2 And|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G1492" two|strong="G1417" ships|strong="G4143" standing|strong="G2476" by|strong="G3844" the lake|strong="G3041": but|strong="G1161" the fishermen|strong="G0231" were gone out|strong="G0576" of|strong="G0575" them|strong="G0846", and were washing|strong="G0637" their nets|strong="G1350".
3 And|strong="G1161" he entered|strong="G1684" into|strong="G1519" one|strong="G1520" of the ships|strong="G4143", which|strong="G3739" was|strong="G2258" Simon’s|strong="G4613", and prayed|strong="G2065" him|strong="G0846" that he would thrust out|strong="G1877" a little|strong="G3641" from|strong="G0575" the land|strong="G1093". And|strong="G2532" he sat down|strong="G2523", and taught|strong="G1321" the people|strong="G3793" out of|strong="G1537" the ship|strong="G4143".
4 Now|strong="G1161" when|strong="G5613" he had left|strong="G3973" speaking|strong="G2980", he said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" Simon|strong="G4613", \+w Launch out|strong="G1877"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w the deep|strong="G0899"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w let down|strong="G5465"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w nets|strong="G1350"\+w* \+w for|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w a draught|strong="G0061"\+w*.
5 And|strong="G2532" Simon|strong="G4613" answering|strong="G0611" said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", Master|strong="G1988", we have toiled|strong="G2872" all|strong="G3650" the night|strong="G3571", and have taken|strong="G2983" nothing|strong="G3762": nevertheless|strong="G1161" at|strong="G1909" thy|strong="G4675" word|strong="G4487" I will let down|strong="G5465" the net|strong="G1350".
6 And|strong="G2532" when they had|strong="G4160" this|strong="G5124" done|strong="G4160", they inclosed|strong="G4788" a great|strong="G4183" multitude|strong="G4128" of fishes|strong="G2486": and|strong="G1161" their|strong="G0846" net|strong="G1350" brake|strong="G1284".
7 And|strong="G2532" they beckoned|strong="G2656" unto|strong="G3353" their partners|strong="G3353", which|strong="G3588" were in|strong="G1722" the other|strong="G2087" ship|strong="G4143", that they should come|strong="G2064" and help|strong="G4815" them|strong="G0846". And|strong="G2532" they came|strong="G2064", and|strong="G2532" filled|strong="G4130" both|strong="G0297" the ships|strong="G4143", so that|strong="G5620" they|strong="G0846" began to sink|strong="G1036".
8 When|strong="G1161" Simon|strong="G4613" Peter|strong="G4074" saw|strong="G1492" it, he fell down at|strong="G4363" Jesus’|strong="G2424" knees|strong="G1119", saying|strong="G3004", Depart|strong="G1831" from|strong="G0575" me|strong="G1700"; for|strong="G3754" I am|strong="G1510" a sinful|strong="G0268" man|strong="G0435", O Lord|strong="G2962".
9 For|strong="G1063" he|strong="G0846" was astonished|strong="G2285", and|strong="G2532" all|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3588" were with|strong="G4862" him|strong="G0846", at|strong="G1909" the draught|strong="G0061" of the fishes|strong="G2486" which|strong="G3739" they had taken|strong="G4815":
10 And|strong="G1161" so|strong="G3668" was also|strong="G2532" James|strong="G2385", and|strong="G2532" John|strong="G2491", the sons|strong="G5207" of Zebedee|strong="G2199", which|strong="G3739" were|strong="G2258" partners|strong="G2844" with|strong="G3588" Simon|strong="G4613". And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" Simon|strong="G4613", \+w Fear|strong="G5399"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3361"\+w*; \+w from|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w henceforth|strong="G3568"\+w* \+w thou shalt|strong="G2071"\+w* \+w catch|strong="G2221"\+w* \+w men|strong="G0444"\+w*.
