1 After|strong="H1961" these things|strong="H1697" God|strong="H3068" spoke|strong="H1697" to|strong="H3068" Abram in|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" vision|strong="H4236" saying|strong="H1697", ‘Do|strong="H3068" not|strong="H1961" be|strong="H1961" afraid|strong="H3372", Abram, I|strong="H1697" am|strong="H1961" your|strong="H3068" shield|strong="H4043". Your|strong="H3068" reward|strong="H7939" will|strong="H3068" be|strong="H1961" exceedingly|strong="H3966" great|strong="H3966".’
1 Depois destas coisas veio a palavra do Senhor a Abrão em visão, dizendo: Não temas, Abrão, eu sou o teu escudo, o teu grandíssimo galardão.
2 But|strong="H1931" Abram said, ‘Lord|strong="H3069" \+w God|strong="H3069"\+w*, what|strong="H4100" can|strong="H4100" you|strong="H5414" give|strong="H5414" me|strong="H5414"? I|strong="H5414" am|strong="H1980" childless|strong="H6185", and|strong="H1121" the|strong="H5414" person|strong="H1980" who|strong="H1931" will|strong="H1121" be|strong="H1121" possessor of|strong="H1121" my|strong="H5414" house|strong="H1004" is|strong="H1931" Eliezer of|strong="H1121" Damascus|strong="H1834",
2 Então, disse Abrão: Senhor Jeová , que me hás de dar? Pois ando sem filhos, e o mordomo da minha casa é o damasceno Eliézer.
3 to|strong="H5414" me|strong="H5414" you|strong="H5414" have|strong="H1121" given|strong="H5414" no|strong="H3808" offspring|strong="H2233", and|strong="H1121", so|strong="H5414" a|strong="H3068" slave born|strong="H1121" in|strong="H1004" my|strong="H5414" house|strong="H1004" is|strong="H2009" my|strong="H5414" heir|strong="H3423".’
3 Disse mais Abrão: Eis que me não tens dado semente, e eis que um nascido na minha casa será o meu herdeiro.
4 The|strong="H3588" word|strong="H1697" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3588" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* came|strong="H3318" to|strong="H3318" him|strong="H3318", ‘This|strong="H2088" man|strong="H2088" will|strong="H3068" not|strong="H3808" be|strong="H3808" your|strong="H3068" heir|strong="H3423", but|strong="H3588" a|strong="H3068" child of|strong="H3068" your|strong="H3068" own|strong="H4578" will|strong="H3068" be|strong="H3808" your|strong="H3068" heir|strong="H3423".’
4 E eis que veio a palavra do Senhor a ele, dizendo: Este não será o teu herdeiro; mas aquele que de ti será gerado, esse será o teu herdeiro.
5 Then|strong="H1961" God|strong="H8064" brought|strong="H3318" him|strong="H3318" outside|strong="H2351" and|strong="H8064" said|strong="H3318", ‘Look|strong="H5027" now|strong="H4994" toward|strong="H3318" heaven|strong="H8064" and|strong="H8064" count|strong="H5608" the|strong="H3541" stars|strong="H3556", if|strong="H1961" you|strong="H4994" are|strong="H8064" able|strong="H3201" to|strong="H3318" count|strong="H5608" them|strong="H3318"! So|strong="H3541" will|strong="H1961" your|strong="H1961" descendants|strong="H2233" be|strong="H1961".’
5 Então, o levou fora e disse: Olha, agora, para os céus e conta as estrelas, se as podes contar. E disse-lhe: Assim será a tua semente.
6 Abram believed in|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w*; and|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* reckoned|strong="H2803" it|strong="H2803" to|strong="H3068" him|strong="H2803" as|strong="H2803" righteousness|strong="H6666",
6 E creu ele no Senhor , e foi-lhe imputado isto por justiça.
7 and|strong="H3068" said|strong="H3318" to|strong="H3318" him|strong="H5414", ‘I|strong="H5414" am|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5414" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* who|strong="H3068" brought|strong="H3318" you|strong="H5414" out|strong="H3318" of|strong="H3068" Ur of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5414" Chaldees|strong="H3778", to|strong="H3318" give|strong="H5414" to|strong="H3318" you|strong="H5414" this|strong="H2063" land to|strong="H3318" inherit|strong="H3423" it|strong="H5414".’
