2 And|strong="G2532" the Pharisees|strong="G5330" and|strong="G2532" scribes|strong="G1122" murmured|strong="G1234", saying|strong="G3004", This man|strong="G3778" receiveth|strong="G4327" sinners|strong="G0268", and|strong="G2532" eateth|strong="G4906" with them|strong="G0846".
3 And|strong="G1161" he spake|strong="G2036" this|strong="G3778" parable|strong="G3850" unto|strong="G4314" them|strong="G0846", saying|strong="G3004",

5 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w when he hath found|strong="G2147"\+w* \+add it\+add*, \+w he layeth|strong="G2007"\+w* \+add it\+add* \+w on|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w his|strong="G1438"\+w* \+w shoulders|strong="G5606"\+w*, \+w rejoicing|strong="G5463"\+w*.

9 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w when she hath found|strong="G2147"\+w* \+add it\+add*, \+w she calleth|strong="G4779"\+w* \+add her\+add* \+w friends|strong="G5384"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+add her\+add* \+w neighbours|strong="G1069"\+w* \+w together|strong="G4779"\+w*, \+w saying|strong="G3004"\+w*, \+w Rejoice with|strong="G4796"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w*; \+w for|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w I have found|strong="G2147"\+w* \+w the piece|strong="G1406"\+w* \+w which|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w I had lost|strong="G0622"\+w*.
10 \+w Likewise|strong="G3779"\+w*, \+w I say|strong="G3004"\+w* \+w unto you|strong="G5213"\+w*, \+w there is|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w joy|strong="G5479"\+w* \+w in the presence of|strong="G1799"\+w* \+w the angels|strong="G0032"\+w* \+w of God|strong="G2316"\+w* \+w over|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w one|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w sinner|strong="G0268"\+w* \+w that repenteth|strong="G3340"\+w*.
11 And|strong="G1161" he said|strong="G2036", \+w A certain|strong="G5100"\+w* \+w man|strong="G0444"\+w* \+w had|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w two|strong="G1417"\+w* \+w sons|strong="G5207"\+w*:
12 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w the younger|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w of them|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w said|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w to|strong="G3962"\+w* \+add his\+add* \+w father|strong="G3962"\+w*, \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w*, \+w give|strong="G1325"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3427"\+w* \+w the portion|strong="G3313"\+w* \+w of goods|strong="G3776"\+w* \+w that falleth|strong="G1911"\+w* \+add to me\+add*. \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he divided|strong="G1244"\+w* \+w unto them|strong="G0846"\+w* \+add his\+add* \+w living|strong="G0979"\+w*.
13 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w not|strong="G3756"\+w* \+w many|strong="G4183"\+w* \+w days|strong="G2250"\+w* \+w after|strong="G3326"\+w* \+w the younger|strong="G3501"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w gathered|strong="G4863"\+w* \+w all|strong="G0537"\+w* \+w together|strong="G4863"\+w*, \+w and took his journey|strong="G0589"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w a far|strong="G3117"\+w* \+w country|strong="G5561"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w there|strong="G1563"\+w* \+w wasted|strong="G1287"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w substance|strong="G3776"\+w* \+w with riotous|strong="G0811"\+w* \+w living|strong="G2198"\+w*.
14 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w when he|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w had spent|strong="G1159"\+w* \+w all|strong="G3956"\+w*, \+w there arose|strong="G1096"\+w* \+w a mighty|strong="G2478"\+w* \+w famine|strong="G3042"\+w* \+w in|strong="G2596"\+w* \+w that|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w land|strong="G5561"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w began|strong="G0756"\+w* \+w to be in want|strong="G5302"\+w*.
15 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he went|strong="G4198"\+w* \+w and joined himself|strong="G2853"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w a citizen|strong="G4177"\+w* \+w of that|strong="G1565"\+w* \+w country|strong="G5561"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he sent|strong="G3992"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w into|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w fields|strong="G0068"\+w* \+w to feed|strong="G1006"\+w* \+w swine|strong="G5519"\+w*.
16 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he would fain|strong="G1937"\+w* \+w have filled|strong="G1072"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w belly|strong="G2836"\+w* \+w with|strong="G0575"\+w* \+w the husks|strong="G2769"\+w* \+w that|strong="G3739"\+w* \+w the swine|strong="G5519"\+w* \+w did eat|strong="G2068"\+w*: \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w no man|strong="G3762"\+w* \+w gave|strong="G1325"\+w* \+w unto him|strong="G0846"\+w*.
