1 And he entred agayne into the synagoge and there was a man there which had a widdred honde.
1 Em outra ocasião, Jesus entrou na sinagoga e notou que havia ali um homem com uma das mãos deformada.
2 And they watched him to se whether he wolde heale him on the Saboth daye that they might accuse him.
2 Os inimigos de Jesus o observavam atentamente. Se ele curasse a mão do homem, planejavam acusá-lo, pois era sábado.
3 And he sayde vnto the man which had the wyddred honde: arise and stonde in the middes.
3 Jesus disse ao homem com a mão deformada: “Venha e fique diante de todos”.
4 And he sayd to them: whether is it laufull to do a good dede on the Saboth dayes or an evyll? to save life or kyll? But they helde their peace.
4 Em seguida, voltou-se para seus críticos e perguntou: “O que a lei permite fazer no sábado? O bem ou o mal? Salvar uma vida ou destruí-la?”. Eles ficaram em silêncio.
5 And he loked round aboute on them angerly mournyge on the blindnes of their hertes and sayde to the man: stretch forth thyne honde. And he stretched it oute. And his honde was restored even as whole as the other.
5 Jesus olhou para os que estavam ao seu redor, irado e muito triste pelo coração endurecido deles. Então disse ao homem: “Estenda a mão”. O homem estendeu a mão, e ela foi restaurada.
6 And the Pharises departed and streyght waye gaddred a counsell with the that belonged to Herode agaynst him that they might destroye him.
6 No mesmo instante, os fariseus saíram e se reuniram com os membros do partido de Herodes para tramar um modo de matá-lo.
7 And Iesus auoyded with his disciples to the sea. And a greate multitude folowed him from Galile and from Iurie
7 Jesus saiu para o mar com seus discípulos, e uma grande multidão os seguiu. Vinham de todas as partes da Galileia, da Judeia,
8 and from Hierusalem and from Idumea and from beyonde Iordane: and they that dwelled about Tyre and Sidon a greate multitude: which when they had herde what thinges he dyd came vnto him.
8 de Jerusalém, da Idumeia, do leste do rio Jordão e até de lugares distantes ao norte, como Tiro e Sidom. A notícia de seus milagres havia se espalhado para longe, e um grande número de pessoas vinha vê-lo.
9 And he commaunded his disciples that a shippe shuld wayte on him because of the people leste they shuld througe him.
9 Jesus instruiu seus discípulos a prepararem um barco para evitar que a multidão o esmagasse.
10 For he had healed many in somoche that they preased apon him for to touche him as many as had plages.
10 Havia curado muitos naquele dia, e os enfermos se empurravam para chegar até ele e tocá-lo.
11 And when the vnclene sprites sawe him they fell doune before him and cryed sayinge: thou arte the sonne of God.
11 E, sempre que o viam, os espíritos impuros se atiravam no chão na frente dele e gritavam: “Você é o Filho de Deus!”.
12 And he straygtly charged them that they shuld not vtter him.
12 Jesus, porém, lhes dava ordens severas para que não revelassem quem ele era.
13 And he wet vp into a mountayne and called vnto him whom he wolde and they came vnto him.
13 Depois, Jesus subiu a um monte e chamou aqueles que ele desejava que o acompanhassem, e eles foram.
14 And he ordeyned the .xii. that they shuld be with him and that he myght sende the to preache:
14 Escolheu doze e os chamou seus apóstolos, para que o seguissem e fossem enviados para anunciar sua mensagem,
15 and that they might have power to heale syknesses and to cast out devyls.
15 e lhes deu autoridade para expulsar demônios.
16 And he gave vnto Simon to name Peter.
16 Estes foram os doze que ele escolheu: Simão, a quem ele chamou Pedro,
17 And he called Iames the sonne of zebede and Iohn Iames brother and gave them Bonarges to name which is to saye the sonnes of thounder.
