2 Pois muitos serão egoístas, avarentos, orgulhosos, vaidosos, xingadores, ingratos, desobedientes aos seus pais e não terão respeito pela religião.
3 They will have no love for others and|strong="G1228" will refuse to forgive anyone. They will talk about others to hurt them and|strong="G1228" will have no self-control|strong="G0193". They will be cruel and|strong="G1228" hate what is|strong="G1228" good|strong="G0865".
3 Não terão amor pelos outros e serão duros, caluniadores, incapazes de se controlarem, violentos e inimigos do bem.
4 People will|strong="G3123" turn against their friends. They will|strong="G3123" do|strong="G2228" foolish things without thinking and|strong="G4273" will|strong="G3123" be|strong="G3123" so proud of|strong="G2228" themselves. 4 Serão traidores, atrevidos e cheios de orgulho. Amarão mais os prazeres do que a Deus;

10 Mas você tem seguido os meus ensinamentos, a minha maneira de agir e o propósito que tenho na minha vida. E tem seguido também a minha fé, a minha paciência, o meu amor, a minha perseverança,
11 You|strong="G1722" know about|strong="G1722" my|strong="G3956" persecutions|strong="G1375" and|strong="G2532" my|strong="G3956" sufferings|strong="G3804". You|strong="G1722" know all|strong="G3956" the|strong="G3956" things|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3956" happened|strong="G1096" to|strong="G2532" me|strong="G1473" in|strong="G1722" Antioch|strong="G0490", Iconium|strong="G2430", and|strong="G2532" Lystra|strong="G3082"—the|strong="G3956" persecution|strong="G1375" I|strong="G1473" suffered in|strong="G1722" those|strong="G3588" places. 11 as minhas perseguições e os meus sofrimentos. Você sabe tudo o que me aconteceu nas cidades de Antioquia, de Icônio e de Listra. Que terríveis perseguições eu sofri! Porém o Senhor me livrou de todas elas.
12 Everyone|strong="G3956" who|strong="G3588" wants|strong="G2309" to|strong="G2309" live|strong="G2198" showing true devotion to|strong="G2309" God in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" Jesus|strong="G2424" will|strong="G2309" be|strong="G2532" persecuted|strong="G1377".
12 Todos os que querem viver a vida cristã unidos com Cristo Jesus serão perseguidos.
13 People|strong="G0444" who|strong="G3588" are|strong="G3588" evil|strong="G4190" and|strong="G2532" cheat others|strong="G0444" will|strong="G0444" become worse|strong="G5501" and|strong="G2532" worse|strong="G5501". They|strong="G2532" will|strong="G0444" fool others|strong="G0444", but|strong="G1161" they|strong="G2532" will|strong="G0444" also|strong="G2532" be|strong="G2532" fooling themselves.
13 Porém as pessoas más e fingidas irão de mal a pior, enganando e sendo enganadas.

14 Quanto a você, continue firme nas verdades que aprendeu e em que creu de todo o coração. Você sabe quem foram os seus mestres na fé cristã.

And|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3754" wisdom|strong="G4679" leads|strong="G1519" to|strong="G1519" salvation|strong="G4991" through|strong="G1223" faith|strong="G4102" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" Jesus|strong="G2424".
15 E, desde menino, você conhece as Escrituras Sagradas , as quais lhe podem dar a sabedoria que leva à salvação, por meio da fé em Cristo Jesus.
16 All|strong="G3956" Scripture|strong="G1124" is|strong="G3588" given by|strong="G1722" God|strong="G4314". And|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" Scripture|strong="G1124" is|strong="G3588" useful|strong="G5624" for|strong="G4314" teaching|strong="G1319" and|strong="G2532" for|strong="G4314" showing people|strong="G3956" what|strong="G3588" is|strong="G3588" wrong in|strong="G1722" their|strong="G2532" lives. It|strong="G2532" is|strong="G3588" useful|strong="G5624" for|strong="G4314" correcting faults and|strong="G2532" teaching|strong="G1319" the|strong="G3956" right|strong="G1343" way|strong="G1722" to|strong="G4314" live.
16 Pois toda a Escritura Sagrada é inspirada por Deus e é útil para ensinar a verdade, condenar o erro, corrigir as faltas e ensinar a maneira certa de viver.
