1 The wicked|strong="H7563" flee|strong="H5127" when no man pursueth|strong="H7291": but the righteous|strong="H6662" are bold|strong="H0982" as a lion|strong="H3715".
1 Fogem os ímpios, sem que ninguém os persiga; mas os justos são ousados como o leão.
2 For the transgression|strong="H6588" of a land|strong="H0776" many|strong="H7227" are the princes|strong="H8269" thereof: but by a man|strong="H0120" of understanding|strong="H0995" and knowledge|strong="H3045" the state|strong="H3651" thereof shall be prolonged|strong="H0748".
2 Por causa da transgressão duma terra são muitos os seus príncipes; mas por virtude de homens prudentes e entendidos, ela subsistirá por longo tempo.
3 A poor|strong="H7326" man|strong="H1397" that oppresseth|strong="H6231" the poor|strong="H1800" is like a sweeping|strong="H5502" rain|strong="H4306" which leaveth no food|strong="H3899".
3 O homem pobre que oprime os pobres, é como chuva impetuosa, que não deixa trigo nenhum.
4 They that forsake|strong="H5800" the law|strong="H8451" praise|strong="H1984" the wicked|strong="H7563": but such as keep|strong="H8104" the law|strong="H8451" contend|strong="H1624" with them.
4 Os que abandonam a lei louvam os ímpios; mas os que guardam a lei pelejam contra eles.
5 Evil|strong="H7451" men|strong="H0582" understand|strong="H0995" not judgment|strong="H4941": but they that seek|strong="H1245" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* understand|strong="H0995" all things.
5 Os homens maus não entendem a justiça; mas os que buscam ao Senhor a entendem plenamente.
6 Better|strong="H2896" is the poor|strong="H7326" that walketh|strong="H1980" in his uprightness|strong="H8537", than he that is perverse|strong="H6141" in his ways|strong="H1870", though he be rich|strong="H6223".
6 Melhor é o pobre que anda na sua integridade, do que o rico perverso nos seus caminhos.
7 Whoso keepeth|strong="H5341" the law|strong="H8451" is a wise|strong="H0995" son|strong="H1121": but he that is a companion|strong="H7462" of riotous|strong="H2151" men shameth|strong="H3637" his father|strong="H0001".
7 O que guarda a lei é filho sábio; mas o companheiro dos comilões envergonha a seu pai.
8 He that by usury|strong="H5392" and unjust gain|strong="H8636" increaseth|strong="H7235" his substance|strong="H1952", he shall gather|strong="H6908" it for him that will pity|strong="H2603" the poor|strong="H1800".
8 O que aumenta a sua riqueza com juros e usura, ajunta-a para o que se compadece do pobre.
9 He that turneth away|strong="H5493" his ear|strong="H0241" from hearing|strong="H8085" the law|strong="H8451", even his prayer|strong="H8605" shall be abomination|strong="H8441".
9 O que desvia os seus ouvidos de ouvir a lei, até a sua oração é abominável.
10 Whoso causeth the righteous|strong="H3477" to go astray|strong="H7686" in an evil|strong="H7451" way|strong="H1870", he shall fall|strong="H5307" himself into his own pit|strong="H7816": but the upright|strong="H8549" shall have good|strong="H2896" things in possession|strong="H5157".
10 O que faz com que os retos se desviem para um mau caminho, ele mesmo cairá na cova que abriu; mas os inocentes herdarão o bem.
11 The rich|strong="H6223" man|strong="H0376" is wise|strong="H2450" in his own conceit|strong="H5869"; but the poor|strong="H1800" that hath understanding|strong="H0995" searcheth him out|strong="H2713".
11 O homem rico é sábio aos seus próprios olhos; mas o pobre que tem entendimento o esquadrinha.
12 When righteous|strong="H6662" men do rejoice|strong="H5970", there is great|strong="H7227" glory|strong="H8597": but when the wicked|strong="H7563" rise|strong="H6965", a man|strong="H0120" is hidden|strong="H2664".
12 Quando os justos triunfam há grande, glória; mas quando os ímpios sobem, escondem-se os homens.
13 He that covereth|strong="H3680" his sins|strong="H6588" shall not prosper|strong="H6743": but whoso confesseth|strong="H3034" and forsaketh|strong="H5800" them shall have mercy|strong="H7355".
13 O que encobre as suas transgressões nunca prosperará; mas o que as confessa e deixa, alcançará misericórdia.
14 Happy|strong="H0835" is the man|strong="H0120" that feareth|strong="H6342" alway|strong="H8548": but he that hardeneth|strong="H7185" his heart|strong="H3820" shall fall|strong="H5307" into mischief|strong="H7451".
