1 Três dias depois, houve um casamento em Caná da Galileia, achando-se ali a mãe de Jesus.
2 Jesus|strong="G2424" himself|strong="G1519", too|strong="G2532", with|strong="G2532" his|strong="G1519" disciples|strong="G3101", was|strong="G3588" invited|strong="G2564" to|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" wedding|strong="G1062".

4 Mas Jesus lhe disse: Mulher, que tenho eu contigo? Ainda não é chegada a minha hora.

6 Estavam ali seis talhas de pedra, que os judeus usavam para as purificações, e cada uma levava duas ou três metretas.

7 Jesus lhes disse: Enchei de água as talhas. E eles as encheram totalmente.

8 Então, lhes determinou: Tirai agora e levai ao mestre-sala. Eles o fizeram.

9 Tendo o mestre-sala provado a água transformada em vinho (não sabendo donde viera, se bem que o sabiam os serventes que haviam tirado a água), chamou o noivo

10 e lhe disse: Todos costumam pôr primeiro o bom vinho e, quando já beberam fartamente, servem o inferior; tu, porém, guardaste o bom vinho até agora.
11 This|strong="G3778", the|strong="G1722" first|strong="G3588" sign|strong="G4592" of|strong="G2532" his|strong="G1519" mission, Jesus|strong="G2424" gave|strong="G4160" at|strong="G1722" Cana|strong="G2580" in|strong="G1722" Galilee|strong="G1056", and|strong="G2532" by|strong="G1722" it|strong="G2532" revealed|strong="G5319" his|strong="G1519" glory|strong="G1391"; and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G1519" disciples|strong="G3101" believed|strong="G4100" in|strong="G1722" him|strong="G3588".
11 Com este, deu Jesus princípio a seus sinais em Caná da Galileia; manifestou a sua glória, e os seus discípulos creram nele.
12 After|strong="G3326" this|strong="G3778", Jesus|strong="G2532" went|strong="G2597" down|strong="G2597" to|strong="G1519" Capernaum|strong="G2584" – he|strong="G2532", his|strong="G1519" mother|strong="G3384", his|strong="G1519" brothers, and|strong="G2532" his|strong="G1519" disciples|strong="G3101"; but|strong="G2532" they|strong="G2532" stayed|strong="G3306" there|strong="G1563" only|strong="G3756" a|strong="G2532" few|strong="G3756" days|strong="G2250".
12 Depois disto, desceu ele para Cafarnaum, com sua mãe, seus irmãos e seus discípulos; e ficaram ali não muitos dias.
13 Then|strong="G2532", as|strong="G1519" the|strong="G2532" Jewish|strong="G2453" Passover|strong="G3957" was|strong="G1510" near|strong="G1451", Jesus|strong="G2424" went|strong="G2424" up|strong="G1519" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2414".
13 Estando próxima a Páscoa dos judeus, subiu Jesus para Jerusalém.