11 And|strong="G2532" when they had brought|strong="G2609" their|strong="G3588" ships|strong="G4143" to|strong="G1909" land|strong="G1093", they forsook|strong="G0863" all|strong="G0537", and followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
12 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096", when|strong="G1722" he|strong="G0846" was|strong="G1511" in|strong="G1722" a certain|strong="G1520" city|strong="G4172", behold|strong="G2400" a man|strong="G0435" full|strong="G4134" of leprosy|strong="G3014": who seeing|strong="G1492" Jesus|strong="G2424" fell|strong="G4098" on|strong="G1909" his face|strong="G4383", and besought|strong="G1189" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004", Lord|strong="G2962", if|strong="G1437" thou wilt|strong="G2309", thou canst|strong="G1410" make|strong="G2511" me|strong="G3165" clean|strong="G2511".
13 And|strong="G2532" he put forth|strong="G1614" his hand|strong="G5495", and touched|strong="G0680" him|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G2036", \+w I will|strong="G2309"\+w*: \+w be thou clean|strong="G2511"\+w*. And|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G2112" the leprosy|strong="G3014" departed|strong="G0565" from|strong="G0575" him|strong="G0846".
14 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" charged|strong="G3853" him|strong="G0846" to tell|strong="G2036" no man|strong="G3367": \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w go|strong="G0565"\+w*, \+w and shew|strong="G1166"\+w* \+w thyself|strong="G4572"\+w* \+w to the priest|strong="G2409"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w offer|strong="G4374"\+w* \+w for|strong="G4012"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w cleansing|strong="G2512"\+w*, \+w according as|strong="G2531"\+w* \+w Moses|strong="G3475"\+w* \+w commanded|strong="G4367"\+w*, \+w for|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w a testimony|strong="G3142"\+w* \+w unto them|strong="G0846"\+w*.
15 But|strong="G1161" so much the more|strong="G3123" went there|strong="G1330" a fame|strong="G3056" abroad|strong="G1330" of|strong="G4012" him|strong="G0846": and|strong="G2532" great|strong="G4183" multitudes|strong="G3793" came together|strong="G4905" to hear|strong="G0191", and|strong="G2532" to be healed|strong="G2323" by|strong="G5259" him|strong="G0846" of|strong="G0575" their|strong="G0846" infirmities|strong="G0769".
16 And|strong="G1161" he withdrew|strong="G5298" himself|strong="G0846" into|strong="G1722" the wilderness|strong="G2048", and|strong="G2532" prayed|strong="G4336".
17 And|strong="G2532" it came to pass|strong="G1096" on|strong="G1722" a certain|strong="G1520" day|strong="G2250", as|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" was|strong="G2258" teaching|strong="G1321", that|strong="G2532" there were|strong="G2258" Pharisees|strong="G5330" and|strong="G2532" doctors of the law|strong="G3547" sitting by|strong="G2521", which|strong="G3739" were|strong="G2258" come|strong="G2064" out|strong="G1537" of every|strong="G3956" town|strong="G2968" of Galilee|strong="G1056", and|strong="G2532" Judæa|strong="G2449", and|strong="G2532" Jerusalem|strong="G2419": and|strong="G2532" the power|strong="G1411" of the Lord|strong="G2962" was|strong="G2258" present to|strong="G1519" heal|strong="G2390" them|strong="G0846".
18 And|strong="G2532", behold|strong="G2400", men|strong="G0435" brought|strong="G5342" in|strong="G1909" a bed|strong="G2825" a man|strong="G0444" which|strong="G3739" was|strong="G2258" taken with a palsy|strong="G3886": and|strong="G2532" they sought|strong="G2212" means to bring|strong="G1533" him|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1533", and|strong="G2532" to lay|strong="G5087" him before|strong="G1799" him|strong="G0846".
