1 Jehovah reigneth; let the peoples tremble: He sitteth
1 Reina o Senhor ; tremam os povos. Ele está entronizado acima dos querubins; abale-se a terra.
2 Jehovah is great in Zion; And he is high above all the peoples.
2 O Senhor é grande em Sião e está exaltado acima de todos os povos.
3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name: Holy is he.
3 Celebrem eles o teu nome grande e tremendo, porque é santo.
4 The king’s strength also loveth justice; Thou dost establish equity; Thou executest justice and righteousness in Jacob.
4 És rei poderoso que ama a justiça; tu estabeleces o direito, executas o juízo e a justiça em Jacó.
5 Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And worship at his footstool: Holy is he.
5 Exaltem o Senhor , nosso Deus, e prostrem-se diante do estrado de seus pés. O
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, And Samuel among them that call upon his name; They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.
6 Moisés e Arão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e, Samuel, entre os que lhe invocam o nome, clamavam ao e ele os ouvia.
7 He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud: They kept his testimonies, And the statute that he gave them.
7 Falava-lhes na coluna de nuvem; eles guardavam os seus mandamentos e a lei que lhes tinha dado.
8 Thou answeredst them, O Jehovah our God: Thou wast a God that forgavest them, Though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.
8 Tu lhes respondeste, ó foste para eles Deus perdoador, ainda que os tenhas castigado por seus atos.
9 Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And worship at his holy hill; For Jehovah our God is holy.
9 Exaltem o Senhor , nosso Deus, e prostrem-se diante do seu santo monte, porque santo é o nosso Deus.
