1 Whoso loveth|strong="H0157" instruction|strong="H4148" loveth|strong="H0157" knowledge|strong="H1847": but he that hateth|strong="H8130" reproof|strong="H8433" is brutish|strong="H1198".
1 O que ama a correção ama o conhecimento; mas o que aborrece a repreensão é insensato.
2 A good|strong="H2896" man obtaineth|strong="H6329" favour|strong="H7522" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: but a man|strong="H0376" of wicked devices|strong="H4209" will he condemn|strong="H7561".
2 O homem de bem alcançará o favor do Senhor; mas ao homem de perversos desígnios ele condenará.
3 A man|strong="H0120" shall not be established|strong="H3559" by wickedness|strong="H7562": but the root|strong="H8328" of the righteous|strong="H6662" shall not be moved|strong="H4131".
3 O homem não se estabelece pela impiedade; a raiz dos justos, porém, nunca será, removida.
4 A virtuous|strong="H2428" woman|strong="H0802" is a crown|strong="H5850" to her husband|strong="H1167": but she that maketh ashamed|strong="H0954" is as rottenness|strong="H7538" in his bones|strong="H6106".
4 A mulher virtuosa é a coroa do seu marido; porém a que procede vergonhosamente é como apodrecimento nos seus ossos.
5 The thoughts|strong="H4284" of the righteous|strong="H6662" are right|strong="H4941": but the counsels|strong="H8458" of the wicked|strong="H7563" are deceit|strong="H4820".
5 Os pensamentos do justo são retos; mas os conselhos do ímpio são falsos.
6 The words|strong="H1697" of the wicked|strong="H7563" are to lie in wait|strong="H0693" for blood|strong="H1818": but the mouth|strong="H6310" of the upright|strong="H3477" shall deliver|strong="H5337" them.
6 As palavras dos ímpios são emboscadas para derramarem sangue; a boca dos retos, porém, os livrará.
7 The wicked|strong="H7563" are overthrown|strong="H2015", and are not: but the house|strong="H1004" of the righteous|strong="H6662" shall stand|strong="H5975".
7 Transtornados serão os ímpios, e não serão mais; porém a casa dos justos permanecerá.
8 A man|strong="H0376" shall be commended|strong="H1984" according|strong="H6310" to his wisdom|strong="H7922": but he that is of a perverse|strong="H5753" heart|strong="H3820" shall be despised|strong="H0937".
8 Segundo o seu entendimento é louvado o homem; mas o perverso decoração é desprezado.
9 He that is despised|strong="H7034", and hath a servant|strong="H5650", is better|strong="H2896" than he that honoureth|strong="H3513" himself, and lacketh|strong="H2638" bread|strong="H3899".
9 Melhor é o que é estimado em pouco e tem servo, do que quem se honra a si mesmo e tem falta de pão.
10 A righteous|strong="H6662" man regardeth|strong="H3045" the life|strong="H5315" of his beast|strong="H0929": but the tender mercies|strong="H7356" of the wicked|strong="H7563" are cruel|strong="H0394".
10 O justo olha pela vida dos seus animais; porém as entranhas dos ímpios são cruéis.
11 He that tilleth|strong="H5647" his land|strong="H0127" shall be satisfied|strong="H7646" with bread|strong="H3899": but he that followeth|strong="H7291" vain|strong="H7386" persons is void|strong="H2638" of understanding|strong="H3820".
11 O que lavra a sua terra se fartará de pão; mas o que segue os ociosos é falto de entendimento.
12 The wicked|strong="H7563" desireth|strong="H2530" the net|strong="H4685" of evil|strong="H7451" men: but the root|strong="H8328" of the righteous|strong="H6662" yieldeth|strong="H5414" fruit.
12 Deseja o ímpio o despojo dos maus; porém a raiz dos justos produz o seu próprio fruto.
13 The wicked|strong="H7451" is snared|strong="H4170" by the transgression|strong="H6588" of his lips|strong="H8193": but the just|strong="H6662" shall come out|strong="H3318" of trouble|strong="H6869".
13 Pela transgressão dos lábios se enlaça o mau; mas o justo escapa da angústia.
14 A man|strong="H0376" shall be satisfied|strong="H7646" with good|strong="H2896" by the fruit|strong="H6529" of his mouth|strong="H6310": and the recompence|strong="H1576" of a man’s|strong="H0120" hands|strong="H3027" shall be rendered|strong="H7725" unto him.
