributo.
