1 He that dwelleth|strong="H3427" in the secret|strong="H5643" place of the most High|strong="H5945" shall abide|strong="H3885" under the shadow|strong="H6738" of the Almighty|strong="H7706".
1 Aquele que habita no esconderijo do Altíssimo, à sombra do Todo-Poderoso descansará.
2 I will say|strong="H0559" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, He is my refuge|strong="H4268" and my fortress|strong="H4686": my God|strong="H0430"; in him will I trust|strong="H0982".
2 Direi do Senhor: Ele é o meu refúgio e a minha fortaleza, o meu Deus, em quem confio.
3 Surely he shall deliver|strong="H5337" thee from the snare|strong="H6341" of the fowler|strong="H3353", and from the noisome|strong="H1942" pestilence|strong="H1698".
3 Porque ele te livra do laço do passarinho, e da peste perniciosa.
4 He shall cover|strong="H5526" thee with his feathers|strong="H0084", and under his wings|strong="H3671" shalt thou trust|strong="H2620": his truth|strong="H0571" shall be thy shield|strong="H6793" and buckler|strong="H5507".
4 Ele te cobre com as suas penas, e debaixo das suas asas encontras refúgio; a sua verdade é escudo e broquel.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid|strong="H3372" for the terror|strong="H6343" by night|strong="H3915"; nor for the arrow|strong="H2671" that flieth|strong="H5774" by day|strong="H3119";
5 Não temerás os terrores da noite, nem a seta que voe de dia,
6 Nor for the pestilence|strong="H1698" that walketh|strong="H1980" in darkness|strong="H0652"; nor for the destruction|strong="H6986" that wasteth|strong="H7736" at noonday|strong="H6672".
6 nem peste que anda na escuridão, nem mortandade que assole ao meio-dia.
7 A thousand|strong="H0505" shall fall|strong="H5307" at thy side|strong="H6654", and ten thousand|strong="H7233" at thy right hand|strong="H3225"; but it shall not come nigh|strong="H5066" thee.
7 Mil poderão cair ao teu lado, e dez mil à tua direita; mas tu não serás atingido.
8 Only with thine eyes|strong="H5869" shalt thou behold|strong="H5027" and see|strong="H7200" the reward|strong="H8011" of the wicked|strong="H7563".
8 Somente com os teus olhos contemplarás, e verás a recompensa dos ímpios.
9 Because thou hast made|strong="H7760" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, which is my refuge|strong="H4268", even the most High|strong="H5945", thy habitation|strong="H4583";
9 Porquanto fizeste do Senhor o teu refúgio, e do Altíssimo a tua habitação,
10 There shall no evil|strong="H7451" befall|strong="H0579" thee, neither shall any plague|strong="H5061" come nigh|strong="H7126" thy dwelling|strong="H0168".
10 nenhum mal te sucederá, nem praga alguma chegará à tua tenda.
11 For he shall give his angels|strong="H4397" charge|strong="H6680" over thee, to keep|strong="H8104" thee in all thy ways|strong="H1870".
11 Porque aos seus anjos dará ordem a teu respeito, para te guardarem em todos os teus caminhos.
12 They shall bear thee up|strong="H5375" in their hands|strong="H3709", lest thou dash|strong="H5062" thy foot|strong="H7272" against a stone|strong="H0068".
12 Eles te susterão nas suas mãos, para que não tropeces em alguma pedra.
13 Thou shalt tread|strong="H1869" upon the lion|strong="H7826" and adder|strong="H6620": the young lion|strong="H3715" and the dragon|strong="H8577" shalt thou trample under feet|strong="H7429".
13 Pisarás o leão e a áspide; calcarás aos pés o filho do leão e a serpente.
14 Because he hath set his love|strong="H2836" upon me, therefore will I deliver|strong="H6403" him: I will set him on high|strong="H7682", because he hath known|strong="H3045" my name|strong="H8034".
14 Pois que tanto me amou, eu o livrarei; pô-lo-ei num alto retiro, porque ele conhece o meu nome.
15 He shall call|strong="H7121" upon me, and I will answer|strong="H6030" him: I will be with him in trouble|strong="H6869"; I will deliver|strong="H2502" him, and honour|strong="H3513" him.
15 Quando ele me invocar, eu lhe responderei; estarei com ele na angústia, livrá-lo-ei, e o honrarei.
16 With long|strong="H0753" life|strong="H3117" will I satisfy|strong="H7646" him, and shew|strong="H7200" him my salvation|strong="H3444".
16 Com longura de dias fartá-lo-ei, e lhe mostrarei a minha salvação.
