1 Cântico das peregrinações. Senhor, lembrai-vos de Davi e de sua grande piedade,
2 How he sware|strong="H7650" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and vowed|strong="H5087" unto the mighty|strong="H0046" God of Jacob|strong="H3290";
2 como ele fez ao Senhor este juramento, e este voto ao Poderoso de Jacó:
3 Surely I will not come|strong="H0935" into the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of my house|strong="H1004", nor go up|strong="H5927" into my bed|strong="H6210";
3 Não entrarei na tenda em que moro, não me deitarei no leito de meu repouso,
4 I will not give|strong="H5414" sleep|strong="H8153" to mine eyes|strong="H5869", or slumber|strong="H8572" to mine eyelids|strong="H6079",
4 não darei sono aos meus olhos, nem repouso às minhas pálpebras,
5 Until I find out|strong="H4672" a place|strong="H4725" for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, an habitation|strong="H4908" for the mighty|strong="H0046" God of Jacob|strong="H3290".
5 até que encontre uma residência para o Senhor, uma morada ao Poderoso de Jacó.
6 Lo, we heard|strong="H8085" of it at Ephratah|strong="H0672": we found|strong="H4672" it in the fields|strong="H7704" of the wood|strong="H3293".
6 Ouvimos dizer que a arca estava em Éfrata, nós a encontramos nas campinas de Jaar.
7 We will go|strong="H0935" into his tabernacles|strong="H4908": we will worship|strong="H7812" at his footstool|strong="H1916".
7 Entremos em sua morada, prostremo-nos diante do escabelo de seus pés.
8 Arise|strong="H6965", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, into thy rest|strong="H4496"; thou, and the ark|strong="H0727" of thy strength|strong="H5797".
8 Levantai-vos, Senhor, para vir ao vosso repouso, vós e a arca de vossa majestade.
9 Let thy priests|strong="H3548" be clothed|strong="H3847" with righteousness|strong="H6664"; and let thy saints|strong="H2623" shout for joy|strong="H7442".
9 Vistam-se de justiça os vossos sacerdotes, e jubilosos cantem de alegria vossos fiéis.
10 For thy servant|strong="H5650" David’s|strong="H1732" sake turn not away|strong="H7725" the face|strong="H6440" of thine anointed|strong="H4899".
10 Pelo nome de Davi, vosso servo, não rejeiteis a face daquele que vos é consagrado.
11 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath sworn|strong="H7650" in truth|strong="H0571" unto David|strong="H1732"; he will not turn|strong="H7725" from it; Of the fruit|strong="H6529" of thy body|strong="H0990" will I set|strong="H7896" upon thy throne|strong="H3678".
11 O Senhor fez a Davi um juramento, de que não há de se retratar: Colocarei em teu trono um descendente de tua raça.
12 If thy children|strong="H1121" will keep|strong="H8104" my covenant|strong="H1285" and my testimony|strong="H5713" that|strong="H2090" I shall teach|strong="H3925" them, their children|strong="H1121" shall also sit|strong="H3427" upon thy throne|strong="H3678" for evermore|strong="H5703".
12 Se teus filhos guardarem minha aliança e os preceitos que eu lhes hei de ensinar, também os descendentes deles, para sempre, sentar-se-ão em teu trono.
13 For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath chosen|strong="H0977" Zion|strong="H6726"; he hath desired|strong="H0183" it for his habitation|strong="H4186".
13 Porque o Senhor escolheu Sião, ele a preferiu para sua morada.
14 This is my rest|strong="H4496" for ever|strong="H5703": here will I dwell|strong="H3427"; for I have desired|strong="H0183" it.
14 É aqui para sempre o lugar de meu repouso, é aqui que habitarei porque o escolhi.
15 I will abundantly|strong="H1288" bless|strong="H1288" her provision|strong="H6718": I will satisfy|strong="H7646" her poor|strong="H0034" with bread|strong="H3899".
15 Abençoarei copiosamente sua subsistência, fartarei de pão os seus pobres.
16 I will also clothe|strong="H3847" her priests|strong="H3548" with salvation|strong="H3468": and her saints|strong="H2623" shall shout aloud|strong="H7442" for joy|strong="H7444".
16 Revestirei de salvação seus sacerdotes, e seus fiéis exultarão de alegria.
17 There will I make|strong="H6779" the horn|strong="H7161" of David|strong="H1732" to bud|strong="H6779": I have ordained|strong="H6186" a lamp|strong="H5216" for mine anointed|strong="H4899".
17 Aí farei crescer o poder de Davi, aí prepararei uma lâmpada para o que me é consagrado.
18 His enemies|strong="H0341" will I clothe|strong="H3847" with shame|strong="H1322": but upon himself shall his crown|strong="H5145" flourish|strong="H6692".
18 Cobrirei de confusão seus inimigos; em sua fronte, porém, brilhará meu diadema.
