1 Responde-me quando eu clamar, ó Deus da minha justiça! Na angústia me deste largueza; tem misericórdia de mim e ouve a minha oração.
2 O ye sons|strong="H1121" of men|strong="H0376", how long|strong="H5704" will ye turn my glory|strong="H3519" into shame|strong="H3639"? how long will ye love|strong="H0157" vanity|strong="H7385", and seek|strong="H1245" after leasing|strong="H3577"? Selah|strong="H5542".
2 Filhos dos homens, até quando convertereis a minha glória em infâmia? Até quando amareis a vaidade e buscareis a mentira?
3 But know|strong="H3045" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath set apart|strong="H6395" him that is godly|strong="H2623" for himself: the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will hear|strong="H8085" when I call|strong="H7121" unto him.
3 Sabei que o Senhor separou para si aquele que é piedoso; o Senhor me ouve quando eu clamo a ele.
4 Stand in awe|strong="H7264", and sin|strong="H2398" not: commune|strong="H0559" with your own heart|strong="H3824" upon your bed|strong="H4904", and be still|strong="H1826". Selah|strong="H5542".
4 Irai-vos e não pequeis; consultai com o vosso coração em vosso leito, e calai-vos.
5 Offer|strong="H2076" the sacrifices|strong="H2077" of righteousness|strong="H6664", and put your trust|strong="H0982" in the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
5 Oferecei sacrifícios de justiça, e confiai no Senhor.
6 There be many|strong="H7227" that say|strong="H0559", Who will shew|strong="H7200" us any good|strong="H2896"? \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, lift thou up|strong="H5375" the light|strong="H0216" of thy countenance|strong="H6440" upon us.
6 Muitos dizem: Quem nos mostrará o bem? Levanta, Senhor, sobre nós a luz do teu rosto.
7 Thou hast put|strong="H5414" gladness|strong="H8057" in my heart|strong="H3820", more than in the time|strong="H6256" that their corn|strong="H1715" and their wine|strong="H8492" increased|strong="H7231".
7 Puseste no meu coração mais alegria do que a deles no tempo em que se lhes multiplicam o trigo e o vinho.
8 I will both|strong="H3162" lay me down|strong="H7901" in peace|strong="H7965", and sleep|strong="H3462": for thou, \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, only|strong="H0910" makest me dwell|strong="H3427" in safety|strong="H0983".
8 Em paz me deitarei e dormirei, porque só tu, Senhor, me fazes habitar em segurança.