17 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w when he came|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w to|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w himself|strong="G1438"\+w*, \+w he said|strong="G2036"\+w*, \+w How many|strong="G4214"\+w* \+w hired servants|strong="G3407"\+w* \+w of my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w father’s|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w have bread|strong="G0740"\+w* \+w enough and to spare|strong="G4052"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w I|strong="G1473"\+w* \+w perish|strong="G0622"\+w* \+w with hunger|strong="G3042"\+w*!
18 \+w I will arise|strong="G0450"\+w* \+w and go|strong="G4198"\+w* \+w to|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w father|strong="G3962"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w will say|strong="G2046"\+w* \+w unto him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w*, \+w I have sinned|strong="G0264"\+w* \+w against|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w heaven|strong="G3772"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w before|strong="G1799"\+w* \+w thee|strong="G4675"\+w*,
19 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w am|strong="G1510"\+w* \+w no more|strong="G3765"\+w* \+w worthy|strong="G0514"\+w* \+w to be called|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w*: \+w make|strong="G4160"\+w* \+w me|strong="G3165"\+w* \+w as|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w one|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w of thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w hired servants|strong="G3407"\+w*.
20 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he arose|strong="G0450"\+w*, \+w and came|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w to|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w his|strong="G1438"\+w* \+w father|strong="G3962"\+w*. \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w when he|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w was|strong="G0568"\+w* \+w yet|strong="G2089"\+w* \+w a great way off|strong="G3112"\+w*, \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w saw|strong="G1492"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w had compassion|strong="G4697"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w ran|strong="G5143"\+w*, \+w and fell|strong="G1968"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1909"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w neck|strong="G5137"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w kissed|strong="G2705"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*.
21 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w said|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w unto him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w Father|strong="G3962"\+w*, \+w I have sinned|strong="G0264"\+w* \+w against|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w heaven|strong="G3772"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1799"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w sight|strong="G1799"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w am|strong="G1510"\+w* \+w no more|strong="G3765"\+w* \+w worthy|strong="G0514"\+w* \+w to be called|strong="G2564"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w*.
22 \+w But|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w the father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w said|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w to|strong="G4314"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w servants|strong="G1401"\+w*, \+w Bring forth|strong="G1627"\+w* \+w the best|strong="G4413"\+w* \+w robe|strong="G4749"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w put|strong="G1746"\+w* \+add it\+add* \+w on|strong="G1746"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w put|strong="G1325"\+w* \+w a ring|strong="G1146"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1519"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w hand|strong="G5495"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w shoes|strong="G5266"\+w* \+w on|strong="G1519"\+w* \+add his\+add* \+w feet|strong="G4228"\+w*:
23 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w bring hither|strong="G5342"\+w* \+w the fatted|strong="G4618"\+w* \+w calf|strong="G3448"\+w*, \+w and kill|strong="G2380"\+w* \+add it\+add*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w let us eat|strong="G5315"\+w*, \+w and be merry|strong="G2165"\+w*:
24 \+w For|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w this|strong="G3778"\+w* \+w my|strong="G3450"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w was|strong="G2258"\+w* \+w dead|strong="G3498"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w is alive again|strong="G0326"\+w*; \+w he was|strong="G2258"\+w* \+w lost|strong="G0622"\+w*, \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w is found|strong="G2147"\+w*. \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w they began|strong="G0756"\+w* \+w to be merry|strong="G2165"\+w*.
25 \+w Now|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w his|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w elder|strong="G4245"\+w* \+w son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w was|strong="G2258"\+w* \+w in|strong="G1722"\+w* \+w the field|strong="G0068"\+w*: \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w as|strong="G5613"\+w* \+w he came|strong="G2064"\+w* \+w and drew nigh|strong="G1448"\+w* \+w to the house|strong="G3614"\+w*, \+w he heard|strong="G0191"\+w* \+w musick|strong="G4858"\+w* \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w dancing|strong="G5525"\+w*.
26 \+w And|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w he called|strong="G4341"\+w* \+w one|strong="G1520"\+w* \+w of the servants|strong="G3816"\+w*, \+w and asked|strong="G4441"\+w* \+w what|strong="G5101"\+w* \+w these things|strong="G5023"\+w* \+w meant|strong="G1498"\+w*.
27 \+w And|strong="G1161"\+w* \+w he said|strong="G2036"\+w* \+w unto him|strong="G0846"\+w*, \+w Thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w brother|strong="G0080"\+w* \+w is come|strong="G2240"\+w*; \+w and|strong="G2532"\+w* \+w thy|strong="G4675"\+w* \+w father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w hath killed|strong="G2380"\+w* \+w the fatted|strong="G4618"\+w* \+w calf|strong="G3448"\+w*, \+w because|strong="G3754"\+w* \+w he hath received|strong="G0618"\+w* \+w him|strong="G0846"\+w* \+w safe and sound|strong="G5198"\+w*.
