¹ I cry with my voice unto the LORD; with my voice unto the LORD do I make supplication.

¹ Eu clamo a Deus, o Senhor , pedindo socorro; eu suplico que me ajude.

² I pour out my complaint before him; I shew before him my trouble.

² Levo a ele todas as minhas queixas e lhe conto todos os meus problemas.

³ When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walk have they hidden a snare for me.

³ Quando estou desistindo, ele sabe o que devo fazer. No caminho por onde ando os meus inimigos armam uma armadilha para me pegar.

⁴ Look on my right hand, and see; for there is no man that knoweth me: refuge hath failed me; no man careth for my soul.

⁴ Olho para os lados e não vejo ninguém que me ajude. Não há ninguém para me proteger, não há ninguém que cuide de mim.

⁵ I cried unto thee, O LORD; I said, Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.

⁵ Ó Senhor , eu grito pedindo a tua ajuda. Ó Deus, tu és o meu protetor, és tudo o que desejo nesta vida.

⁶ Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

⁶ Escuta o meu grito pedindo socorro, pois estou caindo no desespero. Salva-me dos meus inimigos, pois eles são fortes demais para mim.

⁷ Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks unto thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
