Righteous|strong="H6662" art thou, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I plead|strong="H7378" with thee: yet let me talk|strong="H1696" with thee of thy judgments|strong="H4941": Wherefore doth the way|strong="H1870" of the wicked|strong="H7563" prosper|strong="H6743"? wherefore are all they happy|strong="H7951" that deal very|strong="H0899" treacherously|strong="H0898"?
Thou hast planted|strong="H5193" them, yea, they have taken root|strong="H8327": they grow|strong="H3212", yea, they bring forth|strong="H6213" fruit|strong="H6529": thou art near|strong="H7138" in their mouth|strong="H6310", and far from|strong="H7350" their reins|strong="H3629".
But thou, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, knowest|strong="H3045" me: thou hast seen|strong="H7200" me, and tried|strong="H0974" mine heart|strong="H3820" toward thee: pull them out|strong="H5423" like sheep|strong="H6629" for the slaughter|strong="H2878", and prepare|strong="H6942" them for the day|strong="H3117" of slaughter|strong="H2028".
How long shall the land|strong="H0776" mourn|strong="H0056", and the herbs|strong="H6212" of every field|strong="H7704" wither|strong="H3001", for the wickedness|strong="H7451" of them that dwell|strong="H3427" therein? the beasts|strong="H0929" are consumed|strong="H5595", and the birds|strong="H5775"; because they said|strong="H0559", He shall not see|strong="H7200" our last end|strong="H0319".
If thou hast run|strong="H7323" with the footmen|strong="H7273", and they have wearied|strong="H3811" thee, then how canst thou contend|strong="H8474" with horses|strong="H5483"? and if in the land|strong="H0776" of peace|strong="H7965", wherein thou trustedst|strong="H0982", they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do|strong="H6213" in the swelling|strong="H1347" of Jordan|strong="H3383"?
For even thy brethren|strong="H0251", and the house|strong="H1004" of thy father|strong="H0001", even they have dealt treacherously|strong="H0898" with thee; yea, they have called|strong="H7121" a multitude|strong="H4392" after|strong="H0310" thee: believe|strong="H0539" them not, though they speak|strong="H1696" fair words|strong="H2896" unto thee.
I have forsaken|strong="H5800" mine house|strong="H1004", I have left|strong="H5203" mine heritage|strong="H5159"; I have given|strong="H5414" the dearly beloved|strong="H3033" of my soul|strong="H5315" into the hand|strong="H3709" of her enemies|strong="H0341".
Mine heritage|strong="H5159" is unto me as a lion|strong="H0738" in the forest|strong="H3293"; it crieth out|strong="H5414" against me: therefore have I hated|strong="H8130" it.
Mine heritage|strong="H5159" is unto me as a speckled|strong="H6641" bird|strong="H5861", the birds|strong="H5861" round about|strong="H5439" are against her; come|strong="H3212" ye, assemble|strong="H0622" all the beasts|strong="H2416" of the field|strong="H7704", come|strong="H0857" to devour|strong="H0402".
Many|strong="H7227" pastors|strong="H7462" have destroyed|strong="H7843" my vineyard|strong="H3754", they have trodden|strong="H0947" my portion|strong="H2513" under foot|strong="H0947", they have made|strong="H5414" my pleasant|strong="H2532" portion|strong="H2513" a desolate|strong="H8077" wilderness|strong="H4057".
They have made|strong="H7760" it desolate|strong="H8076", and being desolate|strong="H8077" it mourneth|strong="H0056" unto me; the whole land|strong="H0776" is made desolate|strong="H8074", because no man|strong="H0376" layeth|strong="H7760" it to heart|strong="H3820".
The spoilers|strong="H7703" are come|strong="H0935" upon all high places|strong="H8205" through the wilderness|strong="H4057": for the sword|strong="H2719" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall devour|strong="H0398" from the one end|strong="H7097" of the land|strong="H0776" even to the other end|strong="H7097" of the land|strong="H0776": no flesh|strong="H1320" shall have peace|strong="H7965".
They have sown|strong="H2232" wheat|strong="H2406", but shall reap|strong="H7114" thorns|strong="H6975": they have put themselves to pain|strong="H2470", but shall not profit|strong="H3276": and they shall be ashamed|strong="H0954" of your revenues|strong="H8393" because of the fierce|strong="H2740" anger|strong="H0639" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* against all mine evil|strong="H7451" neighbours|strong="H7934", that touch|strong="H5060" the inheritance|strong="H5159" which I have caused my people|strong="H5971" Israel|strong="H3478" to inherit|strong="H5157"; Behold, I will pluck them out|strong="H5428" of their land|strong="H0127", and pluck out|strong="H5428" the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063" from among|strong="H8432" them.
And it shall come to pass, after|strong="H0310" that I have plucked them out|strong="H5428" I will return|strong="H7725", and have compassion|strong="H7355" on them, and will bring them again|strong="H7725", every man|strong="H0376" to his heritage|strong="H5159", and every man|strong="H0376" to his land|strong="H0776".
And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently|strong="H3925" learn|strong="H3925" the ways|strong="H1870" of my people|strong="H5971", to swear|strong="H7650" by my name|strong="H8034", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* liveth|strong="H2416"; as they taught|strong="H3925" my people|strong="H5971" to swear|strong="H7650" by Baal|strong="H1168"; then shall they be built|strong="H1129" in the midst|strong="H8432" of my people|strong="H5971".
But if they will not obey|strong="H8085", I will utterly|strong="H5428" pluck up|strong="H5428" and destroy|strong="H0006" that nation|strong="H1471", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
