1 Why boastest|strong="H1984" thou thyself in mischief|strong="H7451", O mighty|strong="H1368" man? the goodness|strong="H2617" of God|strong="H0410" endureth continually|strong="H3117".
1 Por que te glorias na malícia, ó homem poderoso? pois a bondade de Deus subsiste em todo o tempo.
2 Thy tongue|strong="H3956" deviseth|strong="H2803" mischiefs|strong="H1942"; like a sharp|strong="H3913" razor|strong="H8593", working|strong="H6213" deceitfully|strong="H7423".
2 A tua língua maquina planos de destruição, como uma navalha afiada, ó tu que usas de dolo.
3 Thou lovest|strong="H0157" evil|strong="H7451" more than good|strong="H2896"; and lying|strong="H8267" rather than to speak|strong="H1696" righteousness|strong="H6664". Selah|strong="H5542".
3 Tu amas antes o mal do que o bem, e o mentir do que o falar a verdade.
4 Thou lovest|strong="H0157" all devouring|strong="H1105" words|strong="H1697", O thou deceitful|strong="H4820" tongue|strong="H3956".
4 Amas todas as palavras devoradoras, ó língua fraudulenta.
5 God|strong="H0410" shall likewise destroy|strong="H5422" thee for ever|strong="H5331", he shall take thee away|strong="H2846", and pluck thee out|strong="H5255" of thy dwelling place|strong="H0168", and root thee out|strong="H8327" of the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416". Selah|strong="H5542".
5 Também Deus te esmagará para sempre; arrebatar-te-á e arrancar-te-á da tua habitação, e desarraigar-te-á da terra dos viventes.
6 The righteous|strong="H6662" also shall see|strong="H7200", and fear|strong="H3372", and shall laugh|strong="H7832" at him:
6 Os justos o verão e temerão; e se rirão dele, dizendo:
7 Lo, this is the man|strong="H1397" that made|strong="H7760" not God|strong="H0430" his strength|strong="H4581"; but trusted|strong="H0982" in the abundance|strong="H7230" of his riches|strong="H6239", and strengthened|strong="H5810" himself in his wickedness|strong="H1942".
7 Eis aqui o homem que não tomou a Deus por sua fortaleza; antes confiava na abundância das suas riquezas, e se fortalecia na sua perversidade.
8 But I am like a green|strong="H7488" olive tree|strong="H2132" in the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430": I trust|strong="H0982" in the mercy|strong="H2617" of God|strong="H0430" for ever|strong="H5769" and ever|strong="H5703".
8 Mas eu sou qual oliveira verde na casa de Deus; confio na bondade de Deus para sempre e eternamente.
9 I will praise|strong="H3034" thee for ever|strong="H5769", because thou hast done|strong="H6213" it: and I will wait|strong="H6960" on thy name|strong="H8034"; for it is good|strong="H2896" before thy saints|strong="H2623".
9 Para sempre te louvarei, porque tu isso fizeste, e proclamarei o teu nome, porque é bom diante de teus santos.
