1 The forsaken Judah and (the place) without (a) way shall be glad, and [the] wilderness shall make full out joy, and shall flower as a lily. (The deserted \+em Judah\+em* and the place without a way shall be happy, and the desert shall rejoice, and shall flower like a lily.)
1 As regiões desabitadas e o deserto exultarão; a terra desolada se alegrará e florescerá como o açafrão.
2 It burgeoning shall burgeon, and it glad and praising shall make full out joy. The glory of Lebanon is given to it, the fairness of Carmel and of Sharon; they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the fairness of our God.
2 Haverá muitas flores, cânticos e alegria! Os desertos se tornarão verdes como os montes do Líbano, belos como o monte Carmelo e a planície de Sarom. Ali o S o esplendor de nosso Deus.
3 Comfort ye [the] clumsid hands (or Strengthen ye the benumbed hands), and make ye strong [the] feeble knees.
3 Fortaleçam os de mãos cansadas, apoiem os de joelhos fracos.
4 Say ye, Men of little comfort, be ye comforted, and do not ye dread; lo! our God shall bring the vengeance of yielding, God himself shall come, and shall save us. (Say ye, People of little courage, be ye strengthened, and do not ye fear; behold! our God shall bring the vengeance of punishment, \+em (or of retribution)\+em*, God himself shall come, and shall save us.)
4 Digam aos de coração temeroso: “Sejam fortes e não temam, pois seu Deus vem para vingar-se de seus inimigos; ele vem para salvá-los”.
5 Then the eyes of blind men shall be opened, and the ears of deaf men shall be open(ed). (Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be opened.)
5 Quando ele vier, abrirá os olhos dos cegos e os ouvidos dos surdos.
6 Then a crooked man shall skip as an hart, and the tongue of dumb men shall be opened, (or Then the lame shall skip like a hart, and the tongues of the dumb shall be loosened, \+em or shall be freed\+em*); for why waters be broken out in (the) desert, and streams in (the) wilderness.
6 Os aleijados pularão como o cervo, e os mudos cantarão de alegria. Fontes brotarão no deserto, e rios correrão na região desolada.
7 And that that was dry, is made into a pond, and the thirsty is made into wells of waters. [The] Greenness of [the] reed, and of [the] spire shall grow in [the] dens, in which dwelled dragons before (or where jackals lived before).
7 O solo ressecado se tornará um açude, e a terra sedenta, mananciais de água. O capim, a cana e o junco florescerão onde antes viviam os chacais do deserto.
8 And a path and a way shall be there, and it shall be called an holy way, (and) he that is defouled shall not pass thereby; and this shall be a straight way to you, so that fools err not thereby. (And a path and a way shall be there, and it shall be called a holy way, and he who is defiled shall not go along it; yea, it shall be a strait, \+em or a narrow\+em*, way for you, but fools cannot stray there.)
8 Um caminho largo atravessará a terra antes desabitada e será chamado Caminho de Santidade; os impuros jamais passarão por ele. Será somente para os que andam nos caminhos de Deus; os tolos jamais andarão por ele.
9 A lion shall not be there, and an evil beast shall not ascend thereby, neither shall be found there. And they shall go, that be delivered, (or But they who be rescued, shall go there);
9 Ao longo desse trajeto, leões não ficarão à espreita, nem qualquer outro animal feroz. Não haverá nenhum perigo; somente os redimidos andarão por ele.
10 and (those) again-bought of the Lord; and they shall be converted, and shall come into Zion with praising, (or and those bought back, \+em or redeemed\+em*, by the Lord, shall return, and shall come into Zion with praising); and everlasting gladness shall be on the head(s) of them; they shall have joy and gladness, and sorrow and wailing shall flee away.
10 Os que foram resgatados pelo S enhor voltarão; entrarão cantando em Sião, coroados com alegria sem fim. A tristeza e o lamento desaparecerão, e eles ficarão cheios de alegria e felicidade.
