3 E virão muitos povos e dirão: Vinde, subamos ao monte do Senhor , à casa do Deus de Jacó, para que nos ensine o que concerne aos seus caminhos, e andemos nas suas veredas; porque de Sião sairá a lei, e de Jerusalém, a palavra do Senhor .

8 Também está cheia de ídolos a sua terra; inclinaram-se perante a obra das suas mãos, diante daquilo que fabricaram os seus dedos.

11 Os olhos altivos dos homens serão abatidos, e a altivez dos varões será humilhada; e só o Senhor será exaltado naquele dia.

12 Porque o dia do Senhor dos Exércitos será contra todo o soberbo e altivo e contra todo o que se exalta, para que seja abatido;

15 e contra toda torre alta e contra todo muro firme;
16 They|strong="H5921" might be|strong="H3605" like|strong="H5921" great ships|strong="H0591" from|strong="H5921" Tarshish|strong="H8659", filled with|strong="H5921" such|strong="H3605" wonderful cargo, but|strong="H5921" they|strong="H5921" will|strong="H3605" be|strong="H3605" brought down|strong="H5921".
16 e contra todos os navios de Társis e contra todas as pinturas desejáveis.

17 E a altivez do homem será humilhada, e a altivez dos varões se abaterá, e só o Senhor será exaltado naquele dia.

19 Então, os homens se meterão nas concavidades das rochas e nas cavernas da terra, por causa da presença espantosa do Senhor e por causa da glória da sua majestade, quando ele se levantar para assombrar a terra.
20 At|strong="H3117" that|strong="H0834" time|strong="H3117" people|strong="H0120" will|strong="H0834" throw|strong="H7993" away|strong="H7993" their|strong="H0834" idols|strong="H0457" they|strong="H0834" made|strong="H6213" from|strong="H3117" gold|strong="H2091" and|strong="H3701" silver|strong="H3701". 20 Naquele dia, os homens lançarão às toupeiras e aos morcegos os seus ídolos de prata e os seus ídolos de ouro, que fizeram para ante eles se prostrarem.

21 E meter-se-ão pelas fendas das rochas e pelas cavernas das penhas, por causa da presença espantosa do Senhor e por causa da glória da sua majestade, quando ele se levantar para assombrar a terra.
