1 Certa vez, quando a multidão apertava Jesus para ouvir a palavra de Deus, ele estava junto ao lago de Genezaré;

3 Entrando ele num dos barcos, que era o de Simão, pediu-lhe que o afastasse um pouco da terra; e, sentando-se, ensinava do barco as multidões.

4 Quando acabou de falar, disse a Simão: Faze-te ao largo e lançai as vossas redes para a pesca.

5 Ao que disse Simão: Mestre, trabalhamos a noite toda, e nada apanhamos; mas, sobre tua palavra, lançarei as redes.

6 Feito isto, apanharam uma grande quantidade de peixes, de modo que as redes se rompiam.

8 Vendo isso Simão Pedro, prostrou-se aos pés de Jesus, dizendo: Retira-te de mim, Senhor, porque sou um homem pecador.

10 bem como de Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, que eram sócios de Simão. Disse Jesus a Simão: Não temas; de agora em diante serás pescador de homens.

11 E, levando eles os barcos para a terra, deixaram tudo e o seguiram.

12 Estando ele numa das cidades, apareceu um homem cheio de lepra que, vendo a Jesus, prostrou-se com o rosto em terra e suplicou-lhe: Senhor, se quiseres, bem podes tornar-me limpo.

13 Jesus, pois, estendendo a mão, tocou-lhe, dizendo: Quero; sê limpo. No mesmo instante desapareceu dele a lepra.

14 Ordenou-lhe, então, que a ninguém contasse isto. Mas vai, disse ele, mostra-te ao sacerdote e faze a oferta pela tua purificação, conforme Moisés determinou, para lhes servir de testemunho.
15 But|strong="G1161" the|strong="G2532" news|strong="G3056" about|strong="G4012" Jesus|strong="G2532" spread|strong="G1330" even|strong="G2532" more|strong="G3123", and|strong="G2532" large|strong="G4183" crowds|strong="G3793" would|strong="G2532" gather together|strong="G4905" to|strong="G2532" hear him|strong="G3588" and|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" healed|strong="G2323" by|strong="G2532" him|strong="G3588" of|strong="G4012" their|strong="G2532" infirmities.
15 A sua fama, porém, se divulgava cada vez mais, e grandes multidões se ajuntavam para ouvi-lo e serem curadas das suas enfermidades.
16 But|strong="G1161" he|strong="G2532" would|strong="G2532" often withdraw to|strong="G2532" desolate|strong="G2048" places and|strong="G2532" pray|strong="G4336".
16 Mas ele se retirava para os desertos, e ali orava.
17 On|strong="G1722" one|strong="G1520" of|strong="G1537" those|strong="G3588" days|strong="G2250", as|strong="G1519" he|strong="G2532" was|strong="G1510" teaching|strong="G1321", some|strong="G3739" Pharisees|strong="G5330" and|strong="G2532" teachers|strong="G3547" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G1722" law|strong="G3547" were|strong="G1510" sitting|strong="G2521" there|strong="G2532". They|strong="G2532" had|strong="G2532" come|strong="G2064" from|strong="G1537" every|strong="G3956" village|strong="G2968" of|strong="G1537" Galilee|strong="G1056", Judea|strong="G2449", and|strong="G2532" Jerusalem|strong="G2419", and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G1722" power|strong="G1411" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G1722" Lord|strong="G2962" was|strong="G1510" present to|strong="G1519" heal|strong="G2390" the|strong="G1722" people|strong="G3956".
17 Um dia, quando ele estava ensinando, achavam-se ali sentados fariseus e doutores da lei, que tinham vindo de todas as aldeias da Galiléia e da Judéia, e de Jerusalém; e o poder do Senhor estava com ele para curar.
18 And|strong="G2532" behold|strong="G2400", some|strong="G3739" men|strong="G3739" brought|strong="G5342" on|strong="G1909" a|strong="G2532" bed|strong="G2825" a|strong="G2532" man|strong="G3739" who|strong="G3739" was|strong="G1510" paralyzed|strong="G3886". 19 Mas, não achando por onde o pudessem introduzir por causa da multidão, subiram ao eirado e, por entre as telhas, o baixaram com o leito, para o meio de todos, diante de Jesus.
20 When|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G3004" saw|strong="G3708" their|strong="G2532" faith|strong="G4102", he|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" man, “Man, yoʋr sins \+w are|strong="G3588"\+w* forgiven yoʋ.”
20 E vendo-lhes a fé, disse ele: Homem, são-te perdoados os teus pecados.
21 But|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330" began to|strong="G2532" question what|strong="G5101" Jesus|strong="G3004" said|strong="G3004": “Who|strong="G3739" is|strong="G1510" this|strong="G3778" that|strong="G3739" speaks|strong="G2980" blasphemies? Who|strong="G3739" can|strong="G1410" forgive sins but|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" alone|strong="G3441"?”
21 Então os escribas e os fariseus começaram a arrazoar, dizendo: Quem é este que profere blasfêmias? Quem é este que profere blasfêmias? Quem pode perdoar pecados, senão só Deus?
22 Aware|strong="G1921" of|strong="G1722" their|strong="G1438" thoughts|strong="G1261", Jesus|strong="G2424" answered|strong="G3004" them|strong="G3588", “\+w Why|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w are|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5210"\+w* questioning \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w your|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w hearts|strong="G2588"\+w*?
22 Jesus, porém, percebendo os seus pensamentos, respondeu, e disse-lhes: Por que arrazoais em vossos corações?
23 \+w Which|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w is|strong="G1510"\+w* \+w easier|strong="G2123"\+w*, \+w to|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w say|strong="G3004"\+w*, ‘Yoʋr sins \+w are|strong="G1510"\+w* forgiven yoʋ,’ \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w to|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w say|strong="G3004"\+w*, ‘\+w Rise|strong="G1453"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w walk|strong="G4043"\+w*’?
23 Qual é mais fácil? dizer: São-te perdoados os teus pecados; ou dizer: Levanta-te, e anda?