7 Disse-lhe mais: Eu sou o Senhor , que te tirei de Ur dos caldeus, para dar-te a ti esta terra, para a herdares.
8 Abram said, ‘Lord|strong="H3069" \+w God|strong="H3069"\+w*, how|strong="H4100" will|strong="H4100" I|strong="H3588" know|strong="H3045" that|strong="H3588" I|strong="H3588" will|strong="H4100" inherit|strong="H3423" it|strong="H3588"?’
8 E disse ele: Senhor Jeová , como saberei que hei de herdá-la?
9 The|strong="H3947" Lord said to|strong="H3947" him|strong="H3947", ‘Bring|strong="H3947" me|strong="H3947" a|strong="H3068" heifer|strong="H5697" of|strong="H3947" three|strong="H8027" years old|strong="H8027", and|strong="H3947" a|strong="H3068" female|strong="H5795" goat|strong="H5795" of|strong="H3947" three|strong="H8027" years old|strong="H8027", and|strong="H3947" a|strong="H3068" ram of|strong="H3947" three|strong="H8027" years old|strong="H8027", and|strong="H3947" a|strong="H3068" turtle|strong="H8449" dove, and|strong="H3947" a|strong="H3068" young|strong="H1469" pigeon|strong="H1469".’
9 E disse-lhe: Toma-me uma bezerra de três anos, e uma cabra de três anos, e um carneiro de três anos, e uma rola, e um pombinho.
10 Abram brought|strong="H3947" him|strong="H5414" all|strong="H3605" these|strong="H3947", and|strong="H3947" divided|strong="H1334" them|strong="H5414" in|strong="H8432" the|strong="H3605" middle|strong="H8432", and|strong="H3947" laid|strong="H5414" each|strong="H3605" half|strong="H1335" over|strong="H5414" against|strong="H7125" the|strong="H3605" other|strong="H7453"; but|strong="H3808" the|strong="H3605" birds|strong="H6833" he|strong="H3605" did|strong="H3808" not|strong="H3808" divide|strong="H5414".
10 E trouxe-lhe todos estes, e partiu-os pelo meio, e pôs cada parte deles em frente da outra; mas as aves não partiu.
11 The|strong="H5921" birds|strong="H5861" of|strong="H5921" prey|strong="H5861" came|strong="H3381" down|strong="H3381" upon|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" carcasses|strong="H6297", but|strong="H5921" Abram drove|strong="H5380" them|strong="H5921" away|strong="H5380".
11 E as aves desciam sobre os cadáveres; Abrão, porém, as enxotava.
12 When|strong="H1961" the|strong="H5921" sun|strong="H8121" was|strong="H1961" going|strong="H5307" down|strong="H5307", a|strong="H3068" deep|strong="H8639" sleep|strong="H8639" fell|strong="H5307" upon|strong="H5921" Abram, and|strong="H1419" a|strong="H3068" horror of|strong="H5921" great|strong="H1419" darkness|strong="H2825" fell|strong="H5307" on|strong="H5921" him|strong="H5921".
12 E, pondo-se o sol, um profundo sono caiu sobre Abrão; e eis que grande espanto e grande escuridão caíram sobre ele.
13 The|strong="H3588" Lord said to|strong="H1961" Abram, ‘Know|strong="H3045" certainly|strong="H3588" that|strong="H3588" your|strong="H3045" descendants|strong="H2233" will|strong="H1961" be|strong="H1961" foreigners|strong="H1616" in|strong="H8141" a|strong="H3068" land that|strong="H3588" is|strong="H1961" not|strong="H3808" theirs, and|strong="H3967" will|strong="H1961" be|strong="H1961" slaves|strong="H5647" there|strong="H1961"; and|strong="H3967" they|strong="H3588" will|strong="H1961" be|strong="H1961" held|strong="H1961" there|strong="H1961" for|strong="H3588" four hundred|strong="H3967" years|strong="H8141".