14 Do fruto das suas palavras o homem se farta de bem; e das obras das suas mãos se lhe retribui.
15 The way|strong="H1870" of a fool|strong="H0191" is right|strong="H3477" in his own eyes|strong="H5869": but he that hearkeneth|strong="H8085" unto counsel|strong="H6098" is wise|strong="H2450".
15 O caminho do insensato é reto aos seus olhos; mas o que dá ouvidos ao conselho é sábio.
16 A fool’s|strong="H0191" wrath|strong="H3708" is presently|strong="H3117" known|strong="H3045": but a prudent|strong="H6175" man covereth|strong="H3680" shame|strong="H7036".
16 A ira do insensato logo se revela; mas o prudente encobre a afronta.
17 He that speaketh|strong="H6315" truth|strong="H0530" sheweth forth|strong="H5046" righteousness|strong="H6664": but a false|strong="H8267" witness|strong="H5707" deceit|strong="H4820".
17 Quem fala a verdade manifesta a justiça; porém a testemunha falsa produz a fraude.
18 There is|strong="H3426" that speaketh|strong="H0981" like the piercings|strong="H4094" of a sword|strong="H2719": but the tongue|strong="H3956" of the wise|strong="H2450" is health|strong="H4832".
18 Há palrador cujas palavras ferem como espada; porém a língua dos sábios traz saúde.
19 The lip|strong="H8193" of truth|strong="H0571" shall be established|strong="H3559" for ever|strong="H5703": but a lying|strong="H8267" tongue|strong="H3956" is but for a moment|strong="H7280".
19 O lábio veraz permanece para sempre; mas a língua mentirosa dura só um momento.
20 Deceit|strong="H4820" is in the heart|strong="H3820" of them that imagine|strong="H2790" evil|strong="H7451": but to the counsellors|strong="H3289" of peace|strong="H7965" is joy|strong="H8057".
20 Engano há no coração dos que maquinam o mal; mas há gozo para os que aconselham a paz.
21 There shall no evil|strong="H0205" happen|strong="H0579" to the just|strong="H6662": but the wicked|strong="H7563" shall be filled|strong="H4390" with mischief|strong="H7451".
21 Nenhuma desgraça sobrevém ao justo; mas os ímpios ficam cheios de males.
22 Lying|strong="H8267" lips|strong="H8193" are abomination|strong="H8441" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: but they that deal|strong="H6213" truly|strong="H0530" are his delight|strong="H7522".
22 Os lábios mentirosos são abomináveis ao Senhor; mas os que praticam a verdade são o seu deleite.
23 A prudent|strong="H6175" man|strong="H0120" concealeth|strong="H3680" knowledge|strong="H1847": but the heart|strong="H3820" of fools|strong="H3684" proclaimeth|strong="H7121" foolishness|strong="H0200".
23 O homem prudente encobre o conhecimento; mas o coração dos tolos proclama a estultícia.
24 The hand|strong="H3027" of the diligent|strong="H2742" shall bear rule|strong="H4910": but the slothful|strong="H7423" shall be under tribute|strong="H4522".
24 A mão dos diligentes dominará; mas o indolente será tributário servil.
25 Heaviness|strong="H1674" in the heart|strong="H3820" of man|strong="H0376" maketh it stoop|strong="H7812": but a good|strong="H2896" word|strong="H1697" maketh it glad|strong="H8055".
25 A ansiedade no coração do homem o abate; mas uma boa palavra o alegra.
26 The righteous|strong="H6662" is more excellent|strong="H8446" than his neighbour|strong="H7453": but the way|strong="H1870" of the wicked|strong="H7563" seduceth|strong="H8582" them.
26 O justo é um guia para o seu próximo; mas o caminho dos ímpios os faz errar.
27 The slothful|strong="H7423" man roasteth|strong="H2760" not that which he took in hunting|strong="H6718": but the substance|strong="H1952" of a diligent|strong="H2742" man|strong="H0120" is precious|strong="H3368".
27 O preguiçoso não apanha a sua caça; mas o bem precioso do homem é para o diligente.
28 In the way|strong="H0734" of righteousness|strong="H6666" is life|strong="H2416"; and in the pathway|strong="H5410" thereof there is no death|strong="H4194".
28 Na vereda da justiça está a vida; e no seu caminho não há morte.
