1 Clama em alta voz, não te detenhas, levanta a tua voz como a trombeta e anuncia ao meu povo a sua transgressão, e à casa de Jacó os seus pecados.

2 Todavia me procuram cada dia, tomam prazer em saber os meus caminhos; como se fossem um povo que praticasse a justiça e não tivesse abandonado a ordenança do seu Deus, pedem-me juízos retos, têm prazer em se chegar a Deus!,
3 They|strong="H3117" say, “We|strong="H3117" fast|strong="H6685" to|strong="H3117" show|strong="H7200" honor to|strong="H3117" you|strong="H3605". Why|strong="H4100" don’t|strong="H3808" you|strong="H3605" notice|strong="H3045" us|strong="H3045"?”
3 Por que temos nós jejuado, dizem eles, e tu não atentas para isso? por que temos afligido as nossas almas, e tu não o sabes? Eis que no dia em que jejuais, prosseguis nas vossas empresas, e exigis que se façam todos os vossos trabalhos.
4 You|strong="H3117" are|strong="H3117" hungry, but|strong="H3808" not|strong="H3808" for|strong="H3117" food. You|strong="H3117" are|strong="H3117" hungry for|strong="H3117" arguing and|strong="H3117" fighting, not|strong="H3808" for|strong="H3117" bread. You|strong="H3117" are|strong="H3117" hungry to|strong="H8085" hit|strong="H5221" people|strong="H3808" with|strong="H3117" your|strong="H8085" evil|strong="H7562" hands. 4 Eis que para contendas e rixas jejuais, e para ferirdes com punho iníquo! Jejuando vós assim como hoje, a vossa voz não se fará ouvir no alto.

5 Seria esse o jejum que eu escolhi? o dia em que o homem aflija a sua alma? Consiste porventura, em inclinar o homem a cabeça como junco e em estender debaixo de si saco e cinza? chamarias tu a isso jejum e dia aceitável ao Senhor?
6 “I|strong="H2088" will|strong="H3808" tell|strong="H3605" you|strong="H3605" the|strong="H3605" kind of|strong="H3605" day I|strong="H2088" want—a|strong="H7971" day to|strong="H7971" set|strong="H7971" people|strong="H3808" free|strong="H2670". I|strong="H2088" want a|strong="H7971" day that|strong="H3605" you|strong="H3605" take the|strong="H3605" burdens off|strong="H5423" others. I|strong="H2088" want a|strong="H7971" day when|strong="H7971" you|strong="H3605" set|strong="H7971" troubled people|strong="H3808" free|strong="H2670" and|strong="H7971" you|strong="H3605" take the|strong="H3605" burdens from|strong="H0977" their|strong="H3605" shoulders.
6 Acaso não é este o jejum que escolhi? que soltes as ligaduras da impiedade, que desfaças as ataduras do jugo? e que deixes ir livres os oprimidos, e despedaces todo jugo?
7 I|strong="H3588" want you|strong="H3588" to|strong="H0935" share your|strong="H7200" food|strong="H3899" with|strong="H1004" the|strong="H3588" hungry|strong="H7457". I|strong="H3588" want you|strong="H3588" to|strong="H0935" find|strong="H7200" the|strong="H3588" poor|strong="H6041" who|strong="H6041" don’t|strong="H3808" have|strong="H7200" homes|strong="H1004" and|strong="H0935" bring|strong="H0935" them|strong="H0935" into|strong="H0935" your|strong="H7200" own homes|strong="H1004". When|strong="H3588" you|strong="H3588" see|strong="H7200" people|strong="H1320" who|strong="H6041" have|strong="H7200" no|strong="H3808" clothes, give|strong="H7200" them|strong="H0935" your|strong="H7200" clothes! Don’t|strong="H3808" hide|strong="H5956" from|strong="H0935" your|strong="H7200" relatives when|strong="H3588" they|strong="H3588" need help.”
7 Porventura não é também que repartas o teu pão com o faminto, e recolhas em casa os pobres desamparados? que vendo o nu, o cubras, e não te escondas da tua carne?
8 If|strong="H0227" you|strong="H6440" do these things, your|strong="H3068" light|strong="H0216" will|strong="H3068" begin to|strong="H1980" shine|strong="H0216" like|strong="H1980" the|strong="H6440" light|strong="H0216" of|strong="H3068" dawn|strong="H7837". Then|strong="H0227" your|strong="H3068" wounds will|strong="H3068" heal. Your|strong="H3068" “Goodness” will|strong="H3068" walk|strong="H1980" in|strong="H1980" front|strong="H6440" of|strong="H3068" you|strong="H6440", and|strong="H1980" the|strong="H6440" Glory|strong="H3519" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H6440" LORD|strong="H3068" will|strong="H3068" come|strong="H1980" following|strong="H1980" behind|strong="H1980" you|strong="H6440".
8 Então romperá a tua luz como a alva, e a tua cura apressadamente brotará. e a tua justiça irá adiante de ti; e a glória do Senhor será a tua retaguarda.
