1 O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our Lord|strong="H0113", how excellent|strong="H0117" is thy name|strong="H8034" in all the earth|strong="H0776"! who hast set|strong="H5414" thy glory|strong="H1935" above the heavens|strong="H8064".
1 Ao Músico-chefe sobre Gitite, Salmo de Davi. Ó SENHOR, nosso Senhor, quão excelente é teu nome em toda a terra! Que estabeleceste a tua glória sobre os céus.
2 Out of the mouth|strong="H6310" of babes|strong="H5768" and sucklings|strong="H3243" hast thou ordained|strong="H3245" strength|strong="H5797" because of thine enemies|strong="H6887", that thou mightest still|strong="H7673" the enemy|strong="H0341" and the avenger|strong="H5358".
2 Da boca dos bebês e das crianças de peito, tu ordenaste a força por causa dos teus inimigos, para que pudesses parar o inimigo e o vingador.
3 When I consider|strong="H7200" thy heavens|strong="H8064", the work|strong="H4639" of thy fingers|strong="H0676", the moon|strong="H3394" and the stars|strong="H3556", which thou hast ordained|strong="H3559";
3 Quando considero os teus céus, o trabalho dos teus dedos, a lua e as estrelas que tu ordenaste;
4 What is man|strong="H0582", that thou art mindful|strong="H2142" of him? and the son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", that thou visitest|strong="H6485" him?
4 o que é o homem, para que sejas cuidadoso com ele? E o filho do homem, para que o visites?
5 For thou hast made him a little|strong="H4592" lower|strong="H2637" than the angels|strong="H0430", and hast crowned|strong="H5849" him with glory|strong="H3519" and honour|strong="H1926".
5 Porque o fizeste por um pouco, menor do que os anjos, e o coroaste com glória e honra.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion|strong="H4910" over the works|strong="H4639" of thy hands|strong="H3027"; thou hast put|strong="H7896" all things under his feet|strong="H7272":
6 Tu fizeste com que ele tivesse domínio sobre as obras de tuas mãos; tu puseste todas as coisas debaixo de seus pés:
7 All sheep|strong="H6792" and oxen|strong="H0504", yea, and the beasts|strong="H0929" of the field|strong="H7704";
7 Todas as ovelhas e bois, sim, e os animais do campo;
8 The fowl|strong="H6833" of the air|strong="H8064", and the fish|strong="H1709" of the sea|strong="H3220", and whatsoever passeth through|strong="H5674" the paths|strong="H0734" of the seas|strong="H3220".
8 As aves do ar, e os peixes do mar, e tudo o que passa pelas veredas dos mares.
9 O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* our Lord|strong="H0113", how excellent|strong="H0117" is thy name|strong="H8034" in all the earth|strong="H0776"!
9 Ó SENHOR, nosso Senhor, quão excelente é o teu nome em toda a terra!
