And it came to pass at the end|strong="H7093" of two full|strong="H3117" years|strong="H8141", that Pharaoh|strong="H6547" dreamed|strong="H2492": and, behold, he stood|strong="H5975" by the river|strong="H2975".
And, behold, there came up|strong="H5927" out of the river|strong="H2975" seven|strong="H7651" well|strong="H3303" favoured|strong="H4758" kine|strong="H6510" and fatfleshed|strong="H1277"; and they fed|strong="H7462" in a meadow|strong="H0260".
And, behold, seven|strong="H7651" other|strong="H0312" kine|strong="H6510" came up|strong="H5927" after them|strong="H0310" out of the river|strong="H2975", ill|strong="H7451" favoured|strong="H4758" and leanfleshed|strong="H1851"; and stood|strong="H5975" by|strong="H0681" the other kine|strong="H6510" upon the brink|strong="H8193" of the river|strong="H2975".
And the ill|strong="H7451" favoured|strong="H4758" and leanfleshed|strong="H1851" kine|strong="H6510" did eat up|strong="H0398" the seven|strong="H7651" well|strong="H3303" favoured|strong="H4758" and fat|strong="H1277" kine|strong="H6510". So Pharaoh|strong="H6547" awoke|strong="H3364".
And he slept|strong="H3462" and dreamed|strong="H2492" the second time|strong="H8145": and, behold, seven|strong="H7651" ears of corn|strong="H7641" came up|strong="H5927" upon one|strong="H0259" stalk|strong="H7070", rank|strong="H1277" and good|strong="H2896".
And, behold, seven|strong="H7651" thin|strong="H1851" ears|strong="H7641" and blasted|strong="H7710" with the east wind|strong="H6921" sprung up|strong="H6779" after them|strong="H0310".
And the seven thin|strong="H1851" ears|strong="H7641" devoured|strong="H1104" the seven|strong="H7651" rank|strong="H1277" and full|strong="H4392" ears|strong="H7641". And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" awoke|strong="H3364", and, behold, it was a dream|strong="H2472".
And it came to pass in the morning|strong="H1242" that his spirit|strong="H7307" was troubled|strong="H6470"; and he sent|strong="H7971" and called|strong="H7121" for all the magicians|strong="H2748" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and all the wise men|strong="H2450" thereof: and Pharaoh|strong="H6547" told|strong="H5608" them his dream|strong="H2472"; but there was none that could interpret|strong="H6622" them unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547".
Then spake|strong="H1696" the chief|strong="H8269" butler|strong="H8248" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547", saying|strong="H0559", I do remember|strong="H2142" my faults|strong="H2399" this day|strong="H3117":
Pharaoh|strong="H6547" was wroth|strong="H7107" with his servants|strong="H5650", and put|strong="H5414" me in ward|strong="H4929" in the captain|strong="H8269" of the guard’s|strong="H2876" house|strong="H1004", both me and the chief|strong="H8269" baker|strong="H0644":
And we dreamed|strong="H2492" a dream|strong="H2472" in one|strong="H0259" night|strong="H3915", I and he; we dreamed|strong="H2492" each man|strong="H0376" according to the interpretation|strong="H6623" of his dream|strong="H2472".
And there was there with us a young man|strong="H5288", an Hebrew|strong="H5680", servant|strong="H5650" to the captain|strong="H8269" of the guard|strong="H2876"; and we told|strong="H5608" him, and he interpreted|strong="H6622" to us our dreams|strong="H2472"; to each man|strong="H0376" according to his dream|strong="H2472" he did interpret|strong="H6622".
And it came to pass, as he interpreted|strong="H6622" to us, so it was; me he restored|strong="H7725" unto mine office|strong="H3653", and him he hanged|strong="H8518".
