¹ Praise ye the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

¹ Aleluia! Louvem o Senhor desde os céus, louvem-no nas alturas!

² Praise him, all ye his angels! Praise him, all ye his hosts!

² Louvem-no todos os seus anjos, louvem-no todos os seus exércitos celestiais.

³ Praise ye him, sun and moon! Praise him, all ye stars of light!

³ Louvem-no sol e lua, louvem-no todas as estrelas cintilantes.

⁴ Praise him, ye heavens of heavens! Ye waters, that are above the heavens!

⁴ Louvem-no os mais altos céus e as águas acima do firmamento.

⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD; For he commanded, and they were created.

⁵ Louvem todos eles o nome do Senhor, pois ordenou, e eles foram criados.

⁶ He hath also established them for ever; He hath given them a law, and they transgress it not.

⁷ Praise the LORD from the earth, Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps!

⁸ Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Thou tempest, that fulfillest his word!

⁸ relâmpagos e granizo, neve e neblina, vendavais que cumprem o que ele determina,

⁹ Ye mountains, and all hills! Fruit-trees, and all cedars!

¹⁰ Ye wild beasts, and all cattle! Ye creeping things, and winged birds!

¹⁰ todos os animais selvagens e os rebanhos domésticos, todos os demais seres vivos e as aves,

¹¹ Ye kings, and all peoples, Princes, and all judges of the earth!

¹¹ reis da terra e todas as nações, todos os governantes e juízes da terra,

¹² Young men and maidens, Old men and children!

¹² moços e moças, velhos e crianças.

¹³ Let them praise the name of the LORD! For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

¹³ Louvem todos o nome do Senhor, pois somente o seu nome é exaltado; a sua majestade está acima da terra e dos céus.

¹⁴ He exalteth the horn of his people, The glory of all his godly ones, Of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye the LORD!

¹⁴ Ele concedeu poder ao seu povo, e recebeu louvor de todos os seus fiéis, dos israelitas, povo a quem tanto ama. Aleluia!
