AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
1 Taitu men moumur na’in bai’obaiyenayah mataramih kwaniwa’an. Anayabin kwa kwaso’ob, it iyab bai’obaiyenayah, baibatebat ana veya God boro fokarin maiyow nibatiyit, men sabuw maiyow nabibabatiyih na’atube’emih.
2 For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle his entire body as well.
2 It etei’imak mar etei ef ta ta’amaim tare’ere, baise orot yait awanamaim tur ititit, naatu men nasisinaf kwanekwan na’at, nati orot wanawanan i rousouwin, imih i karam biyan boro nanutitiy gewas nabonawiy.
3 Behold, we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they will obey us, and we guide their entire bodies.
3 Ana’itinin ta i iti, horse mo’on murab ina’utan naatu o menamaim namih kukokok murab inatain, horse gagamin na’in boro natatabir o a kokomaim nan.
4 Or take ships for example, though they are so large and driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the helmsman directs.
4 Na’atube wa gagamin na’in kwana’itin, yaurabad gagamin ebababin, baise murab kikimin maiyow nati wa ana gunigamaim hi’utan inu’in, orot menamaim namih ekok ea’abar murab kikimin karam boro wa gagamin na’in narowen mutufur orot ana kokomaim nan.
5 In the same way, the tongue is a small member, yet it makes great boasts. Consider how great a foresta little fire kindles.
5 Imih kwana’itin menat i kikimin maiyow biyat turin, baise ana o kwanekwan i yumatan ta. Naatu itinin ta i iti, wairaf kikimin maiyow natamun nare’er kutor gagamin na’in boro na’arah ni’afiy.
6 And the tongue is a fire. The tongue is placed among our members as a world of unrighteousness, staining the entire body, setting the course of life on fire, and itself being set on fire by hell.
6 Imih menat i wairaf na’atube in etoto’ab. Menat i tafaram ana kakafin an. Biyat wanawanan ma, not kakafih faram at umat etei susuw, ata yawas tutufin etei bonawiy Baimakiy Ana Efanamaim wairaf wan eyayara’ah na’arahimih.
7 Every species of beast, bird, reptile, and sea creature can be tamed and has been tamed by man,
7 Me yan ana sawar naatu riy yan ana sawar etei karam boro sabuw hinimanamen, afa himanamenaka, sigarafor, mamu, uway, kok, uma’ar, naatu siy.
8 but no man can tame the tongue. It isan unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
8 Baise orot babin men yait ta menat imanamimih. Menat i sawar kakafin moromorob naatu bibirin men karam inimutufur.
9 With it we blessGod our Father, and with it we curse men, who are made in God's likeness.
9 Menatamaim Tamat God ana merar tayi tabobora’ara’ah baise menat ta’imonamaim taituwat God ana’itininabe bimatarih i tao’orarafih maiye.
10 Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.
10 Awat i ta’imon, baise merarayow naatu orarafen hairi i efan ta’imon tititit. Taitu iti na’atube men nama.
11 Does a spring pour out fresh water and bitter water from the same opening?
11 Harew buruburur ana sou’umaim karam boro harew naatu riy hairi sou ta’imon hinayen? Men karam.
12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, produce olives, or a grapevine figs?In the same way, no spring can produce both salt water and fresh water.
12 Taitu, fafou nabiw men karam boro olive ro’on nayai, naatu grape nabiw na’atube men karam boro fafou ro’on nayai. Riy yan i na’atube men karam boro tomatom ana harew inahun.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct he should show that his works are done with the gentleness that comes from wisdom.
13 Orot yait kwa wanawanamaim not wairafin naatu ukwarin rerekabin nama’am i boro taiyuwin nayare tur hamehamen naatu yawas gewasin nasisinaf kwana’itin. Sinaf nati i ukwar rerekabane enan.
14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast or deny the truth.
14 Baise o dogor wanawanan tenakuyakuy, bobowen, kabat ibun wa’ir ema’am, men o not wairafih inarouw inaora’at, turobe ana bowabow inayaubimih.
15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above; rather, it is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.
15 Not nati na’atube i men marane enan, baise iti tafaram nowan. Orot babin biyahine naatu demon mowan biyanane enan.
16 For where there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there is disorder and every evil practice.
16 Anayabin menamaim bobowen naatu kabat ema’ama nati’imaim i fanasair naatu sawar kakafih ta ta imaim temamatar.
17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easily entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and unhypocritical.
17 Baise not marane enan ana itinin wantoro’ot i aurin kato en; tufuw wairafin, ana tur hamehamen, kabeberayan, ana ofonah maumurih, ana bowabow ro’on gewasin, wanawanan men rerekabin.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
18 Imih sabuw iyab tufuwamaim tufuw ana ub tetatanum yomaninamaim boro gewasin hinafour.