Then Pharaoh|strong="H6547" sent|strong="H7971" and called|strong="H7121" Joseph|strong="H3130", and they brought him hastily|strong="H7323" out of the dungeon|strong="H0953": and he shaved|strong="H1548" himself, and changed|strong="H2498" his raiment|strong="H8071", and came in|strong="H0935" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H0559" unto Joseph|strong="H3130", I have dreamed|strong="H2492" a dream|strong="H2472", and there is none that can interpret|strong="H6622" it: and I have heard|strong="H8085" say|strong="H0559" of thee, that thou canst understand|strong="H8085" a dream|strong="H2472" to interpret|strong="H6622" it.
And Joseph|strong="H3130" answered|strong="H6030" Pharaoh|strong="H6547", saying|strong="H0559", It is not in me|strong="H1107": God|strong="H0430" shall give|strong="H6030" Pharaoh|strong="H6547" an answer|strong="H6030" of peace|strong="H7965".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H1696" unto Joseph|strong="H3130", In my dream|strong="H2472", behold, I stood|strong="H5975" upon the bank|strong="H8193" of the river|strong="H2975":
And, behold, there came up|strong="H5927" out of the river|strong="H2975" seven|strong="H7651" kine|strong="H6510", fatfleshed|strong="H1277" and well|strong="H3303" favoured|strong="H8389"; and they fed|strong="H7462" in a meadow|strong="H0260":
And, behold, seven|strong="H7651" other|strong="H0312" kine|strong="H6510" came up|strong="H5927" after them|strong="H0310", poor|strong="H1803" and very|strong="H3966" ill|strong="H7451" favoured|strong="H8389" and leanfleshed|strong="H7534", such|strong="H2007" as I never|strong="H3808" saw|strong="H7200" in all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" for badness|strong="H7455":
And the lean|strong="H7534" and the ill favoured|strong="H7451" kine|strong="H6510" did eat up|strong="H0398" the first|strong="H7223" seven|strong="H7651" fat|strong="H1277" kine|strong="H6510":
And when they had eaten them up|strong="H0935", it could not be known|strong="H3045" that they had eaten them|strong="H0935"; but they were still|strong="H4758" ill favoured|strong="H7451", as at the beginning|strong="H8462". So I awoke|strong="H3364".
And I saw|strong="H7200" in my dream|strong="H2472", and, behold, seven|strong="H7651" ears|strong="H7641" came up|strong="H5927" in one|strong="H0259" stalk|strong="H7070", full|strong="H4392" and good|strong="H2896":
And, behold, seven|strong="H7651" ears|strong="H7641", withered|strong="H6798", thin|strong="H1851", and blasted|strong="H7710" with the east wind|strong="H6921", sprung up|strong="H6779" after them|strong="H0310":
And the thin|strong="H1851" ears|strong="H7641" devoured|strong="H1104" the seven|strong="H7651" good|strong="H2896" ears|strong="H7641": and I told|strong="H0559" this unto the magicians|strong="H2748"; but there was none that could declare|strong="H5046" it to me.
And Joseph|strong="H3130" said|strong="H0559" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547", The dream|strong="H2472" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" is one|strong="H0259": God|strong="H0430" hath shewed|strong="H5046" Pharaoh|strong="H6547" what he is about to do|strong="H6213".
The seven|strong="H7651" good|strong="H2896" kine|strong="H6510" are seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141"; and the seven|strong="H7651" good|strong="H2896" ears|strong="H7641" are seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141": the dream|strong="H2472" is one|strong="H0259".
And the seven|strong="H7651" thin|strong="H7534" and ill favoured|strong="H7451" kine|strong="H6510" that came up|strong="H5927" after them|strong="H0310" are seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141"; and the seven|strong="H7651" empty|strong="H7386" ears|strong="H7641" blasted|strong="H7710" with the east wind|strong="H6921" shall be seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141" of famine|strong="H7458".
This is the thing|strong="H1697" which I have spoken|strong="H1696" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547": What God|strong="H0430" is about to do|strong="H6213" he sheweth|strong="H7200" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547".