14 Feliz é o homem que teme ao Senhor continuamente; mas o que endurece o seu coração virá a cair no mal.
15 As a roaring|strong="H5098" lion|strong="H0738", and a ranging|strong="H8264" bear|strong="H1677"; so is a wicked|strong="H7563" ruler|strong="H4910" over the poor|strong="H1800" people|strong="H5971".
15 Como leão bramidor, e urso faminto, assim é o ímpio que domina sobre um povo pobre.
16 The prince|strong="H5057" that wanteth|strong="H2638" understanding|strong="H8394" is also a great|strong="H7227" oppressor|strong="H4642": but he that hateth|strong="H8130" covetousness|strong="H1215" shall prolong|strong="H0748" his days|strong="H3117".
16 O príncipe falto de entendimento é também opressor cruel; mas o que aborrece a avareza prolongará os seus dias.
17 A man|strong="H0120" that doeth violence|strong="H6231" to the blood|strong="H1818" of any person|strong="H5315" shall flee|strong="H5127" to the pit|strong="H0953"; let no man stay|strong="H8551" him.
17 O homem culpado do sangue de qualquer pessoa será fugitivo até a morte; ninguém o ajude.
18 Whoso walketh|strong="H1980" uprightly|strong="H8549" shall be saved|strong="H3467": but he that is perverse|strong="H6140" in his ways|strong="H1870" shall fall|strong="H5307" at once|strong="H0259".
18 O que anda retamente salvar-se-á; mas o perverso em seus caminhos cairá de repente.
19 He that tilleth|strong="H5647" his land|strong="H0127" shall have plenty|strong="H7646" of bread|strong="H3899": but he that followeth|strong="H7291" after vain|strong="H7386" persons shall have poverty enough|strong="H7389".
19 O que lavra a sua terra se fartará de pão; mas o que segue os ociosos se encherá de pobreza.
20 A faithful|strong="H0530" man|strong="H0376" shall abound|strong="H7227" with blessings|strong="H1293": but he that maketh haste|strong="H0213" to be rich|strong="H6238" shall not be innocent|strong="H5352".
20 O homem fiel gozará de abundantes bênçãos; mas o que se apressa a enriquecer não ficará impune.
21 To have respect|strong="H5234" of persons|strong="H6440" is not good|strong="H2896": for for a piece|strong="H6595" of bread|strong="H3899" that man|strong="H1397" will transgress|strong="H6586".
21 Fazer acepção de pessoas não é bom; mas até por um bocado de pão prevaricará o homem.
22 He|strong="H0376" that hasteth|strong="H0926" to be rich|strong="H1952" hath an evil|strong="H7451" eye|strong="H5869", and considereth|strong="H3045" not that poverty|strong="H2639" shall come|strong="H0935" upon him.
22 Aquele que é cobiçoso corre atrás das riquezas; e não sabe que há de vir sobre ele a penúria.
23 He that rebuketh|strong="H3198" a man|strong="H0120" afterwards|strong="H0310" shall find|strong="H4672" more favour|strong="H2580" than he that flattereth|strong="H2505" with the tongue|strong="H3956".
23 O que repreende a um homem achará depois mais favor do que aquele que lisonjeia com a língua.
24 Whoso robbeth|strong="H1497" his father|strong="H0001" or his mother|strong="H0517", and saith|strong="H0559", It is no transgression|strong="H6588"; the same is the companion|strong="H2270" of a destroyer|strong="H0376".
24 O que rouba a seu pai, ou a sua mãe, e diz: Isso não é transgressão; esse é companheiro do destruidor.
25 He that is of a proud|strong="H7342" heart|strong="H5315" stirreth up|strong="H1624" strife|strong="H4066": but he that putteth his trust|strong="H0982" in the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall be made fat|strong="H1878".
25 O cobiçoso levanta contendas; mas o que confia no senhor prosperará.
26 He that trusteth|strong="H0982" in his own heart|strong="H3820" is a fool|strong="H3684": but whoso walketh|strong="H1980" wisely|strong="H2451", he shall be delivered|strong="H4422".
26 O que confia no seu próprio coração é insensato; mas o que anda sabiamente será livre.
27 He that giveth|strong="H5414" unto the poor|strong="H7326" shall not lack|strong="H4270": but he that hideth|strong="H5956" his eyes|strong="H5869" shall have many|strong="H7227" a curse|strong="H3994".
27 O que dá ao pobre não terá falta; mas o que esconde os seus olhos terá muitas maldições.
28 When the wicked|strong="H7563" rise|strong="H6965", men|strong="H0120" hide|strong="H5641" themselves: but when they perish|strong="H0006", the righteous|strong="H6662" increase|strong="H7235".
28 Quando os ímpios sobem, escondem-se os homens; mas quando eles perecem, multiplicam-se os justos.
