1 Wisdom|strong="H2454" hath builded|strong="H1129" her house|strong="H1004", she hath hewn out|strong="H2672" her seven|strong="H7651" pillars|strong="H5982":
1 A sabedoria já edificou a sua casa, já lavrou as suas sete colunas;
2 She hath killed|strong="H2873" her beasts|strong="H2874"; she hath mingled|strong="H4537" her wine|strong="H3196"; she hath also furnished|strong="H6186" her table|strong="H7979".
2 já imolou as suas vítimas, misturou o seu vinho, e preparou a sua mesa.
3 She hath sent forth|strong="H7971" her maidens|strong="H5291": she crieth|strong="H7121" upon|strong="H1610" the highest places|strong="H4791" of the city|strong="H7176",
3 Já enviou as suas criadas a clamar sobre as alturas da cidade, dizendo:
4 Whoso is simple|strong="H6612", let him turn in|strong="H5493" hither: as for him that wanteth|strong="H2638" understanding|strong="H3820", she saith|strong="H0559" to him,
4 Quem é simples, volte-se para cá. Aos faltos de entendimento diz:
5 Come|strong="H3212", eat|strong="H3898" of my bread|strong="H3899", and drink|strong="H8354" of the wine|strong="H3196" which I have mingled|strong="H4537".
5 Vinde, comei do meu pão, e bebei do vinho que tenho misturado.
6 Forsake|strong="H5800" the foolish|strong="H6612", and live|strong="H2421"; and go|strong="H0833" in the way|strong="H1870" of understanding|strong="H0998".
6 Deixai a insensatez, e vivei; e andai pelo caminho do entendimento.
7 He that reproveth|strong="H3256" a scorner|strong="H3887" getteth|strong="H3947" to himself shame|strong="H7036": and he that rebuketh|strong="H3198" a wicked|strong="H7563" man getteth himself a blot|strong="H3971".
7 O que repreende ao escarnecedor, traz afronta sobre si; e o que censura ao ímpio, recebe a sua mancha.
8 Reprove|strong="H3198" not a scorner|strong="H3887", lest he hate|strong="H8130" thee: rebuke|strong="H3198" a wise man|strong="H2450", and he will love|strong="H0157" thee.
8 Não repreendas ao escarnecedor, para que não te odeie; repreende ao sábio, e amar-te-á.
9 Give|strong="H5414" instruction to a wise|strong="H2450" man, and he will be yet wiser|strong="H2449": teach|strong="H3045" a just|strong="H6662" man, and he will increase|strong="H3254" in learning|strong="H3948".
9 Instrui ao sábio, e ele se fará mais, sábio; ensina ao justo, e ele crescerá em entendimento.
10 The fear|strong="H3374" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is the beginning|strong="H8462" of wisdom|strong="H2451": and the knowledge|strong="H1847" of the holy|strong="H6918" is understanding|strong="H0998".
10 O temor do Senhor é o princípio sabedoria; e o conhecimento do Santo é o entendimento.
11 For by me thy days|strong="H3117" shall be multiplied|strong="H7235", and the years|strong="H8141" of thy life|strong="H2416" shall be increased|strong="H3254".
11 Porque por mim se multiplicam os teus dias, e anos de vida se te acrescentarão.
12 If thou be wise|strong="H2449", thou shalt be wise|strong="H2449" for thyself: but if thou scornest|strong="H3887", thou alone shalt bear|strong="H5375" it.
12 Se fores sábio, para ti mesmo o serás; e, se fores escarnecedor, tu só o suportarás.
13 A foolish|strong="H3687" woman|strong="H0802" is clamorous|strong="H1993": she is simple|strong="H6615", and|strong="H1077" knoweth|strong="H3045" nothing|strong="H4100".
13 A mulher tola é alvoroçadora; é insensata, e não conhece o pudor.
14 For she sitteth|strong="H3427" at the door|strong="H6607" of her house|strong="H1004", on a seat|strong="H3678" in the high places|strong="H4791" of the city|strong="H7176",
14 Senta-se à porta da sua casa ou numa cadeira, nas alturas da cidade,
15 To call|strong="H7121" passengers|strong="H5674" who go right|strong="H3474" on their ways|strong="H0734":
15 chamando aos que passam e seguem direitos o seu caminho:
16 Whoso is simple|strong="H6612", let him turn in|strong="H5493" hither: and as for him that wanteth|strong="H2638" understanding|strong="H3820", she saith|strong="H0559" to him,
16 Quem é simples, volte-se para cá! E aos faltos de entendimento diz:
17 Stolen|strong="H1589" waters|strong="H4325" are sweet|strong="H4985", and bread|strong="H3899" eaten in secret|strong="H5643" is pleasant|strong="H5276".
17 As águas roubadas são doces, e o pão comido às ocultas é agradável.
18 But he knoweth|strong="H3045" not that the dead|strong="H7496" are there; and that her guests|strong="H7121" are in the depths|strong="H6012" of hell|strong="H7585".
18 Mas ele não sabe que ali estão os mortos; que os seus convidados estão nas profundezas do Seol.
