1 O God|strong="H0430", thou art my God|strong="H0410"; early will I seek|strong="H7836" thee: my soul|strong="H5315" thirsteth|strong="H6770" for thee, my flesh|strong="H1320" longeth|strong="H3642" for thee in a dry|strong="H6723" and thirsty|strong="H5889" land|strong="H0776", where no|strong="H1097" water|strong="H4325" is;
1 Ó Deus, tu és o meu Deus forte; eu te busco ansiosamente; a minha alma tem sede de ti; meu corpo te almeja, como terra árida, exausta, sem água.
2 To see|strong="H7200" thy power|strong="H5797" and thy glory|strong="H3519", so as I have seen|strong="H2372" thee in the sanctuary|strong="H6944".
2 Assim, eu te contemplo no santuário, para ver a tua força e a tua glória.
3 Because thy lovingkindness|strong="H2617" is better|strong="H2896" than life|strong="H2416", my lips|strong="H8193" shall praise|strong="H7623" thee.
3 Porque a tua graça é melhor do que a vida; os meus lábios te louvam.
4 Thus will I bless|strong="H1288" thee while I live|strong="H2416": I will lift up|strong="H5375" my hands|strong="H3709" in thy name|strong="H8034".
4 Assim, cumpre-me bendizer-te enquanto eu viver; em teu nome, levanto as mãos.
5 My soul|strong="H5315" shall be satisfied|strong="H7646" as with marrow|strong="H2459" and fatness|strong="H1880"; and my mouth|strong="H6310" shall praise|strong="H1984" thee with joyful|strong="H7445" lips|strong="H8193":
5 Como de banha e de gordura farta-se a minha alma; e, com júbilo nos lábios, a minha boca te louva,
6 When I remember|strong="H2142" thee upon my bed|strong="H3326", and meditate|strong="H1897" on thee in the night watches|strong="H0821".
6 no meu leito, quando de ti me recordo e em ti medito, durante a vigília da noite.
7 Because thou hast been my help|strong="H5833", therefore in the shadow|strong="H6738" of thy wings|strong="H3671" will I rejoice|strong="H7442".
7 Porque tu me tens sido auxílio; à sombra das tuas asas, eu canto jubiloso.
8 My soul|strong="H5315" followeth hard|strong="H1692" after|strong="H0310" thee: thy right hand|strong="H3225" upholdeth|strong="H8551" me.
8 A minha alma apega-se a ti; a tua destra me ampara.
9 But those that seek|strong="H1245" my soul|strong="H5315", to destroy|strong="H7722" it, shall go|strong="H0935" into the lower parts|strong="H8482" of the earth|strong="H0776".
9 Porém os que me procuram a vida para a destruir abismar-se-ão nas profundezas da terra.
10 They shall fall|strong="H5064" by the sword|strong="H3027": they shall be a portion|strong="H4521" for foxes|strong="H7776".
10 Serão entregues ao poder da espada e virão a ser pasto dos chacais.
11 But the king|strong="H4428" shall rejoice|strong="H8055" in God|strong="H0430"; every one that sweareth|strong="H7650" by him shall glory|strong="H1984": but the mouth|strong="H6310" of them that speak|strong="H1696" lies|strong="H8267" shall be stopped|strong="H5534".
11 O rei, porém, se alegra em Deus; quem por ele jura gloriar-se-á, pois se tapará a boca dos que proferem mentira.
