1 Eu sou o homem que viu a aflição causada pela vara do furor de Deus.
2 He hath led|strong="H5090" me, and brought|strong="H3212" me into darkness|strong="H2822", but not into light|strong="H0216".
2 Ele me levou e me fez andar nas trevas e não na luz.
3 Surely against me is he turned|strong="H7725"; he turneth|strong="H2015" his hand|strong="H3027" against me all the day|strong="H3117".
3 Certamente ele voltou a sua mão contra mim, sem parar, todo o dia.
4 My flesh|strong="H1320" and my skin|strong="H5785" hath he made old|strong="H1086"; he hath broken|strong="H7665" my bones|strong="H6106".
4 Fez envelhecer a minha carne e a minha pele, e despedaçou os meus ossos.
5 He hath builded against|strong="H1129" me, and compassed|strong="H5362" me with gall|strong="H7219" and travail|strong="H8513".
5 Construiu rampas de ataque contra mim e me cercou de amargura e dor.
6 He hath set|strong="H3427" me in dark places|strong="H4285", as they that be dead|strong="H4191" of old|strong="H5769".
6 Ele me faz habitar na escuridão, como aqueles que morreram há muito tempo.
7 He hath hedged|strong="H1443" me about, that I cannot get out|strong="H3318": he hath made my chain|strong="H5178" heavy|strong="H3513".
7 Cercou-me de um muro, e já não posso sair; prendeu-me com pesadas correntes.
8 Also when I cry|strong="H2199" and shout|strong="H7768", he shutteth out|strong="H5640" my prayer|strong="H8605".
8 Mesmo quando clamo e grito, ele fecha os ouvidos à minha oração.
9 He hath inclosed|strong="H1443" my ways|strong="H1870" with hewn stone|strong="H1496", he hath made my paths|strong="H5410" crooked|strong="H5753".
9 Fechou os meus caminhos com blocos de pedra, fez tortuosas as minhas veredas.
10 He was unto me as a bear|strong="H1677" lying in wait|strong="H0693", and as a lion|strong="H0738" in secret places|strong="H4565".
10 Foi para mim como um urso à espreita, como um leão pronto para atacar.
11 He hath turned aside|strong="H5493" my ways|strong="H1870", and pulled me in pieces|strong="H6582": he hath made|strong="H7760" me desolate|strong="H8074".
11 Desviou os meus caminhos e me fez em pedaços; depois me abandonou.
12 He hath bent|strong="H1869" his bow|strong="H7198", and set|strong="H5324" me as a mark|strong="H4307" for the arrow|strong="H2671".
12 Entesou o seu arco e me pôs como alvo de suas flechas.
13 He hath caused the arrows|strong="H1121" of his quiver|strong="H0827" to enter|strong="H0935" into my reins|strong="H3629".
13 As flechas da sua aljava atingiram o meu coração.
14 I was a derision|strong="H7814" to all my people|strong="H5971"; and their song|strong="H5058" all the day|strong="H3117".
14 Fui feito motivo de riso para todo o meu povo, e a sua canção de deboche o dia inteiro.
15 He hath filled|strong="H7646" me with bitterness|strong="H4844", he hath made me drunken|strong="H7301" with wormwood|strong="H3939".
15 Fartou-me de amarguras, e me saciou de absinto.
16 He hath also broken|strong="H1638" my teeth|strong="H8127" with gravel stones|strong="H2687", he hath covered|strong="H3728" me with ashes|strong="H0665".
16 Quebrou os meus dentes nas pedras, e cobriu-me de cinza.
17 And thou hast removed|strong="H2186" my soul|strong="H5315" far off|strong="H2186" from peace|strong="H7965": I forgat|strong="H5382" prosperity|strong="H2896".
17 Já não sei o que é ter paz e esqueci o que é desfrutar do bem.
18 And I said|strong="H0559", My strength|strong="H5331" and my hope|strong="H8431" is perished|strong="H0006" from the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:
18 Então eu disse: “Não tenho mais forças. A minha esperança no
19 Remembering|strong="H2142" mine affliction|strong="H6040" and my misery|strong="H4788", the wormwood|strong="H3939" and the gall|strong="H7219".
19 Lembra-te da minha aflição e do meu andar errante, do absinto e da amargura.
20 My soul|strong="H5315" hath them still|strong="H2142" in remembrance|strong="H2142", and is humbled|strong="H7743" in me.
20 Minha alma continuamente se lembra disso e se abate dentro de mim.
21 This I recall|strong="H7725" to my mind|strong="H3820", therefore have I hope|strong="H3176".
21 Quero trazer à memória o que pode me dar esperança.
22 It is of the \+w LORD’s|strong="H3068"\+w* mercies|strong="H2617" that we are not consumed|strong="H8552", because his compassions|strong="H7356" fail|strong="H3615" not.
22 As misericórdias do de não sermos consumidos, porque as suas misericórdias não têm fim;
23 They are new|strong="H2319" every morning|strong="H1242": great|strong="H7227" is thy faithfulness|strong="H0530".
23 renovam-se cada manhã. Grande é a tua fidelidade.