17 Tiago e João, filhos de Zebedeu, aos quais deu o nome de Boanerges, que significa “filhos do trovão”,
18 And Andrew and Philip and Bartlemew and Mathew and Thomas and Iames the sonne of Alphey and Taddeus and Symon of Cane,
18 André, Filipe, Bartolomeu, Mateus, Tomé, Tiago, filho de Alfeu, Tadeu, Simão, o cananeu,
19 and Iudas Iscarioth which same also betrayed him. And they came vnto housse
19 Judas Iscariotes, que depois o traiu.
20 and the people assembled togedder agayne so greatly that they had not leesar so moche as to eate breed.
20 Certo dia, Jesus entrou numa casa, e as multidões começaram a se juntar outra vez. Logo, ele e seus discípulos não tinham tempo nem para comer.
21 And when they that longed vnto him hearde of it they went out to holde him. For they thought he had bene beside him selfe.
21 Quando os familiares de Jesus souberam o que estava acontecendo, tentaram impedi-lo de continuar. “Está fora de si”, diziam.
22 And the Scribes which came from Ierusalem sayde: he hath Belzebub and by the power of the chefe devyll casteth out devyls.
22 Então os mestres da lei, que tinham vindo de Jerusalém, disseram: “Está possuído por Belzebu, príncipe dos demônios. É dele que recebe poder para expulsar demônios”.
23 And he called them vnto him and sayde vnto them in similitudes. How can Satan drive out Satan?
23 Jesus os chamou e respondeu com uma comparação: “Como é possível Satanás expulsar Satanás?”, perguntou.
24 For yf a realme be devided ageynste it silfe that realme cannot endure.
24 “Um reino dividido internamente será destruído.
25 Or yf a housse be devided agaynste it silfe that housse cannot continue:
25 Da mesma forma, uma família dividida contra si mesma se desintegrará.
26 So yf Satan make insurreccion agaynste himsilfe and be devided he cannot continue but is at an ende.
26 E, se Satanás está dividido e luta contra si mesmo, não pode se manter de pé; está acabado.
27 No man can entre into a stronge mans housse and take awaye hys gooddes excepte he fyrst bynde that stronge man and then spoyle hys housse.
27 Quem tem poder para entrar na casa de um homem forte e saquear seus bens? Somente alguém ainda mais forte, alguém capaz de amarrá-lo e saquear sua casa.
28 Verely I saye vnto you all synnes shalbe forgeven vnto mens chyldren and blasphemy wherwith they blaspheme.
28 “Eu lhes digo a verdade: todo pecado e toda blasfêmia podem ser perdoados,
29 But he that blasphemeth the holy goost shall never have forgevenes: but is in dauger of eternall dampnacion:
29 mas quem blasfemar contra o Espírito Santo jamais será perdoado. Esse é um pecado com consequências eternas.”
30 because they sayde he had an vnclene sprete.
30 Ele disse isso porque afirmavam: “Está possuído por um espírito impuro”.
31 Then came his mother and his brethren and stode with out and sent vnto him and called him.
31 Então a mãe e os irmãos de Jesus foram vê-lo. Ficaram do lado de fora e mandaram alguém avisá-lo para sair e falar com eles.
32 And the people sate aboute hym and sayde vnto him: beholde thy mother and thy brethren seke for the with out.
32 Havia muitas pessoas sentadas ao seu redor, e alguém disse: “Sua mãe e seus irmãos estão lá fora e o procuram”.
33 And he answered them sayinge: who is my mother and my brethren?
33 Jesus respondeu: “Quem é minha mãe? Quem são meus irmãos?”.
34 And he loked rounde about on his disciples which sate in compasse about hym and sayde: beholde my mother and my brethren.
34 Então olhou para aqueles que estavam ao seu redor e disse: “Vejam, estes são minha mãe e meus irmãos.
35 For who soever doeth the will of God he is my brother my syster and mother.
35 Quem faz a vontade de Deus é meu irmão, minha irmã e minha mãe”.