Behold, there come|strong="H0935" seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141" of great|strong="H1419" plenty|strong="H7647" throughout all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714":
And there shall arise|strong="H6965" after them|strong="H0310" seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141" of famine|strong="H7458"; and all the plenty|strong="H7647" shall be forgotten|strong="H7911" in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714"; and the famine|strong="H7458" shall consume|strong="H3615" the land|strong="H0776";
And the plenty|strong="H7647" shall not be known|strong="H3045" in the land|strong="H0776" by reason|strong="H6440" of that famine|strong="H7458" following|strong="H0310"; for it shall be very|strong="H3966" grievous|strong="H3515".
And for that the dream|strong="H2472" was doubled|strong="H8138" unto Pharaoh|strong="H6547" twice|strong="H6471"; it is because the thing|strong="H1697" is established|strong="H3559" by|strong="H5973" God|strong="H0430", and God|strong="H0430" will shortly|strong="H4116" bring it to pass|strong="H6213".
Now therefore let Pharaoh|strong="H6547" look out|strong="H7200" a man|strong="H0376" discreet|strong="H0995" and wise|strong="H2450", and set|strong="H7896" him over the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
Let Pharaoh|strong="H6547" do|strong="H6213" this, and let him appoint|strong="H6485" officers|strong="H6496" over the land|strong="H0776", and take up the fifth part|strong="H2567" of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" in the seven|strong="H7651" plenteous|strong="H7647" years|strong="H8141".
And let them gather|strong="H6908" all the food|strong="H0400" of those good|strong="H2896" years|strong="H8141" that come|strong="H0935", and lay up|strong="H6651" corn|strong="H1250" under the hand|strong="H3027" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and let them keep|strong="H8104" food|strong="H0400" in the cities|strong="H5892".
And that food|strong="H0400" shall be for store|strong="H6487" to the land|strong="H0776" against the seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141" of famine|strong="H7458", which shall be in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714"; that the land|strong="H0776" perish|strong="H3772" not through the famine|strong="H7458".
And the thing|strong="H1697" was good|strong="H3190" in the eyes|strong="H5869" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and in the eyes|strong="H5869" of all his servants|strong="H5650".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H0559" unto his servants|strong="H5650", Can we find|strong="H4672" such a one as this|strong="H2088" is, a man|strong="H0376" in whom|strong="H0834" the Spirit|strong="H7307" of God|strong="H0430" is?
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H0559" unto Joseph|strong="H3130", Forasmuch|strong="H0310" as God|strong="H0430" hath shewed|strong="H3045" thee all this, there is none so discreet|strong="H0995" and wise|strong="H2450" as thou art:
Thou shalt be|strong="H1961" over my house|strong="H1004", and according unto thy word|strong="H6310" shall all my people|strong="H5971" be ruled|strong="H5401": only in the throne|strong="H3678" will I be greater|strong="H1431" than thou.