24 Ora, para que saibais que o Filho do homem tem sobre a terra autoridade para perdoar pecados {disse ao paralítico}, a ti te digo: Levanta-te, toma o teu leito e vai para tua casa.
25 Immediately|strong="G3916" the|strong="G2532" man|strong="G3739" rose|strong="G2532" up|strong="G1519" before|strong="G1799" them|strong="G3588", picked up|strong="G1519" what|strong="G3739" he|strong="G2532" had|strong="G2532" been|strong="G2532" lying|strong="G2621" on|strong="G1909", and|strong="G2532" went|strong="G2532" to|strong="G1519" his|strong="G1519" house|strong="G3624", glorifying|strong="G1392" God|strong="G2316".
25 Imediatamente se levantou diante deles, tomou o leito em que estivera deitado e foi para sua casa, glorificando a Deus.
26 Amazement|strong="G1611" seized|strong="G2983" them|strong="G3588" all|strong="G2532", and|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" too|strong="G2532" began|strong="G2983" glorifying|strong="G1392" God|strong="G2316". Filled|strong="G4130" with|strong="G2532" awe|strong="G5401", they|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004", “We|strong="G3754" have|strong="G2532" seen|strong="G3708" extraordinary things|strong="G3588" today|strong="G4594".”
26 E, tomados de pasmo, todos glorificavam a Deus; e diziam, cheios de temor: Hoje vimos coisas extraordinárias.
27 After|strong="G3326" this|strong="G3778" Jesus|strong="G3004" went|strong="G1831" out|strong="G1831" and|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G2300" a|strong="G2532" tax|strong="G5057" collector|strong="G5057" named|strong="G3686" Levi|strong="G3018" sitting|strong="G2521" at|strong="G1909" the|strong="G2532" tax|strong="G5057" booth|strong="G5058". Jesus|strong="G3004" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G2532" him|strong="G3588", “\+w Follow|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w me|strong="G1473"\+w*,”
27 Depois disso saiu e, vendo um publicano chamado Levi, sentado na coletoria, disse-lhe: Segue-me.

29 Deu-lhe então Levi um lauto banquete em sua casa; havia ali grande número de publicanos e outros que estavam com eles à mesa.
30 But|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" scribes|strong="G1122" of|strong="G1223" the|strong="G2532" people|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330" were|strong="G3588" grumbling|strong="G1111" at|strong="G4314" his|strong="G1223" disciples|strong="G3101", saying|strong="G3004", “Why|strong="G5101" are|strong="G3588" you|strong="G3004" eating|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" drinking|strong="G4095" with|strong="G3326" tax|strong="G5057" collectors|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" sinners?”
30 Murmuravam, pois, os fariseus e seus escribas contra os discípulos, perguntando: Por que comeis e bebeis com publicanos e pecadores?

31 Respondeu-lhes Jesus: Não necessitam de médico os sãos, mas sim os enfermos;

32 eu não vim chamar justos, mas pecadores, ao arrependimento.

33 Disseram-lhe eles: Os discípulos de João jejuam freqüentemente e fazem orações, como também os dos fariseus, mas os teus comem e bebem.
