AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 So then, laying aside all malignity—even all deceit and play-actings and envies, yes all malicious speaking—
1 Isan imih yawas kakafih boro kwanihamiyen. Men kwanifuwen, men awa hinaharewan, men kwanibobowen, men turanah isah tur kakafin kwanao.
2 crave the pure spiritual ‘milk’,like newborn babies do, so that by it you may grow into salvation,
2 Kek sosof na’atube kwanamatar, mar etei sika namamah ayub ananun tom isan, saise i kwanatomatom kwa ayawas boro nara’at nayen.
3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is benevolent.
3 Buk Atamaninamaim hi’o hikirum, “Kwa taiyuw ayawasamaim kwaso’ob Regah i kabeberayan.”
4 Coming to Him, a living stone—rejected indeed by men but chosen by God, precious—
4 Kwana ata Regah biyanaika kwanama, iti kabay yawasin sabuw hi’itin hikwahir yabin en hirouw, baise God rubin na mokob foun matar.
5 you also, as living stones, are being builtinto a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
5 Kwa baitumatumayah i wabat wanatowanin na’atube, imaim God bai ayub ana Tafaror Bar ewowowab. Kwa auman i firis ana kou’ay ayubitane ana sibor kwaya’ay. Jesu Keriso ana baibaisamaim, God i iyasisir ebaib.
6 That is why the Scripture contains:
6 Buk Atamaninamaim iti na’atube hikirum,
7 So then, this recompense is for you who believe, but to those who disobey,“the stone that the builders rejected is just the one that became the chief cornerstone,”
7 Kwa iyab kwabitumitum, Keriso i kabay gewasin kwa isa, baise kwa iyab men kwabitumitum isa boro men gewasin.
8 also “a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;being disobedient to the Word, they stumble, to which, indeed, they were appointed.
8 Naatu ibanak Buk Atamaninamaim hikirum hio,
9 But you are a chosen family, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a private-property people, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
9 Baise kwa i God ana rubinen sabuw, kwa i firis gewas, God ana sabuw kakafiyi, naatu God nowan, imih God ana bowabow gewasin kwanaorereb, anayabin guguminamaim kwama’am botaiti kwatit marakaw bonamanamarin gewasin kwabai.
10 who formerly were not a people but now are God's people, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
10 Marasika kwa men God ana sabuw, baise boun kwa i ana sabuw. Marasika God ana kabeber men kwabai, baise boun i ana kabeber kwabai.
11 Dear ones, I urge you to abstain from the lusts of the flesh, that war against the soul,
11 Are au ofonah, kwa au’uwi kwa i nanawan naatu touman sabuw na’atube iti tafaramaim kwama’am! Men biya ana kok nabonawiyi imaim nakaifi. Nati biya ana kok i boun rakit na’atube, boro ayub hairi hiniyow.
12 keeping your way of life among the nations praiseworthy (you being foreigners and sojourners), so that wherein they speak against you as evildoers, in spite of the praiseworthy deeds they have observed,they may glorify God in the day of visitation.
12 Eteni Sabuw matahimaim kwanakaifi gewas kwanama. Kwa isa boro bowabow kakafih sinafuyah hinarauw hinao, baise anamaramaim bowabow gewasin kwanasisinaf boro men isa tur ta hinao. Imih Baibatebat ana Veya God namamatabir. Kwa isa boro God ana merar hina hinabora’ara’ah.
13 Therefore subordinate yourselves to every human institution because of the Lord, whether to a king, as being in authority,
13 Regah wabinamaim kwa kwayar’iy sabuw gagamih babahimaim kwanama. Gawan hai aiwob gagamin aiwob etei ukwarih,
14 or to governors, as being sent by him, both for punishment of evildoers and for praise of good-doers.
14 gawan sabuw iyab gawan ana ukwarin iyafarih hitit tafaram ta ta tekakaif, imih iyab bowabow kakafin tesisinaf boro hinabow baimakiy hinitih, baise iyab bowabow gewasin tesisinaf boro hinabora’ara’ahih.
15 Because such is the will of God, to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good:
15 God ekokok kwa kwanasinaf gewas saife nati sabuw hai not meyemeye, boro hinanutanubamo hinama, aurih ef men ema’am boro isa tur kakafih hinao.
16 as free (not using the freedom as a cover for evil), yet as slaves of God.
16 Kwa ama i sabuw roufamen na’atube kwanama, baise men nati roufamen ana yawasamaim kwama’am isan afair kwanab kakafin kwanasinaf, baise kwa i God ana’akir wairafihibe kwanama.
17 Respect everyone;love the brotherhood; fear God; honor the king.
17 Sabuw etei isah kwanakakaf. A ofonah baitumatumayah isah kwaniyabow kwanakakaf. Naatu aiwob hai ukwarin isan kwanakakaf.
18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unscrupulous.
18 Kwa akir wairafi kakafemaim kwanayara’iy, a orot ukwarih fanah kwanab babahimaim kwanama, men gewasin isa isisinaf akisin fanah kwanab, baise iyab fokarin isa tisisinaf auman fanah kwanab.
19 For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God someone endures grief, suffering unjustly.
19 Kwa anot tutufin etei God ana kokomaim kwabowabow naatu sabuw asir biyababan hinit nawawainabi isan, God boro nigegewasini.
20 For what credit is it if upon sinning and being beaten you endure patiently? But if upon doing good and suffering you endure patiently, this is commendable before God.
20 Bo kakafin kwasisinaf isan hinarab nawawainabi ana gewasin boro abisa kwanab, baise gewasin kwanasinaf isan nawainabi kwabi’akir God boro nigegewasini.
21 Now you have been called to this, really, because Christ also suffered in our behalf, leaving youan example that you should follow in His footsteps:
21 Kwa afa’af kwabai i bai’akir isan, anayabin Keriso kwa isa i’akir ana bai’obaiyen yare saise i an efanin kwani’ufunun.
22 who did not commit sin, neither was deceit found in His mouth;
22 “Bowabow kakafin men ta sinaf,
23 who being reviled did not revile in return, suffering did not threaten but committed it to Him who judges righteously;
23 Hibi’i’iyab ana maramaim i men kafa’imo bai’iyab tur ta wan yi isah eomih, i bi’akir ana veya men hibiruwimih, baise ana nuhifot i God mutufor baibatiyenayan imaim yai.
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own bodyon the tree, so that we, having died to those sins,might live for therighteousness; by whose woundyou were healed.
24 Keriso akisinamo ata kakafih i biyanamaim eabar onaf afe’enamaim yen, saise it bowabow kakafinane tanamorob naatu yawas mutuforomaim tanama, i ana fitamaim it iyawasit.
25 Yes, you were like straying sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of oursouls.
25 Anayabin kwa bobaituw sheep na’atube ef kwasa’ir nanabin kwan, baise boun kwa buwi kwamatabir kwana Nabatanenayan naatu anun ana kaifenayan biyan kwatit.
