1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene comes to the tomb early, while it is still dark, and sees that the stone has been removed from the tomb.
1 Domingo bem cedo, quando ainda estava escuro, Maria Madalena foi até o túmulo e viu que a pedra que tapava a entrada tinha sido tirada.
2 So she runs and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and says to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and wedon't know where they put Him!”
2 Então foi correndo até o lugar onde estavam Simão Pedro e outro discípulo, aquele que Jesus amava, e disse: — Tiraram o Senhor Jesus do túmulo, e não sabemos onde o puseram!
3 So Peter and the other disciple took off, heading for the tomb.
3 Então Pedro e o outro discípulo foram até o túmulo.
4 Well the two started running together, and the other disciple outran Peter and got to the tomb first.
4 Os dois saíram correndo juntos, mas o outro correu mais depressa do que Pedro e chegou primeiro.
5 And stooping to look he sees the linen strips lying there; however he did not go in.
5 Ele se abaixou para olhar lá dentro e viu os lençóis de linho; porém não entrou no túmulo.
6 Then following him comes Simon Peter and went into the tomb; and he sees the linen strips lying there,
6 Mas Pedro, que chegou logo depois, entrou. Ele também viu os lençóis colocados ali
7 and the facecloththat had been on His head not lying with the linen strips, but folded up in a separate place.
7 e a faixa que tinham posto em volta da cabeça de Jesus. A faixa não estava junto com os lençóis, mas estava enrolada ali ao lado.
8 So then the other disciple went in too, the one who got to the tomb first; and he saw and believed.
8 Aí o outro discípulo, que havia chegado primeiro, também entrou no túmulo. Ele viu e creu.
9 (For they did not yet know the Scripture, that He had to rise from among the dead.)
9 (Eles ainda não tinham entendido as Escrituras Sagradas , que dizem que era preciso que Jesus ressuscitasse.)
10 Then the disciples went back home.
10 E os dois voltaram para casa.
11 Well Mary stood outside at the tomb, crying.Then, while she was crying, she stooped to look into the tomb.
11 Maria Madalena tinha ficado perto da entrada do túmulo, chorando. Enquanto chorava, ela se abaixou, olhou para dentro
12 And she sees two angelsin white, sitting one at the head and one at the feet of where the body of Jesus had lain.
12 e viu dois anjos vestidos de branco, sentados onde tinha sido posto o corpo de Jesus. Um estava na cabeceira, e o outro, nos pés.
13 And they say to her, “Woman, why are you crying?” She says to them, “Because they removed my Lord, and I don't know where they put Him.”
13 Os anjos perguntaram: — Mulher, por que você está chorando? Ela respondeu: — Levaram embora o meu Senhor, e eu não sei onde o puseram!
14 And upon saying this she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, yet did not know that it was Jesus.
14 Depois de dizer isso, ela virou para trás e viu Jesus ali de pé, mas não o reconheceu.
15 Jesus says to her: “Woman, why are you crying? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing that He was the gardener, says to Him, “Sir, if you carried Him away, tell me where you put Him, and I will remove Him.”
15 Então Jesus perguntou: Ela pensou que ele era o jardineiro e por isso respondeu: — Se o senhor o tirou daqui, diga onde o colocou, e eu irei buscá-lo.
16 Jesus says to her, “Mary!” Turning she says to Him, “Raboni!” (which means ‘Teacher’).
16 — Maria! — disse Jesus. Ela virou e respondeu em — “Rabôni!” (Esta palavra quer dizer “Mestre”.)
17 Jesus says to her: “Stop clinging to me,for I have not yet ascended to my Father;but go to my brothersand say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father—my God and your God.’ ”
17 Jesus disse:
18 Mary Magdalene goes to the disciples, reporting that she had seen the Lord and He had said these things to her.
18 Então Maria Madalena foi e disse aos discípulos de Jesus: — Eu vi o Senhor! E contou o que Jesus lhe tinha dito.
19 Then at evening on that first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle, and He says to them, “Peace to you!”
19 Naquele mesmo domingo, à tarde, os discípulos de Jesus estavam reunidos de portas trancadas, com medo dos líderes judeus. Então Jesus chegou, ficou no meio deles e disse:
20 And upon saying this He showed them His hands and His side. Well, the disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord!
20 Em seguida lhes mostrou as suas mãos e o seu lado. E eles ficaram muito alegres ao verem o Senhor.
21 So Jesus said to them again: “Peace to you!Just as the Father sent me, I also send you.”
21 Então Jesus disse de novo:
22 Upon saying this He breathed on them and said: “Receive Holy Spirit!
22 Depois soprou sobre eles e disse:
23 To whomever you forgive the sins,they are forgiven to them; to whomever you retain, they have been retained.”
23 Se vocês perdoarem os pecados de alguém, esses pecados são perdoados; mas, se não perdoarem, eles não são perdoados.
24 Now one of the twelve, Thomas (called Twin), was not with them when Jesus came.
24 Acontece que Tomé, um dos discípulos, que era chamado de “o Gêmeo”, não estava com eles quando Jesus chegou.
25 So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “If I do not see the nail prints in His hands and put my finger into the nail prints, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe!”
25 Então os outros discípulos disseram a Tomé: — Nós vimos o Senhor! Ele respondeu: — Se eu não vir o sinal dos pregos nas mãos dele, e não tocar ali com o meu dedo, e também se não puser a minha mão no lado dele, não vou crer!
26 Well after eight daysHis disciples were inside again, and Thomas with them. The doors were locked [again]; Jesus came and stood in the middle, and said, “Peace to you!”
26 Uma semana depois, os discípulos de Jesus estavam outra vez reunidos ali com as portas trancadas, e Tomé estava com eles. Jesus chegou, ficou no meio deles e disse:
27 Then He says to Thomas: “Bring your finger here and perceive my hands; bring your hand and put it into my side;do not be unbelieving but believing!”
27 Em seguida disse a Tomé:
28 Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
28 Então Tomé exclamou: — Meu Senhor e meu Deus!
29 Jesus says to him: “Because you have observed me, you have believed. Blessed are those who believe without seeing!”
29 — Você creu porque me viu? — disse Jesus. — Felizes são os que não viram, mas assim mesmo creram!
30 Now then, Jesus actually performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of His disciples, that are not written in this book;
30 Jesus fez diante dos discípulos muitos outros milagres que não estão escritos neste livro.
31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have Life through His Name.
31 Mas estes foram escritos para que vocês creiam que Jesus é o Messias , o Filho de Deus. E para que, crendo, tenham vida por meio dele.