14 E encontrou no templo os que vendiam bois, ovelhas e pombas e também os cambistas assentados;
15 So|strong="G2532" he|strong="G2532" made|strong="G4160" a|strong="G2532" whip of|strong="G1537" cords|strong="G4979", and|strong="G2532" drove|strong="G1544" them|strong="G3588" all|strong="G3956" out|strong="G1537" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" Temple|strong="G2413" Courts, and|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" sheep|strong="G4263" and|strong="G2532" bullocks as|strong="G2532" well|strong="G2532"; he|strong="G2532" scattered|strong="G3956" the|strong="G2532" money|strong="G2855" of|strong="G1537" the|strong="G2532" money|strong="G2855" changers|strong="G2855", and|strong="G2532" overturned their|strong="G2532" tables|strong="G5132",
15 tendo feito um azorrague de cordas, expulsou todos do templo, bem como as ovelhas e os bois, derramou pelo chão o dinheiro dos cambistas, virou as mesas
16 and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G3004" to|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" pigeon-dealers, ‘\+w Take|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w these|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w things|strong="G3778"\+w* away. \+w Do|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w* turn \+w my|strong="G1473"\+w* \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w*’s \+w house|strong="G3624"\+w* \+w into|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w a|strong="G2532"\+w* market \+w house|strong="G3624"\+w*.’
16 e disse aos que vendiam as pombas: Tirai daqui estas coisas; não façais da casa de meu Pai casa de negócio.
17 His|strong="G3754" disciples|strong="G3101" remembered|strong="G3403" that|strong="G3754" scripture|strong="G1125" said|strong="G3754" – “Passion for|strong="G3754" your|strong="G3588" house|strong="G3624" will|strong="G1510" consume|strong="G2719" me|strong="G1473".”
17 Lembraram-se os seus discípulos de que está escrito: O zelo da tua casa me consumirá.
18 Then|strong="G3767" some|strong="G3588" of|strong="G2532" the|strong="G2532" religious authorities asked|strong="G3004" Jesus|strong="G3004", ‘What|strong="G5101" sign|strong="G4592" are|strong="G3588" you|strong="G3754" going|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" show|strong="G1166" us|strong="G3004", since|strong="G3754" you|strong="G3754" act|strong="G4160" in|strong="G2532" this|strong="G3778" way|strong="G3778"?’
18 Perguntaram-lhe, pois, os judeus: Que sinal nos mostras, para fazeres estas coisas?
19 ‘\+w Destroy|strong="G3089"\+w* \+w this|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w temple|strong="G3485"\+w*,’ was|strong="G3588" his|strong="G1722" answer, ‘\+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w I|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w will|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w raise|strong="G1453"\+w* \+w it|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w three|strong="G5140"\+w* \+w days|strong="G2250"\+w*.’
19 Jesus lhes respondeu: Destruí este santuário, e em três dias o reconstruirei.
20 ‘This|strong="G3778" Temple|strong="G3485",’ the|strong="G1722" authorities replied|strong="G3004", ‘has|strong="G3778" been|strong="G2532" forty-six years|strong="G2094" in|strong="G1722" building|strong="G3618", and|strong="G2532" are|strong="G3588" you|strong="G4771" going|strong="G2532" to|strong="G2532" “raise|strong="G1453" it|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" three|strong="G5140" days|strong="G2250"”?’
20 Replicaram os judeus: Em quarenta e seis anos foi edificado este santuário, e tu, em três dias, o levantarás?
21 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G3004" was|strong="G3588" speaking|strong="G3004" of|strong="G4012" his|strong="G4012" body|strong="G4983" as|strong="G1161" a|strong="G1161" temple|strong="G3485".
21 Ele, porém, se referia ao santuário do seu corpo.

22 Quando, pois, Jesus ressuscitou dentre os mortos, lembraram-se os seus discípulos de que ele dissera isto; e creram na Escritura e na palavra de Jesus.
23 While|strong="G1722" Jesus|strong="G1510" was|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1722" Jerusalem|strong="G2414", during|strong="G1722" the|strong="G1722" Passover|strong="G3957" Festival|strong="G1859", many|strong="G4183" came|strong="G3588" to|strong="G1519" trust|strong="G4100" in|strong="G1722" him|strong="G3588", when|strong="G1161" they|strong="G1161" saw|strong="G2334" the|strong="G1722" signs|strong="G4592" of|strong="G3686" his|strong="G1519" mission that|strong="G3739" he|strong="G1161" was|strong="G1510" giving|strong="G4160".
23 Estando ele em Jerusalém, durante a Festa da Páscoa, muitos, vendo os sinais que ele fazia, creram no seu nome;
24 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" did|strong="G1097" not|strong="G3756" put|strong="G3956" himself|strong="G1438" in|strong="G3956" their|strong="G1438" power because|strong="G1223" he|strong="G1161" knew|strong="G1097" what|strong="G3588" was|strong="G3588" in|strong="G3956" their|strong="G1438" hearts.
24 mas o próprio Jesus não se confiava a eles, porque os conhecia a todos.
25 He|strong="G2532" did|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3756" need|strong="G5532" anyone|strong="G5100" to|strong="G2443" tell him|strong="G3588" about|strong="G4012" people|strong="G1510" because|strong="G3754" he|strong="G2532" could|strong="G2192" read what|strong="G5101" was|strong="G1510" in|strong="G1722" them|strong="G3588".
25 E não precisava de que alguém lhe desse testemunho a respeito do homem, porque ele mesmo sabia o que era a natureza humana.