24 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is my portion|strong="H2506", saith|strong="H0559" my soul|strong="H5315"; therefore will I hope|strong="H3176" in him.
24 A minha porção é o Senhor , diz a minha alma; portanto, esperarei nele.
25 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is good|strong="H2896" unto them that wait|strong="H6960" for him, to the soul|strong="H5315" that seeketh|strong="H1875" him.
25 O Senhor é bom para os que esperam nele, para aqueles que o buscam.
26 It is good|strong="H2896" that a man should both hope|strong="H3175" and quietly wait|strong="H1748" for the salvation|strong="H8668" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
26 Bom é aguardar a salvação do e isso, em silêncio.
27 It is good|strong="H2896" for a man|strong="H1397" that he bear|strong="H5375" the yoke|strong="H5923" in his youth|strong="H5271".
27 Bom é para o homem suportar o jugo na sua mocidade.
28 He sitteth|strong="H3427" alone|strong="H0910" and keepeth silence|strong="H1826", because he hath borne|strong="H5190" it upon him.
28 Que ele se assente solitário e fique em silêncio, porque esse jugo Deus pôs sobre ele.
29 He putteth|strong="H5414" his mouth|strong="H6310" in the dust|strong="H6083"; if so be there may be|strong="H3426" hope|strong="H8615".
29 Ponha a sua boca no pó; talvez ainda haja esperança.
30 He giveth|strong="H5414" his cheek|strong="H3895" to him that smiteth|strong="H5221" him: he is filled full|strong="H7646" with reproach|strong="H2781".
30 Dê a face ao que o fere e suporte todas as afrontas.
31 For the Lord|strong="H0136" will not cast off|strong="H2186" for ever|strong="H5769":
31 O Senhor não rejeitará para sempre.
32 But though he cause grief|strong="H3013", yet will he have compassion|strong="H7355" according to the multitude|strong="H7230" of his mercies|strong="H2617".
32 Ainda que entristeça alguém, terá compaixão segundo a grandeza das suas misericórdias.
33 For he doth not afflict|strong="H6031" willingly|strong="H3820" nor grieve|strong="H3013" the children|strong="H1121" of men|strong="H0376".
33 Porque não aflige nem entristece de bom grado os filhos dos homens.
34 To crush|strong="H1792" under his feet|strong="H7272" all the prisoners|strong="H0615" of the earth|strong="H0776",
34 Pisar debaixo dos pés todos os prisioneiros da terra,
35 To turn aside|strong="H5186" the right|strong="H4941" of a man|strong="H1397" before the face|strong="H6440" of the most High|strong="H5945",
35 perverter o direito do homem diante do Altíssimo,
36 To subvert|strong="H5791" a man|strong="H0120" in his cause|strong="H7379", the Lord|strong="H0136" approveth|strong="H7200" not.
36 subverter a justiça num processo — será que o Senhor não veria tais coisas?
37 Who is he that saith|strong="H0559", and it cometh to pass, when the Lord|strong="H0136" commandeth|strong="H6680" it not?
37 Quem é aquele que diz, e assim acontece, sem que o Senhor o tenha ordenado?
38 Out of the mouth|strong="H6310" of the most High|strong="H5945" proceedeth|strong="H3318" not evil|strong="H7451" and good|strong="H2896"?
38 Por acaso, não é da boca do Altíssimo que procedem tanto o mal como o bem?
39 Wherefore doth a living|strong="H2416" man|strong="H0120" complain|strong="H0596", a man|strong="H1397" for the punishment of his sins|strong="H2399"?
39 Por que se queixa o homem? Queixe-se cada um dos seus próprios pecados.
40 Let us search|strong="H2664" and try|strong="H2713" our ways|strong="H1870", and turn again|strong="H7725" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
40 Examinemos bem os nossos caminhos e voltemos para o
41 Let us lift up|strong="H5375" our heart|strong="H3824" with our hands|strong="H3709" unto God|strong="H0410" in the heavens|strong="H8064".
41 Levantemos o coração, juntamente com as mãos, para Deus nos céus, dizendo:
42 We|strong="H5168" have transgressed|strong="H6586" and have rebelled|strong="H4784": thou hast not pardoned|strong="H5545".
42 “Nós pecamos e fomos rebeldes, e tu não nos perdoaste.”
43 Thou hast covered|strong="H5526" with anger|strong="H0639", and persecuted|strong="H7291" us: thou hast slain|strong="H2026", thou hast not pitied|strong="H2550".
43 Cobriste-nos de ira e nos perseguiste; nos mataste sem dó nem piedade.
44 Thou hast covered|strong="H5526" thyself with a cloud|strong="H6051", that our prayer|strong="H8605" should not pass through|strong="H5674".
44 De nuvens te encobriste para que a nossa oração não passe.
45 Thou hast made|strong="H7760" us as the offscouring|strong="H5501" and refuse|strong="H3973" in the midst|strong="H7130" of the people|strong="H5971".
