The|strong="H3605" laws God|strong="H3068" gave|strong="H0559" you|strong="H0834" explain the|strong="H3605" agreement|strong="H1285".”
8 Moisés pegou o sangue das vasilhas, aspergiu-o sobre o povo e declarou: “Este sangue confirma a aliança que o S enhor fez com vocês quando lhes deu estas instruções”.

12 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés: “Suba ao monte para encontrar-se comigo. Fique lá e eu lhe darei tábuas de pedra nas quais gravei a lei e os mandamentos para ensinar ao povo”.

13 Moisés e seu auxiliar, Josué, partiram e subiram ao monte de Deus.
14 Moses|strong="H0559" said|strong="H0559" to|strong="H0413" the|strong="H0559" elders|strong="H2205", “Wait|strong="H3427" here|strong="H2009" for|strong="H0413" us|strong="H0413" until|strong="H5704" we|strong="H0834" come|strong="H5066" back|strong="H7725" to|strong="H0413" you|strong="H0834". On|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" seventh|strong="H7637" day|strong="H3117", the|strong="H5921" LORD|strong="H3068" spoke|strong="H0413" to|strong="H0413" Moses|strong="H4872" from|strong="H5921" the|strong="H5921" cloud|strong="H6051".
16 A glória do S enhor pousou sobre o monte Sinai, e a nuvem o cobriu por seis dias. No sétimo dia, o S enhor chamou Moisés de dentro da nuvem.

17 Para os israelitas que estavam ao pé do monte, a glória do S enhor no alto do Sinai parecia um fogo consumidor.

He|strong="H3117" was|strong="H1961" on|strong="H3117" the|strong="H0413" mountain|strong="H2022" for|strong="H0413" 40 days|strong="H3117" and|strong="H0935" 40 nights|strong="H3915".
18 Moisés desapareceu na nuvem ao subir ao monte e ali permaneceu quarenta dias e quarenta noites.
