1 I love Jehovah, because he heareth My voice and my supplications.
1 Amo o Senhor , porque ele ouve a minha voz e as minhas súplicas.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call
2 Porque inclinou para mim os seus ouvidos, invocá-lo-ei enquanto eu viver.
3 The cords of death compassed me, And the pains of Sheol gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
3 Laços de morte me cercaram, e angústias do inferno se apoderaram de mim; caí em tribulação e tristeza.
4 Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
4 Então, invoquei o nome do Senhor : ó
5 Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; Yea, our God is merciful.
5 Compassivo e justo é o Senhor ; o nosso Deus é misericordioso.
6 Jehovah preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.
6 O Senhor vela pelos simples; achava-me prostrado, e ele me salvou.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; For Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee.
7 Volta, minha alma, ao teu sossego, pois o
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears,
8 Pois livraste da morte a minha alma, das lágrimas, os meus olhos, da queda, os meus pés.
9 I will walk before Jehovah In the land of the living.
9 Andarei na presença do Senhor , na terra dos viventes.
10 I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:
10 Eu cria, ainda que disse: estive sobremodo aflito.
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
11 Eu disse na minha perturbação: todo homem é mentiroso.
12 What shall I render unto Jehovah For all his benefits toward me?
12 Que darei ao Senhor por todos os seus benefícios para comigo?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of Jehovah.
13 Tomarei o cálice da salvação e invocarei o nome do
14 I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people.
14 Cumprirei os meus votos ao Senhor , na presença de todo o seu povo.
15 Precious in the sight of Jehovah Is the death of his saints.
15 Preciosa é aos olhos do Senhor a morte dos seus santos.
16 O Jehovah, truly I am thy servant: I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.
16 Senhor , deveras sou teu servo, teu servo, filho da tua serva; quebraste as minhas cadeias.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of Jehovah.
17 Oferecer-te-ei sacrifícios de ações de graças e invocarei o nome do
18 I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people,
18 Cumprirei os meus votos ao Senhor , na presença de todo o seu povo,
19 In the courts of Jehovah’s house, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
19 nos átrios da Casa do Senhor , no meio de ti, ó Jerusalém. Aleluia!
