1 And I said|strong="H0559", Hear|strong="H8085", I pray you, O heads|strong="H7218" of Jacob|strong="H3290", and ye princes|strong="H7101" of the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478"; Is it not for you to know|strong="H3045" judgment|strong="H4941"?
1 Eu disse: Escutem agora, governantes de Jacó e chefes da casa de Israel: Por acaso não é a vocês que compete conhecer a justiça?
2 Who hate|strong="H8130" the good|strong="H2896", and love|strong="H0157" the evil|strong="H7451"; who pluck off|strong="H1497" their skin|strong="H5785" from off them, and their flesh|strong="H7607" from off their bones|strong="H6106";
2 Mas vocês odeiam o bem e amam o mal; arrancam a pele do meu povo e a carne de cima dos seus ossos.
3 Who also eat|strong="H0398" the flesh|strong="H7607" of my people|strong="H5971", and flay|strong="H6584" their skin|strong="H5785" from off them; and they break|strong="H6476" their bones|strong="H6106", and chop them in pieces|strong="H6566", as for the pot|strong="H5518", and as flesh|strong="H1320" within|strong="H8432" the caldron|strong="H7037".
3 Vocês comem a carne do meu povo e lhes arrancam a pele; quebram os seus ossos, e os repartem em pedaços que vão para a panela e em carne que vai para o caldeirão.
4 Then shall they cry|strong="H2199" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, but he will not hear|strong="H6030" them: he will even hide|strong="H5641" his face|strong="H6440" from them at that time|strong="H6256", as they have behaved themselves ill|strong="H7489" in their doings|strong="H4611".
4 Um dia eles hão de invocar o mas ele não os ouvirá; naquele tempo, esconderá deles a sua face, por causa do mal que praticaram.
5 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* concerning the prophets|strong="H5030" that make my people|strong="H5971" err|strong="H8582", that bite|strong="H5391" with their teeth|strong="H8127", and cry|strong="H7121", Peace|strong="H7965"; and he that putteth|strong="H5414" not into their mouths|strong="H6310", they even prepare|strong="H6942" war|strong="H4421" against him.
5 Assim diz o Senhor a respeito dos profetas que fazem o meu povo andar errante e que clamam: “Paz”, quando têm o que mastigar, mas apregoam guerra santa contra aqueles que não lhes dão nada para comer:
6 Therefore night|strong="H3915" shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision|strong="H2377"; and it shall be dark|strong="H2821" unto you, that ye shall not divine|strong="H7080"; and the sun|strong="H8121" shall go down|strong="H0935" over the prophets|strong="H5030", and the day|strong="H3117" shall be dark|strong="H6937" over them.
6 “Por isso, vocês terão noites sem visões; vocês terão trevas sem adivinhações. O sol se porá sobre os profetas, e o dia se transformará em escuridão.
7 Then shall the seers|strong="H2374" be ashamed|strong="H0954", and the diviners|strong="H7080" confounded|strong="H2659": yea, they shall all cover|strong="H5844" their lips|strong="H8222"; for there is no answer|strong="H4617" of God|strong="H0430".
7 Os videntes serão envergonhados, e os adivinhos serão humilhados. Todos eles colocarão a mão sobre a boca, porque não haverá resposta de Deus.”
8 But truly|strong="H0199" I am full|strong="H4390" of power|strong="H3581" by the spirit|strong="H7307" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and of judgment|strong="H4941", and of might|strong="H1369", to declare|strong="H5046" unto Jacob|strong="H3290" his transgression|strong="H6588", and to Israel|strong="H3478" his sin|strong="H2403".
8 Quanto a mim, estou cheio do poder do Espírito do cheio de justiça e de força, para declarar a Jacó a sua transgressão e a Israel, o seu pecado.
9 Hear|strong="H8085" this, I pray you, ye heads|strong="H7218" of the house|strong="H1004" of Jacob|strong="H3290", and princes|strong="H7101" of the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", that abhor|strong="H8581" judgment|strong="H4941", and pervert|strong="H6140" all equity|strong="H3477".
9 Escutem agora isto, governantes da casa de Jacó e chefes da casa de Israel, vocês que detestam a justiça e pervertem tudo o que é correto,
10 They build up|strong="H1129" Zion|strong="H6726" with blood|strong="H1818", and Jerusalem|strong="H3389" with iniquity|strong="H5766".
10 que edificam Sião com sangue e Jerusalém, com iniquidade.
11 The heads|strong="H7218" thereof judge|strong="H8199" for reward|strong="H7810", and the priests|strong="H3548" thereof teach|strong="H3384" for hire|strong="H4242", and the prophets|strong="H5030" thereof divine|strong="H7080" for money|strong="H3701": yet will they lean|strong="H8172" upon the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and say|strong="H0559", Is not the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* among|strong="H7130" us? none evil|strong="H7451" can come|strong="H0935" upon us.
11 Os seus cabeças dão as sentenças por suborno, os seus sacerdotes ensinam por interesse, e os seus profetas adivinham por dinheiro. E ainda se apoiam no dizendo: “Não está o no meio de nós? Nenhum mal nos sobrevirá.”
12 Therefore shall Zion|strong="H6726" for your sake|strong="H1558" be plowed|strong="H2790" as a field|strong="H7704", and Jerusalem|strong="H3389" shall become heaps|strong="H5856", and the mountain|strong="H2022" of the house|strong="H1004" as the high places|strong="H1116" of the forest|strong="H3293".
12 Portanto, por causa de vocês, Sião será lavrada como um campo, e Jerusalém se tornará um montão de ruínas, e o monte do templo, numa colina coberta de mato.
