¹ Praise ye the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

¹ Louvai ao Senhor ! Louvai ao Senhor desde os céus, louvai-o nas alturas.

² Praise him, all ye his angels! Praise him, all ye his hosts!

² Louvai-o, todos os seus anjos; louvai-o, todos os seus exércitos.

³ Praise ye him, sun and moon! Praise him, all ye stars of light!

³ Louvai-o, sol e lua; louvai-o, todas as estrelas luzentes.

⁴ Praise him, ye heavens of heavens! Ye waters, that are above the heavens!

⁴ Louvai-o, céus dos céus, e as águas que estão sobre os céus.

⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD; For he commanded, and they were created.

⁵ Que louvem o nome do Senhor , pois mandou, e logo foram criados.

⁶ He hath also established them for ever; He hath given them a law, and they transgress it not.

⁶ E os confirmou para sempre e lhes deu uma lei que não ultrapassarão.

⁷ Praise the LORD from the earth, Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps!

⁷ Louvai ao Senhor desde a terra, vós, baleias e todos os abismos,

⁸ Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Thou tempest, that fulfillest his word!

⁸ fogo e saraiva, neve e vapores e vento tempestuoso que executa a sua palavra;

⁹ Ye mountains, and all hills! Fruit-trees, and all cedars!

⁹ montes e todos os outeiros, árvores frutíferas e todos os cedros;

¹⁰ Ye wild beasts, and all cattle! Ye creeping things, and winged birds!

¹⁰ as feras e todos os gados, répteis e aves voadoras;

¹¹ Ye kings, and all peoples, Princes, and all judges of the earth!

¹¹ reis da terra e todos os povos, príncipes e todos os juízes da terra;

¹² Young men and maidens, Old men and children!

¹² rapazes e donzelas, velhos e crianças.

¹³ Let them praise the name of the LORD! For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

¹³ Que louvem o nome do Senhor , pois só o seu nome é exaltado; a sua glória está sobre a terra e o céu.

¹⁴ He exalteth the horn of his people, The glory of all his godly ones, Of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise ye the LORD!

¹⁴ Ele também exalta o poder do seu povo, o louvor de todos os seus santos, dos filhos de Israel, um povo que lhe é chegado. Louvai ao Senhor !
