1 Ouve, Senhor , a causa justa, atende o meu clamor! Dá ouvidos à minha oração, pois ela não procede de lábios enganosos.
2 Let my sentence|strong="H4941" come forth|strong="H3318" from thy presence|strong="H6440"; let thine eyes|strong="H5869" behold|strong="H2372" the things that are equal|strong="H4339".
2 Venha da tua presença o julgamento a meu respeito; os teus olhos veem com equidade.
3 Thou hast proved|strong="H0974" mine heart|strong="H3820"; thou hast visited|strong="H6485" me in the night|strong="H3915"; thou hast tried|strong="H6884" me, and shalt find|strong="H4672" nothing; I am purposed|strong="H2161" that my mouth|strong="H6310" shall not transgress|strong="H5674".
3 Sondas o meu coração, de noite me visitas, provas-me no fogo e não encontras em mim nenhuma iniquidade; a minha boca não transgride.
4 Concerning the works|strong="H6468" of men|strong="H0120", by the word|strong="H1697" of thy lips|strong="H8193" I have kept|strong="H8104" me from the paths|strong="H0734" of the destroyer|strong="H6530".
4 Quanto às obras humanas, pela palavra dos teus lábios eu tenho me guardado dos caminhos do violento.

5 Os meus passos se acostumaram às tuas veredas, os meus pés não resvalaram.
6 I have called|strong="H7121" upon thee, for thou wilt hear|strong="H6030" me, O God|strong="H0410": incline|strong="H5186" thine ear|strong="H0241" unto me, \+w and hear|strong="H8085"\+w* my speech|strong="H0565".
6 Eu te invoco, ó Deus, pois tu me respondes; inclina os ouvidos para mim e ouve as minhas palavras.
7 Shew thy marvellous|strong="H6395" lovingkindness|strong="H2617", O thou that savest|strong="H3467" by thy right hand|strong="H3225" them which put their trust|strong="H2620" in thee from those that rise up|strong="H6965" against them.
7 Mostra as maravilhas da tua bondade, ó Salvador daqueles que à tua direita se refugiam dos seus adversários.
8 Keep|strong="H8104" me as the apple|strong="H0380" of the eye|strong="H1323", hide|strong="H5641" me under the shadow|strong="H6738" of thy wings|strong="H3671",
8 Guarda-me como a menina dos olhos; esconde-me à sombra das tuas asas.
9 From|strong="H6440" the wicked|strong="H7563" that|strong="H2098" oppress|strong="H7703" me, from my deadly|strong="H5315" enemies|strong="H0341", who compass me about|strong="H5362".
9 Protege-me dos perversos que me oprimem, dos inimigos que me assediam de morte.
10 They are inclosed|strong="H5462" in their own fat|strong="H2459": with their mouth|strong="H6310" they speak|strong="H1696" proudly|strong="H1348".
10 Insensíveis, eles cerram o coração e falam com lábios insolentes;
11 They have now compassed|strong="H5437" us in our steps|strong="H0838": they have set|strong="H7896" their eyes|strong="H5869" bowing down|strong="H5186" to the earth|strong="H0776";
11 andam agora cercando os nossos passos e fixam em nós os olhos para nos derrubar.
12 Like|strong="H1825" as a lion|strong="H0738" that is greedy|strong="H3700" of his prey|strong="H2963", and as it were a young lion|strong="H3715" lurking|strong="H3427" in secret places|strong="H4565".
12 Parecem-se com o leão, ávido por sua presa, ou o leãozinho, que espreita de emboscada.
13 Arise|strong="H6965", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, disappoint|strong="H6923" him|strong="H6440", cast him down|strong="H3766": deliver|strong="H6403" my soul|strong="H5315" from the wicked|strong="H7563", which is thy sword|strong="H2719":
13 Levanta-te, Senhor ! Enfrenta-os e arrasa-os! Com a tua espada livra a minha alma do ímpio.
14 From men|strong="H4962" which are thy hand|strong="H3027", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, from men|strong="H4962" of the world|strong="H2465", which have their portion|strong="H2506" in this life|strong="H2416", and whose belly|strong="H0990" thou fillest|strong="H4390" with thy hid|strong="H6840" treasure: they are full|strong="H7646" of children|strong="H1121", and leave|strong="H3240" the rest|strong="H3499" of their substance to their babes|strong="H5768".
14 Com a tua mão, Senhor , livra-me dos homens deste mundo, cuja porção é desta vida e cujo ventre tu enches com os teus tesouros; os quais se fartam de filhos e o que lhes sobra deixam aos seus pequeninos.
15 As for me, I will behold|strong="H2372" thy face|strong="H6440" in righteousness|strong="H6664": I shall be satisfied|strong="H7646", when I awake|strong="H6974", with thy likeness|strong="H8544".
15 Eu, porém, na justiça contemplarei a tua face; quando acordar, me satisfarei com a tua semelhança.