19 And|strong="G2532" when they could|strong="G2147" not|strong="G3361" find|strong="G2147" by|strong="G1223" what|strong="G4169" way they might bring|strong="G1533" him|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1533" because of|strong="G1223" the multitude|strong="G3793", they went|strong="G0305" upon|strong="G1909" the housetop|strong="G1430", and let|strong="G2524" him|strong="G0846" down|strong="G2524" through|strong="G1223" the tiling|strong="G2766" with|strong="G4862" his couch|strong="G2826" into|strong="G1519" the midst|strong="G3319" before|strong="G1715" Jesus|strong="G2424".
20 And|strong="G2532" when he saw|strong="G1492" their|strong="G0846" faith|strong="G4102", he said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Man|strong="G0444"\+w*, \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w* \+w are forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4671"\+w*.
21 And|strong="G2532" the scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" began|strong="G0756" to reason|strong="G1260", saying|strong="G3004", Who|strong="G5101" is|strong="G2076" this|strong="G3778" which|strong="G3739" speaketh|strong="G2980" blasphemies|strong="G0988"? Who|strong="G5101" can|strong="G1410" forgive|strong="G0863" sins|strong="G0266", but|strong="G3361" God|strong="G2316" alone|strong="G3441"?
22 But when|strong="G1161" Jesus|strong="G2424" perceived|strong="G1921" their|strong="G0846" thoughts|strong="G1261", he answering|strong="G0611" said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846", \+w What|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w reason ye|strong="G1260"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w your|strong="G5216"\+w* \+w hearts|strong="G2588"\+w*?
23 \+w Whether|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w easier|strong="G2123"\+w*, \+w to say|strong="G2036"\+w*, \+w Thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w* \+w be forgiven|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4671"\+w*; \+w or|strong="G2228"\+w* \+w to say|strong="G2036"\+w*, \+w Rise up|strong="G1453"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w walk|strong="G4043"\+w*?
24 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w that|strong="G2443"\+w* \+w ye may know|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w hath|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w power|strong="G1849"\+w* \+w upon|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w earth|strong="G1093"\+w* \+w to forgive|strong="G0863"\+w* \+w sins|strong="G0266"\+w*, (he said|strong="G2036" unto the sick of the palsy|strong="G3886",) \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto thee|strong="G4671"\+w*, \+w Arise|strong="G1453"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w take up|strong="G0142"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w couch|strong="G2826"\+w*, \+w and go|strong="G4198"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w thine|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w house|strong="G3624"\+w*.
25 And|strong="G2532" immediately|strong="G3916" he rose up|strong="G0450" before|strong="G1799" them|strong="G0846", and took|strong="G0142" up|strong="G1909" that|strong="G3739" whereon he lay|strong="G2621", and departed|strong="G0565" to|strong="G1519" his own|strong="G0846" house|strong="G3624", glorifying|strong="G1392" God|strong="G2316".
26 And|strong="G2532" they were|strong="G2983" all|strong="G0537" amazed|strong="G1611", and|strong="G2532" they glorified|strong="G1392" God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" were filled|strong="G4130" with fear|strong="G5401", saying|strong="G3004", We have seen|strong="G1492" strange things|strong="G3861" to day|strong="G4594".
27 And|strong="G2532" after|strong="G3326" these things|strong="G5023" he went forth|strong="G1831", and|strong="G2532" saw|strong="G2300" a publican|strong="G5057", named|strong="G3686" Levi|strong="G3018", sitting|strong="G2521" at|strong="G1909" the receipt of custom|strong="G5058": and|strong="G2532" he said|strong="G2036" unto him|strong="G0846", \+w Follow|strong="G0190"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w*.
28 And|strong="G2532" he left|strong="G2641" all|strong="G0537", rose up|strong="G0450", and followed|strong="G0190" him|strong="G0846".
29 And|strong="G2532" Levi|strong="G3018" made|strong="G4160" him|strong="G0846" a great|strong="G3173" feast|strong="G1403" in|strong="G1722" his own|strong="G0846" house|strong="G3614": and|strong="G2532" there was|strong="G2258" a great|strong="G4183" company|strong="G3793" of publicans|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" of others|strong="G0243" that|strong="G3739" sat down|strong="G2621" with|strong="G3326" them|strong="G0846".
