Salmos 73

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

Truly God|strong="H0430" is good|strong="H2896" to Israel|strong="H3478", even to such as are of a clean|strong="H1249" heart|strong="H3824".

But as for me, my feet|strong="H7272" were almost|strong="H4592" gone|strong="H5186"; my steps|strong="H0838" had well nigh|strong="H0369" slipped|strong="H8210".

For I was envious|strong="H7065" at the foolish|strong="H1984", when I saw|strong="H7200" the prosperity|strong="H7965" of the wicked|strong="H7563".

For there are no bands|strong="H2784" in their death|strong="H4194": but their strength|strong="H0193" is firm|strong="H1277".

They are not in trouble|strong="H5999" as other men|strong="H0582"; neither are they plagued|strong="H5060" like|strong="H5973" other men|strong="H0120".

Therefore pride|strong="H1346" compasseth them about as a chain|strong="H6059"; violence|strong="H2555" covereth|strong="H5848" them as a garment|strong="H7897".

Their eyes|strong="H5869" stand out|strong="H3318" with fatness|strong="H2459": they have more|strong="H5674" than heart|strong="H3824" could wish|strong="H4906".

They are corrupt|strong="H4167", and speak|strong="H1696" wickedly|strong="H7451" concerning oppression|strong="H6233": they speak|strong="H1696" loftily|strong="H4791".

They set|strong="H8371" their mouth|strong="H6310" against the heavens|strong="H8064", and their tongue|strong="H3956" walketh|strong="H1980" through the earth|strong="H0776".

Therefore his people|strong="H5971" return|strong="H7725" hither|strong="H1988": and waters|strong="H4325" of a full|strong="H4392" cup are wrung out|strong="H4680" to them.

And they say|strong="H0559", How doth God|strong="H0410" know|strong="H3045"? and is there|strong="H3426" knowledge|strong="H1844" in the most High|strong="H5945"?

Behold, these are the ungodly|strong="H7563", who prosper|strong="H7961" in the world|strong="H5769"; they increase|strong="H7685" in riches|strong="H2428".

Verily I have cleansed|strong="H2135" my heart|strong="H3824" in vain|strong="H7385", and washed|strong="H7364" my hands|strong="H3709" in innocency|strong="H5356".

For all the day|strong="H3117" long have I been plagued|strong="H5060", and chastened|strong="H8433" every morning|strong="H1242".

If I say|strong="H0559", I will speak|strong="H5608" thus|strong="H3644"; behold, I should offend|strong="H0898" against the generation|strong="H1755" of thy children|strong="H1121".

When I thought|strong="H2803" to know|strong="H3045" this, it was too painful|strong="H5999" for me|strong="H5869";

Until I went|strong="H0935" into the sanctuary|strong="H4720" of God|strong="H0410"; then understood|strong="H0995" I their end|strong="H0319".

Surely thou didst set|strong="H7896" them in slippery places|strong="H2513": thou castedst them down|strong="H5307" into destruction|strong="H4876".

How are they brought into desolation|strong="H8047", as in a moment|strong="H7281"! they are utterly|strong="H5486" consumed|strong="H8552" with terrors|strong="H1091".

As a dream|strong="H2472" when one awaketh|strong="H6974"; so, O Lord|strong="H0136", when thou awakest|strong="H5782", thou shalt despise|strong="H0959" their image|strong="H6754".

Thus my heart|strong="H3824" was grieved|strong="H2556", and I was pricked|strong="H8150" in my reins|strong="H3629".

So foolish|strong="H1198" was I, and ignorant|strong="H3045": I was as a beast|strong="H0929" before thee.

Nevertheless I am continually|strong="H8548" with thee: thou hast holden|strong="H0270" me by my right|strong="H3225" hand|strong="H3027".

Thou shalt guide|strong="H5148" me with thy counsel|strong="H6098", and afterward|strong="H0310" receive|strong="H3947" me to glory|strong="H3519".

Whom have I in heaven|strong="H8064" but thee? and there is none upon earth|strong="H0776" that I desire|strong="H2654" beside thee.

My flesh|strong="H7607" and my heart|strong="H3824" faileth|strong="H3615": but God|strong="H0430" is the strength|strong="H6697" of my heart|strong="H3824", and my portion|strong="H2506" for ever|strong="H5769".

For, lo, they that are far|strong="H7369" from thee shall perish|strong="H0006": thou hast destroyed|strong="H6789" all them that go a whoring|strong="H2181" from thee.

But|strong="H0589" it is good|strong="H2896" for me to draw near|strong="H7132" to God|strong="H0430": I have put|strong="H7896" my trust|strong="H4268" in the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, that I may declare|strong="H5608" all thy works|strong="H4399".