9 Then|strong="H0227" you|strong="H0518" will|strong="H3068" call|strong="H7121" to|strong="H0559" the|strong="H0559" LORD|strong="H3068", and|strong="H3068" he|strong="H0518" will|strong="H3068" answer|strong="H6030" you|strong="H0518". 9 Então clamarás, e o Senhor te responderá; gritarás, e ele dirá: Eis-me aqui. Se tirares do meio de ti o jugo, o estender do dedo, e o falar iniquamente;
10 Feel sorry for|strong="H5315" hungry|strong="H7457" people|strong="H5315" and|strong="H5315" give|strong="H6329" them food. Help those|strong="H5315" who|strong="H5315" are|strong="H5315" troubled and|strong="H5315" satisfy|strong="H7646" their|strong="H7646" needs. Then your|strong="H7646" light|strong="H0216" will|strong="H5315" shine|strong="H2224" in|strong="H5315" the|strong="H7646" darkness|strong="H2822". You|strong="H5315" will|strong="H5315" be|strong="H5315" like|strong="H5315" the|strong="H7646" bright sunshine|strong="H0216" at noon|strong="H6672".
10 e se abrires a tua alma ao faminto, e fartares o aflito; então a tua luz nascerá nas trevas, e a tua escuridão será como o meio dia.
11 The|strong="H0834" LORD|strong="H3068" will|strong="H3068" always|strong="H8548" lead|strong="H5148" you|strong="H0834" and|strong="H3068" satisfy|strong="H7646" your|strong="H3068" needs|strong="H1961" in|strong="H3068" dry lands. He|strong="H0834" will|strong="H3068" give|strong="H1961" strength|strong="H5315" to|strong="H1961" your|strong="H3068" bones|strong="H6106". You|strong="H0834" will|strong="H3068" be|strong="H1961" like|strong="H1961" a|strong="H1961" garden|strong="H1588" that|strong="H0834" has|strong="H3068" plenty|strong="H7646" of|strong="H3068" water|strong="H4325", like|strong="H1961" a|strong="H1961" spring|strong="H4161" that|strong="H0834" never|strong="H3808" goes|strong="H4161" dry.
11 O Senhor te guiará continuamente, e te fartará até em lugares áridos, e fortificará os teus ossos; serás como um jardim regado, e como um manancial, cujas águas nunca falham.
12 Your|strong="H7725" cities have|strong="H1129" been|strong="H5769" destroyed|strong="H2723" for|strong="H7121" many|strong="H1755" years, but|strong="H7725" you|strong="H7725" will|strong="H7725" rebuild|strong="H1129" them|strong="H7725" and|strong="H6965" their|strong="H7725" foundations|strong="H4146" will|strong="H7725" last|strong="H6965" for|strong="H7121" a|strong="H1129" long|strong="H5769" time|strong="H5769". You|strong="H7725" will|strong="H7725" be|strong="H7725" called|strong="H7121" “Fence Fixer” and|strong="H6965" “Builder of|strong="H3427" Roads and|strong="H6965" Houses.”
12 E os que de ti procederem edificarão as ruínas antigas; e tu levantarás os fundamentos de muitas gerações; e serás chamado reparador da brecha, e restaurador de veredas para morar.
13 That|strong="H3117" will|strong="H3068" happen|strong="H4672" when|strong="H3117" you|strong="H0518" stop sinning against|strong="H1696" God’s law about|strong="H1697" the|strong="H3068" Sabbath|strong="H7676" and|strong="H3068" when|strong="H3117" you|strong="H0518" stop doing|strong="H6213" things|strong="H1697" to|strong="H1696" please yourself|strong="H7272" on|strong="H3117" that|strong="H3117" special day|strong="H3117". You|strong="H0518" should|strong="H0518" call|strong="H7121" the|strong="H3068" Sabbath|strong="H7676" a|strong="H0518" happy day|strong="H3117". You|strong="H0518" should|strong="H0518" honor|strong="H3513" the|strong="H3068" LORD’S|strong="H3068" special day|strong="H3117" by|strong="H3068" not|strong="H0518" saying|strong="H1697" and|strong="H3068" doing|strong="H6213" things|strong="H1697" that|strong="H3117" you|strong="H0518" do|strong="H6213" every|strong="H3117" other day|strong="H3117" of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" week.
13 Se desviares do sábado o teu pé, e deixares de prosseguir nas tuas empresas no meu santo dia; se ao sábado chamares deleitoso, ao santo dia do Senhor, digno de honra; se o honrares, não seguindo os teus caminhos, nem te ocupando nas tuas empresas, nem falando palavras vãs;
14 Then|strong="H0227" you|strong="H3588" could enjoy|strong="H6026" the|strong="H5921" LORD|strong="H3068". As|strong="H3068" the|strong="H5921" LORD|strong="H3068" himself says|strong="H1696", “I|strong="H3588" could carry you|strong="H3588" up|strong="H5921" to|strong="H1696" the|strong="H5921" highest mountain and|strong="H3068" let you|strong="H3588" enjoy|strong="H6026" the|strong="H5921" land|strong="H0776" that|strong="H3588" I|strong="H3588" gave|strong="H5159" to|strong="H1696" your|strong="H3068" father|strong="H0001" Jacob|strong="H3290".”
14 então te deleitarás no Senhor, e eu te farei cavalgar sobre as alturas da terra, e te sustentarei com a herança de teu pai Jacó; porque a boca do Senhor o disse.
