1 I rejoice that the LORD hath heard the voice of my supplication,
1 Amo o Senhor , porque ele ouve a minha voz e as minhas súplicas.
2 That he hath inclined his ear to me and heard me; I will call upon him as long as I live.
2 Porque inclinou para mim os seus ouvidos, eu o invocarei por toda a minha vida.
3 The snares of death encompassed me, And the pains of the underworld seized upon me; I found distress and sorrow.
3 Laços de morte me cercaram, e angústias do inferno se apoderaram de mim; fiquei aflito e triste.
4 Then called I upon the LORD: O LORD! deliver me!
4 Então invoquei o nome do “Ó
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yea, our God is merciful.
5 Compassivo e justo é o Senhor ; o nosso Deus é misericordioso.
6 The LORD preserveth the simple; I was brought low, and he helped me.
6 O Senhor vela pelos simples; quando eu estava prostrado, ele me salvou.
7 Return, O my soul! to thy rest! For the LORD hath dealt kindly with thee.
7 Ó minha alma, volte ao seu sossego, pois o para você.
8 For thou hast preserved me from death; Thou hast kept mine eyes from tears, And my feet from falling!
8 Pois livraste da morte a minha alma, das lágrimas, os meus olhos, da queda, os meus pés.
9 I shall walk before the LORD, In the land of the living.
9 Andarei na presença do Senhor , na terra dos viventes.
10 I had trust, although I said, “I am grievously afflicted!”
10 Eu cria, mesmo quando eu disse: “Estou muito aflito.”
11 I said in my distress, “All men are liars.”
11 Eu disse na minha perturbação: “Todas as pessoas são mentirosas.”
12 What shall I render to the LORD For all his benefits to me?
12 Que darei ao Senhor por todos os seus benefícios para comigo?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the LORD;
13 Erguerei o cálice da salvação e invocarei o nome do
14 I will pay my vows to the LORD, In the presence of all his people.
14 Cumprirei os meus votos ao na presença de todo o seu povo.
15 Precious in the eyes of the LORD Is the death of his holy ones.
15 Preciosa é aos olhos do Senhor a morte dos seus santos.
16 Hear, O LORD! for I am thy servant; I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid! Thou hast loosed my bonds.
16 Senhor , eu sou de fato teu servo; eu sou teu servo, filho da tua serva; quebraste as correntes que me prendiam.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the LORD.
17 A ti oferecerei sacrifícios de ações de graças e invocarei o nome do
18 I will pay my vows to the LORD In the presence of all his people,
18 Cumprirei os meus votos ao na presença de todo o seu povo,
19 In the courts of the house of the LORD, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem! Praise ye the LORD!
19 nos átrios da Casa do Senhor , em seu meio, ó Jerusalém. Aleluia!
