The burden|strong="H4853" of Egypt|strong="H4714". Behold, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* rideth|strong="H7392" upon a swift|strong="H7031" cloud|strong="H5645", and shall come|strong="H0935" into Egypt|strong="H4714": and the idols|strong="H0457" of Egypt|strong="H4714" shall be moved|strong="H5128" at his presence|strong="H6440", and the heart|strong="H3824" of Egypt|strong="H4714" shall melt|strong="H4549" in the midst|strong="H7130" of it.
And I will set|strong="H5526" the Egyptians|strong="H4714" against the Egyptians|strong="H4714": and they shall fight|strong="H3898" every one|strong="H0376" against his brother|strong="H0251", and every one|strong="H0376" against his neighbour|strong="H7453"; city|strong="H5892" against city|strong="H5892", and kingdom|strong="H4467" against kingdom|strong="H4467".
And the spirit|strong="H7307" of Egypt|strong="H4714" shall fail|strong="H1238" in the midst|strong="H7130" thereof; and I will destroy|strong="H1104" the counsel|strong="H6098" thereof: and they shall seek|strong="H1875" to the idols|strong="H0457", and to the charmers|strong="H0328", and to them that have familiar spirits|strong="H0178", and to the wizards|strong="H3049".
And|strong="H0853" the Egyptians|strong="H4714" will I give over|strong="H5534" into the hand|strong="H3027" of a cruel|strong="H7186" lord|strong="H0113"; and a fierce|strong="H5794" king|strong="H4428" shall rule|strong="H4910" over them, saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0113", the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
And the waters|strong="H4325" shall fail|strong="H5405" from the sea|strong="H3220", and the river|strong="H5104" shall be wasted|strong="H2717" and dried up|strong="H3001".
And they shall turn|strong="H2186" the rivers|strong="H5104" far away|strong="H2186"; and the brooks|strong="H2975" of defence|strong="H4693" shall be emptied|strong="H1809" and dried up|strong="H2717": the reeds|strong="H7070" and flags|strong="H5488" shall wither|strong="H7060".
The paper reeds|strong="H6169" by the brooks|strong="H2975", by the mouth|strong="H6310" of the brooks|strong="H2975", and every thing sown|strong="H4218" by the brooks|strong="H2975", shall wither|strong="H3001", be driven away|strong="H5086", and be no more.
The fishers|strong="H1771" also shall mourn|strong="H0578", and all they that cast|strong="H7993" angle|strong="H2443" into the brooks|strong="H2975" shall lament|strong="H0056", and they that spread|strong="H6566" nets|strong="H4365" upon|strong="H6440" the waters|strong="H4325" shall languish|strong="H0535".
Moreover they that work|strong="H5647" in fine|strong="H8305" flax|strong="H6593", and they that weave|strong="H0707" networks|strong="H2355", shall be confounded|strong="H0954".
And they shall be broken|strong="H1792" in the purposes|strong="H8356" thereof, all that make|strong="H6213" sluices|strong="H7938" and ponds|strong="H0099" for fish|strong="H5315".
Surely the princes|strong="H8269" of Zoan|strong="H6814" are fools|strong="H0191", the counsel|strong="H6098" of the wise|strong="H2450" counsellors|strong="H3289" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" is become brutish|strong="H1197": how say|strong="H0559" ye unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547", I am the son|strong="H1121" of the wise|strong="H2450", the son|strong="H1121" of ancient|strong="H6924" kings|strong="H4428"?
Where|strong="H0335" are they? where|strong="H0645" are thy wise|strong="H2450" men? and let them tell|strong="H5046" thee now, and let them know|strong="H3045" what the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" hath purposed|strong="H3289" upon Egypt|strong="H4714".
The princes|strong="H8269" of Zoan|strong="H6814" are become fools|strong="H2973", the princes|strong="H8269" of Noph|strong="H5297" are deceived|strong="H5377"; they have also seduced|strong="H8582" Egypt|strong="H4714", even they that are the stay|strong="H6438" of the tribes|strong="H7626" thereof.
The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath mingled|strong="H4537" a perverse|strong="H5773" spirit|strong="H7307" in the midst|strong="H7130" thereof: and they have caused Egypt|strong="H4714" to err|strong="H8582" in every work|strong="H4639" thereof, as a drunken|strong="H7910" man staggereth|strong="H8582" in his vomit|strong="H6892".
Neither shall there be any work|strong="H4639" for Egypt|strong="H4714", which the head|strong="H7218" or tail|strong="H2180", branch|strong="H3712" or rush|strong="H0100", may do|strong="H6213".
In that day|strong="H3117" shall Egypt|strong="H4714" be like unto women|strong="H0802": and it shall be afraid|strong="H2729" and fear|strong="H6342" because|strong="H6440" of the shaking|strong="H8573" of the hand|strong="H3027" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", which he shaketh|strong="H5130" over it.
And the land|strong="H0127" of Judah|strong="H3063" shall be a terror|strong="H2283" unto Egypt|strong="H4714", every one that maketh mention|strong="H2142" thereof shall be afraid|strong="H6342" in himself, because|strong="H6440" of the counsel|strong="H6098" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", which he hath determined|strong="H3289" against it.
In that day|strong="H3117" shall five|strong="H2568" cities|strong="H5892" in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" speak|strong="H1696" the language|strong="H8193" of Canaan|strong="H3667", and swear|strong="H7650" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; one|strong="H0259" shall be called|strong="H0559", The city|strong="H5892" of destruction|strong="H2041".
In that day|strong="H3117" shall there be an altar|strong="H4196" to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* in the midst|strong="H8432" of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and a pillar|strong="H4676" at|strong="H0681" the border|strong="H1366" thereof to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And it shall be for a sign|strong="H0226" and for a witness|strong="H5707" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714": for they shall cry|strong="H6817" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* because|strong="H6440" of the oppressors|strong="H3905", and he shall send|strong="H7971" them a saviour|strong="H3467", and a great one|strong="H7227", and he shall deliver|strong="H5337" them.
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall be known|strong="H3045" to Egypt|strong="H4714", and the Egyptians|strong="H4714" shall know|strong="H3045" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* in that day|strong="H3117", and shall do|strong="H5647" sacrifice|strong="H2077" and oblation|strong="H4503"; yea, they shall vow|strong="H5087" a vow|strong="H5088" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and perform|strong="H7999" it.
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall smite|strong="H5062" Egypt|strong="H4714": he shall smite|strong="H5062" and heal|strong="H7495" it: and they shall return|strong="H7725" even to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and he shall be intreated|strong="H6279" of them, and shall heal|strong="H7495" them.
In that day|strong="H3117" shall there be a highway|strong="H4546" out of Egypt|strong="H4714" to Assyria|strong="H0804", and the Assyrian|strong="H0804" shall come|strong="H0935" into Egypt|strong="H4714", and the Egyptian|strong="H4714" into Assyria|strong="H0804", and the Egyptians|strong="H4714" shall serve|strong="H5647" with the Assyrians|strong="H0804".
In that day|strong="H3117" shall Israel|strong="H3478" be the third|strong="H7992" with Egypt|strong="H4714" and with Assyria|strong="H0804", even a blessing|strong="H1293" in the midst|strong="H7130" of the land|strong="H0776":
Whom the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" shall bless|strong="H1288", saying|strong="H0559", Blessed|strong="H1288" be Egypt|strong="H4714" my people|strong="H5971", and Assyria|strong="H0804" the work|strong="H4639" of my hands|strong="H3027", and Israel|strong="H3478" mine inheritance|strong="H5159".