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H0559" unto Joseph|strong="H3130", See|strong="H7200", I have set|strong="H5414" thee over all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" took off|strong="H5493" his ring|strong="H2885" from his hand|strong="H3027", and put|strong="H5414" it upon Joseph’s|strong="H3130" hand|strong="H3027", and arrayed|strong="H3847" him in vestures|strong="H0899" of fine linen|strong="H8336", and put|strong="H7760" a gold|strong="H2091" chain|strong="H7242" about his neck|strong="H6677";
And he made him to ride|strong="H7392" in the second|strong="H4932" chariot|strong="H4818" which he had; and they cried|strong="H7121" before him|strong="H6440", Bow the knee|strong="H0086": and he made|strong="H5414" him ruler over all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H0559" unto Joseph|strong="H3130", I am Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and without|strong="H1107" thee shall no man|strong="H0376" lift up|strong="H7311" his hand|strong="H3027" or foot|strong="H7272" in all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
And Pharaoh|strong="H6547" called|strong="H7121" Joseph’s|strong="H3130" name|strong="H8034" Zaphnath-paaneah|strong="H6847"; and he gave|strong="H5414" him to wife|strong="H0802" Asenath|strong="H0621" the daughter|strong="H1323" of Poti-pherah|strong="H6319" priest|strong="H3548" of On|strong="H0204". And Joseph|strong="H3130" went out|strong="H3318" over all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
And Joseph|strong="H3130" was thirty|strong="H7970" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" when he stood|strong="H5975" before|strong="H6440" Pharaoh|strong="H6547" king|strong="H4428" of Egypt|strong="H4714". And Joseph|strong="H3130" went out|strong="H3318" from the presence|strong="H6440" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and went throughout|strong="H5674" all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
And in the seven|strong="H7651" plenteous|strong="H7647" years|strong="H8141" the earth|strong="H0776" brought forth|strong="H6213" by handfuls|strong="H7062".
And he gathered up|strong="H6908" all the food|strong="H0400" of the seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141", which were in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and laid up|strong="H5414" the food|strong="H0400" in the cities|strong="H5892": the food|strong="H0400" of the field|strong="H7704", which was round about|strong="H5439" every city|strong="H5892", laid he up|strong="H5414" in the same|strong="H8432".
And Joseph|strong="H3130" gathered|strong="H6651" corn|strong="H1250" as the sand|strong="H2344" of the sea|strong="H3220", very|strong="H3966" much|strong="H7235", until he left|strong="H2308" numbering|strong="H5608"; for it was without|strong="H0369" number|strong="H4557".
And unto Joseph|strong="H3130" were born|strong="H3205" two|strong="H8147" sons|strong="H1121" before the years|strong="H8141" of famine|strong="H7458" came|strong="H0935", which Asenath|strong="H0621" the daughter|strong="H1323" of Poti-pherah|strong="H6319" priest|strong="H3548" of On|strong="H0204" bare|strong="H3205" unto him.
And Joseph|strong="H3130" called|strong="H7121" the name|strong="H8034" of the firstborn|strong="H1060" Manasseh|strong="H4519": For God|strong="H0430", said he, hath made me forget|strong="H5382" all my toil|strong="H5999", and all my father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004".
And the name|strong="H8034" of the second|strong="H8145" called|strong="H7121" he Ephraim|strong="H0669": For God|strong="H0430" hath caused me to be fruitful|strong="H6509" in the land|strong="H0776" of my affliction|strong="H6040".
And the seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141" of plenteousness|strong="H7647", that was in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", were ended|strong="H3615".
And the seven|strong="H7651" years|strong="H8141" of dearth|strong="H7458" began|strong="H2490" to come|strong="H0935", according as Joseph|strong="H3130" had said|strong="H0559": and the dearth|strong="H7458" was in all lands|strong="H0776"; but in all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" there was bread|strong="H3899".
And when all the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" was famished|strong="H7456", the people|strong="H5971" cried|strong="H6817" to Pharaoh|strong="H6547" for bread|strong="H3899": and Pharaoh|strong="H6547" said|strong="H0559" unto all the Egyptians|strong="H4714", Go|strong="H3212" unto Joseph|strong="H3130"; what he saith|strong="H0559" to you, do|strong="H6213".
And the famine|strong="H7458" was over all the face|strong="H6440" of the earth|strong="H0776": and Joseph|strong="H3130" opened|strong="H6605" all the storehouses, and sold|strong="H7666" unto the Egyptians|strong="H4714"; and the famine|strong="H7458" waxed sore|strong="H2388" in the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
And all countries|strong="H0776" came|strong="H0935" into Egypt|strong="H4714" to Joseph|strong="H3130" for to buy|strong="H7666" corn; because that the famine|strong="H7458" was so sore|strong="H2388" in all lands|strong="H0776".