30 But|strong="G2532" their|strong="G0846" scribes|strong="G1122" and|strong="G2532" Pharisees|strong="G5330" murmured|strong="G1111" against|strong="G4314" his|strong="G0846" disciples|strong="G3101", saying|strong="G3004", Why|strong="G5101" do ye eat|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" drink|strong="G4095" with|strong="G3326" publicans|strong="G5057" and|strong="G2532" sinners|strong="G0268"?
31 And|strong="G2532" Jesus|strong="G2424" answering|strong="G0611" said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846", \+w They|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w that are whole|strong="G5198"\+w* \+w need|strong="G5532"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w a physician|strong="G2395"\+w*; \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w they|strong="G3588"\+w* \+w that are|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w sick|strong="G2560"\+w*.
32 \+w I came|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w to call|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w the righteous|strong="G1342"\+w*, \+w but|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w sinners|strong="G0268"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w repentance|strong="G3341"\+w*.
33 And they said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" him|strong="G0846", Why do|strong="G5101" the disciples|strong="G3101" of John|strong="G2491" fast|strong="G3522" often|strong="G4437", and|strong="G2532" make|strong="G4160" prayers|strong="G1162", and|strong="G2532" likewise|strong="G3668" the disciples of the Pharisees|strong="G5330"; but|strong="G1161" thine|strong="G4674" eat|strong="G2068" and|strong="G2532" drink|strong="G4095"?
34 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846", \+w Can ye|strong="G1410"\+w* \+w make|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w the children|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w of the bridechamber|strong="G3567"\+w* \+w fast|strong="G3522"\+w*, \+w while|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the bridegroom|strong="G3566"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w with|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*?
35 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the days|strong="G2250"\+w* \+w will come|strong="G2064"\+w*, \+w when|strong="G3752"\+w* \+w the bridegroom|strong="G3566"\+w* \+w shall be taken away|strong="G0522"\+w* \+w from|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w them|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and then|strong="G5119"\+w* \+w shall they fast|strong="G3522"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w those|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w days|strong="G2250"\+w*.
36 And|strong="G1161" he spake|strong="G3004" also|strong="G2532" a parable|strong="G3850" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846"; \+w No man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w putteth|strong="G1911"\+w* \+w a piece|strong="G1915"\+w* \+w of a new|strong="G2537"\+w* \+w garment|strong="G2440"\+w* \+w upon|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w an old|strong="G3820"\+w*; \+w if|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w otherwise|strong="G3361"\+w*, \+w then|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w both|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the new|strong="G2537"\+w* \+w maketh a rent|strong="G4977"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the piece|strong="G1915"\+w* \+w that was|strong="G0575"\+w* \+add taken\+add* \+w out of|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w the new|strong="G2537"\+w* \+w agreeth|strong="G4856"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w with the old|strong="G3820"\+w*.
37 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w no man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w putteth|strong="G0906"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w old|strong="G3820"\+w* \+w bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*; \+w else|strong="G1487"\+w* \+w the new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w will burst|strong="G4486"\+w* \+w the bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w be spilled|strong="G1632"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the bottles|strong="G0779"\+w* \+w shall perish|strong="G0622"\+w*.
38 \+w But|strong="G0235"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w wine|strong="G3631"\+w* \+w must be put|strong="G0992"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w new|strong="G2537"\+w* \+w bottles|strong="G0779"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w both|strong="G0297"\+w* \+w are preserved|strong="G4933"\+w*.
39 \+w No man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w having drunk|strong="G4095"\+w* \+w old|strong="G3820"\+w* \+add wine\+add* \+w straightway|strong="G2112"\+w* \+w desireth|strong="G2309"\+w* \+w new|strong="G3501"\+w*: \+w for|strong="G1063"\+w* \+w he saith|strong="G3004"\+w*, \+w The old|strong="G3820"\+w* \+w is|strong="G2076"\+w* \+w better|strong="G5543"\+w*.
