16 \+w So|strong="G3779"\+w* \+w the last|strong="G2078"\+w* \+w shall be|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w first|strong="G4413"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the first|strong="G4413"\+w* \+w last|strong="G2078"\+w*: \+w for|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w many|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w be|strong="G1526"\+w* \+w called|strong="G2822"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w few|strong="G3641"\+w* \+w chosen|strong="G1588"\+w*.
17 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" going up|strong="G0305" to|strong="G1519" Jerusalem|strong="G2414" took|strong="G3880" the twelve|strong="G1427" disciples|strong="G3101" apart|strong="G2398" in|strong="G1722" the way|strong="G3598", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036" unto them|strong="G0846",
18 \+w Behold|strong="G2400"\+w*, \+w we go up|strong="G0305"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w Jerusalem|strong="G2414"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w shall be betrayed|strong="G3860"\+w* \+w unto the chief priests|strong="G0749"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w unto the scribes|strong="G1122"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w they shall condemn|strong="G2632"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w to death|strong="G2288"\+w*,
19 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w shall deliver|strong="G3860"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w to the Gentiles|strong="G1484"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w mock|strong="G1702"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to scourge|strong="G3146"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to crucify|strong="G4717"\+w* \+add him\+add*: \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the|strong="G2250"\+w* \+w third|strong="G5154"\+w* \+w day|strong="G2250"\+w* \+w he shall rise again|strong="G0450"\+w*.
20 Then|strong="G5119" came|strong="G4334" to him|strong="G0846" the mother|strong="G3384" of|strong="G5207" Zebedee’s|strong="G2199" children|strong="G5207" with|strong="G3326" her|strong="G0846" sons|strong="G5207", worshipping|strong="G4352" him, and|strong="G2532" desiring|strong="G0154" a certain thing|strong="G5100" of|strong="G3844" him|strong="G0846".
21 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036" unto her|strong="G0846", \+w What|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w wilt thou|strong="G2309"\+w*? 24 And|strong="G2532" when|strong="G0191" the ten|strong="G1176" heard|strong="G0191" it, they were moved with indignation|strong="G0023" against|strong="G4012" the two|strong="G1417" brethren|strong="G0080".
25 But|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" called|strong="G4341" them|strong="G0846" unto him, and said|strong="G2036", \+w Ye know|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w the princes|strong="G0758"\+w* \+w of the Gentiles|strong="G1484"\+w* \+w exercise dominion over|strong="G2634"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w they that are great|strong="G3173"\+w* \+w exercise authority upon|strong="G2715"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*.
26 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w it shall|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w be|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w so|strong="G3779"\+w* \+w among|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5213"\+w*: \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w whosoever|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w will be|strong="G2309"\+w* \+w great|strong="G3173"\+w* \+w among|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w let him|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w be|strong="G2077"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w minister|strong="G1249"\+w*;
27 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w whosoever|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w will|strong="G2309"\+w* \+w be|strong="G1511"\+w* \+w chief|strong="G4413"\+w* \+w among|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w let him be|strong="G2077"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w servant|strong="G1401"\+w*:
28 \+w Even as|strong="G5618"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w came|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w to be ministered unto|strong="G1247"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w to minister|strong="G1247"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w to give|strong="G1325"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w life|strong="G5590"\+w* \+w a ransom|strong="G3083"\+w* \+w for|strong="G0473"\+w* \+w many|strong="G4183"\+w*.
29 And|strong="G2532" as|strong="G1607" they|strong="G0846" departed|strong="G1607" from|strong="G0575" Jericho|strong="G2410", a|strong="G3793" great|strong="G4183" multitude|strong="G3793" followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
30 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", two|strong="G1417" blind men|strong="G5185" sitting|strong="G2521" by|strong="G3844" the way side|strong="G3598", when they heard|strong="G0191" that|strong="G3754" Jesus|strong="G2424" passed by|strong="G3855", cried out|strong="G2896", saying|strong="G3004", Have mercy on|strong="G1653" us|strong="G2248", O Lord|strong="G2962", thou Son|strong="G5207" of David|strong="G1138".
31 And|strong="G1161" the multitude|strong="G3793" rebuked|strong="G2008" them|strong="G0846", because|strong="G2443" they should hold their peace|strong="G4623": but|strong="G1161" they cried|strong="G2896" the more|strong="G3185", saying|strong="G3004", Have mercy on|strong="G1653" us|strong="G2248", O Lord|strong="G2962", thou Son|strong="G5207" of David|strong="G1138".
32 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" stood still|strong="G2476", and called|strong="G5455" them|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" said|strong="G2036", \+w What|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w will ye|strong="G2309"\+w* \+w that I shall do|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*?
33 They say|strong="G3004" unto him|strong="G0846", Lord|strong="G2962", that|strong="G2443" our|strong="G2257" eyes|strong="G3788" may be opened|strong="G0455".
34 So|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" had compassion|strong="G4697" on them, and touched|strong="G0680" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788": and|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G2112" their|strong="G0846" eyes|strong="G3788" received sight|strong="G0308", and|strong="G2532" they followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
