1 Socorro, S enhor , pois os fiéis estão desaparecendo depressa! Os que te temem sumiram da terra!
2 They|strong="H3588" speak vanity every|strong="H3068" one|strong="H1121" with|strong="H3068" his|strong="H3068" neighbour|strong="H1121": with|strong="H3068" flattering lip, and|strong="H1121" with|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" double heart, do|strong="H3068" they|strong="H3588" speak.
2 Todos mentem uns aos outros; falam com lábios bajuladores e coração fingido.
3 The|strong="H1696" LORD|strong="H3068" shall|strong="H3820" cut off|strong="H7453" all flattering|strong="H2513" lips|strong="H8193", the|strong="H1696" tongue that|strong="H3820" speaketh|strong="H1696" great things|strong="H2513":
3 Que o S enhor corte os lábios bajuladores e cale a língua arrogante.
4 Who|strong="H3605" have|strong="H3068" said|strong="H1696", with|strong="H3068" our|strong="H3068" tongue|strong="H3956" will|strong="H3068" we|strong="H3068" prevail; our|strong="H3068" lips|strong="H8193" are|strong="H3068" our|strong="H3068" own: who|strong="H3605" is|strong="H3068" lord|strong="H3068" over|strong="H3068" us?
4 Eles dizem: “Mentiremos quanto quisermos. Os lábios são nossos; quem nos impedirá?”.
5 For|strong="H4310" the|strong="H1396" spoiling of|strong="H8193" the|strong="H1396" poor, for|strong="H4310" the|strong="H1396" sighing of|strong="H8193" the|strong="H1396" needy, now will|strong="H4310" I arise, saith the|strong="H1396" LORD|strong="H3068"; I will|strong="H4310" set him in|strong="H8193" safety at whom|strong="H4310" they puff.
5 O S enhor responde: “Vi a violência cometida contra os indefesos e ouvi o gemido dos pobres. Agora me levantarei para salvá-los, como eles tanto desejam”.
6 The|strong="H3068" words of|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068" are|strong="H3068" pure words; as|strong="H3068" silver tried in|strong="H3068" a|strong="H3068" furnace on|strong="H3068" the|strong="H3068" earth, purified seven times.
6 As promessas do S enhor são puras como prata refinada no forno, purificada sete vezes.
7 Thou shalt keep them|strong="H3068", O|strong="H3068" LORD|strong="H3068", thou shalt preserve them|strong="H3068" from|strong="H3068" this|strong="H3068" generation for|strong="H3068" ever.
7 Portanto, S enhor , sabemos que protegerás os oprimidos e para sempre os guardarás desta geração mentirosa,
8 The|strong="H8104" wicked walk on|strong="H3068" every|strong="H1755" side, when|strong="H3068" vileness is|strong="H3068" exalted among|strong="H4480" the|strong="H8104" sons of|strong="H3068" men.
8 ainda que os perversos andem confiantes, e a maldade seja elogiada em toda a terra.