45 Como lixo e refugo nos puseste no meio dos povos.
46 All our enemies|strong="H0341" have opened|strong="H6475" their mouths|strong="H6310" against us.
46 Todos os nossos inimigos abriram a boca contra nós.
47 Fear|strong="H6343" and a snare|strong="H6354" is come upon us, desolation|strong="H7612" and destruction|strong="H7667".
47 Sobre nós vieram o temor e a cova, a desolação e a ruína.
48 Mine eye|strong="H5869" runneth down|strong="H3381" with rivers|strong="H6388" of water|strong="H4325" for the destruction|strong="H7667" of the daughter|strong="H1323" of my people|strong="H5971".
48 Dos meus olhos correm rios de lágrimas, por causa da destruição da filha do meu povo.
49 Mine eye|strong="H5869" trickleth down|strong="H5064", and ceaseth|strong="H1820" not, without any intermission|strong="H2014",
49 Os meus olhos choram, não cessam, e não há descanso,
50 Till the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* look down|strong="H8259", and behold|strong="H7200" from heaven|strong="H8064".
50 até que o Senhor atenda e veja lá do céu.
51 Mine eye|strong="H5869" affecteth|strong="H5953" mine heart|strong="H5315" because of all the daughters|strong="H1323" of my city|strong="H5892".
51 O que vejo entristece a minha alma: o sofrimento de todas as filhas da minha cidade.
52 Mine enemies|strong="H0341" chased|strong="H6679" me sore|strong="H6679", like a bird|strong="H6833", without cause|strong="H2600".
52 Aqueles que sem motivo são meus inimigos caçaram-me como se eu fosse uma ave.
53 They have cut off|strong="H6789" my life|strong="H2416" in the dungeon|strong="H0953", and cast|strong="H3034" a stone|strong="H0068" upon me.
53 Lançaram-me vivo numa cova e atiraram pedras sobre mim.
54 Waters|strong="H4325" flowed over|strong="H6687" mine head|strong="H7218"; then I said|strong="H0559", I am cut off|strong="H1504".
54 Águas correram sobre a minha cabeça; então eu disse: “Estou perdido!”
55 I called|strong="H7121" upon thy name|strong="H8034", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, out of the low|strong="H8482" dungeon|strong="H0953".
55 Da mais profunda cova, Senhor , invoquei o teu nome.
56 Thou hast heard|strong="H8085" my voice|strong="H6963": hide|strong="H5956" not thine ear|strong="H0241" at my breathing|strong="H7309", at my cry|strong="H7775".
56 Ouviste a minha voz, quando pedi: “Não feches os teus ouvidos aos meus lamentos, ao meu clamor.”
57 Thou drewest near|strong="H7126" in the day|strong="H3117" that I called|strong="H7121" upon thee: thou saidst|strong="H0559", Fear|strong="H3372" not.
57 No dia em que te invoquei, chegaste perto de mim e disseste: “Não tenha medo.”
58 O Lord|strong="H0136", thou hast pleaded|strong="H7378" the causes|strong="H7379" of my soul|strong="H5315"; thou hast redeemed|strong="H1350" my life|strong="H2416".
58 Defendeste a minha causa, Senhor; remiste a minha vida.
59 O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, thou hast seen|strong="H7200" my wrong|strong="H5792": judge|strong="H8199" thou my cause|strong="H4941".
59 Viste, Senhor , a injustiça que me fizeram; julga a minha causa.
60 Thou hast seen|strong="H7200" all their vengeance|strong="H5360" and all their imaginations|strong="H4284" against me.
60 Viste toda a sua vingança, todos os seus planos contra mim.
61 Thou hast heard|strong="H8085" their reproach|strong="H2781", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and all their imaginations|strong="H4284" against me;
61 Ouviste as suas afrontas, todos os seus planos contra mim,
62 The lips|strong="H8193" of those that rose up|strong="H6965" against me, and their device|strong="H1902" against me all the day|strong="H3117".
62 as acusações que me fazem e o que murmuram contra mim, o dia todo.
63 Behold|strong="H5027" their sitting down|strong="H3427", and their rising up|strong="H7012"; I am their musick|strong="H4485".
63 Observa-os quando se assentam e quando se levantam; eu sou motivo de zombaria para eles.
64 Render|strong="H7725" unto them a recompence|strong="H1576", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, according to the work|strong="H4639" of their hands|strong="H3027".
64 Tu, Senhor , lhes retribuirás segundo a obra das mãos deles.
65 Give|strong="H5414" them sorrow|strong="H4044" of heart|strong="H3820", thy curse|strong="H8381" unto them.
65 Tu lhes darás dureza de coração, que é a tua maldição sobre eles.
66 Persecute|strong="H7291" and destroy|strong="H8045" them in anger|strong="H0639" from under the heavens|strong="H8064" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
66 Na tua ira, os perseguirás, e eles serão eliminados de debaixo dos céus do