13 Então, disse a Abrão: Saibas, decerto, que peregrina será a tua semente em terra que não é sua; e servi-los-á e afligi-la-ão quatrocentos anos.
14 But|strong="H1571" I|strong="H3651" will|strong="H1471" judge|strong="H1777" that|strong="H1471" nation|strong="H1471", whom they|strong="H3651" will|strong="H1471" serve|strong="H5647", and|strong="H1419" afterward they|strong="H3651" will|strong="H1471" come|strong="H3318" out|strong="H3318" with|strong="H3318" many|strong="H1419" goods|strong="H7399".
14 Mas também eu julgarei a gente à qual servirão, e depois sairão com grande fazenda.
15 But you|strong="H2896" will|strong="H2896" go|strong="H7872" to|strong="H2896" your|strong="H6912" fathers in|strong="H6912" peace|strong="H7965"; you|strong="H2896" will|strong="H2896" be|strong="H7965" buried|strong="H6912" in|strong="H6912" a|strong="H3068" good|strong="H2896" old|strong="H7872" age|strong="H7872".
15 E tu irás a teus pais em paz; em boa velhice serás sepultado.
16 In|strong="H7725" the|strong="H3588" fourth|strong="H7243" generation|strong="H1755" they|strong="H3588" return|strong="H7725" here|strong="H2008" again|strong="H7725"; for|strong="H3588" the|strong="H3588" iniquity|strong="H5771" of|strong="H5771" the|strong="H3588" Amorite is|strong="H5771" not|strong="H3808" yet|strong="H3588" full|strong="H8003".’
16 E a quarta geração tornará para cá; porque a medida da injustiça dos amorreus não está ainda cheia.
17 When|strong="H1961" the|strong="H5674" sun|strong="H8121" had|strong="H1961" set and|strong="H5674" it|strong="H1961" was|strong="H1961" dark|strong="H5939", there|strong="H2009" appeared|strong="H1961" a|strong="H3068" smoking|strong="H6227" furnace|strong="H8574", and|strong="H5674" a|strong="H3068" flaming torch|strong="H3940" that|strong="H1961" passed|strong="H5674" between|strong="H5674" the|strong="H5674" pieces|strong="H1506" of|strong="H8121" the|strong="H5674" animals|strong="H1961".
17 E sucedeu que, posto o sol, houve escuridão; e eis um forno de fumaça e uma tocha de fogo que passou por aquelas metades.
18 At|strong="H3068" that|strong="H3117" time|strong="H3117" the|strong="H5414" \+w Lord|strong="H3068"\+w* made|strong="H3772" a|strong="H3068" covenant|strong="H1285" with|strong="H3068" Abram, saying, ‘To|strong="H5704" your|strong="H3068" descendants|strong="H2233" I|strong="H3117" give|strong="H5414" this|strong="H2063" land, from|strong="H3772" the|strong="H5414" river|strong="H5104" of|strong="H3068" Egypt|strong="H4714" unto|strong="H5414" the|strong="H5414" great|strong="H1419" river|strong="H5104", the|strong="H5414" river|strong="H5104" Euphrates|strong="H6578".’
18 Naquele mesmo dia, fez o Senhor um concerto com Abrão, dizendo: À tua semente tenho dado esta terra, desde o rio do Egito até ao grande rio Eufrates,
19 (This includes the lands of the Kenite|strong="H7017", the Kenizzite|strong="H7074", the Kadmonite|strong="H6935",
19 e o queneu, e o quenezeu, e o cadmoneu,
20 the Hittite|strong="H2850", the Perizzite|strong="H6522", the Rephaim|strong="H7497",
20 e o heteu, e o ferezeu, e os refains,
21 the|strong="H2983" Amorite, the|strong="H2983" Canaanite|strong="H3669", the|strong="H2983" Girgashite|strong="H1622", and|strong="H2983" Jebusite|strong="H2983").
21 e o amorreu, e o cananeu, e o girgaseu, e o jebuseu.
